    An analysis of the relatioship between spiritual marketing and consumer loyalty in culinary products based on location

    Background: In today's global era, new lifestyles have emerged, including an increasing public interest in traveling. When traveling, Indonesians have a tradition of purchasing local souvenirs, such as food or handicrafts. Spiritual marketing is an ethics- and honesty-based strategy, particularly in Sharia-compliant businesses, emphasizing sympathetic attitudes and good relationships with consumers. Methods: This investigation utilizes Multiple linear regression approach with the Accidental sampling method, involving 140 respondents. Findings: The Modified R-Square (Adjusted R²) Value test yields a value of 0.422, suggesting that 42.2% of consumer loyalty is influenced by spiritual price, spiritual product, spiritual place and spiritual promotion while the remaining 57.8% is shaped by other factors. The F-test results indicate that the calculated F-value (26.379) exceeds the F-table value (2.43), with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. This leads to the rejection of H₀ and acceptance of Hₐ, confirming that these four spiritual variables collectively have a significant impact on consumer loyalty toward risol gogo products.The T-test results further reveal that each individual variable exerts a strong and meaningful impact on consumer loyalty. Conclusion: by spiritual price, spiritual product, spiritual place and spiritual promotion play a crucial role in shaping consumer loyalty. Novelty/Originality of this article: This research provides a fresh perspective by examining the intricate relationship between traditional marketing and spiritual marketing, an area that remains underexplored in previous studies

    Condition drivers and challenges for implementing rainwater harvesting: Insights from Bangladesh, Ethiopia, and Indonesia

    Background: The limited availability of water complicates the realization of the universal right to clean and safe drinking water. Rain Water Harvesting (RWH) is a time-tested sustainable rainwater management practice that provides numerous benefits. This research aims to address the practical knowledge gap and establish a comparative framework for analyzing the conditions, drivers, and critical challenges of RWH implementation in Bangladesh, Ethiopia, and Indonesia, with the objectives of improving water supply and reducing groundwater extraction in the residential sector. Methods: A systematic literature review was conducted, focusing on journal articles, conference papers, and reviews indexed in Scopus. Findings: The drivers affecting RWH implementation at the research sites such as water source scarcity, seawater intrusion in coastal areas, excessive groundwater extraction, contamination from arsenic and iodine, and droughts exacerbated by climate change. Innovations such as automated first-flush RWH technology, GAMA-Rainfilter, modular RWH systems, and roadwater harvesting have been developed to enhance water supply and mitigate groundwater extraction. Critical challenges in RWH implementation include unpredictable rainy days, assurance of rainwater quality, limited technology to enhance health standards for rainwater, difficulties in scaling up and installing systems for uneducated and poor people, affordability issues, lack of incentives, insufficient institutional and governance support, low acceptance levels, and inadequate regulation and enforcement. Conclusion: A comparative analysis of Bangladesh, Ethiopia, and Indonesia indicates that the success of RWH implementation depends not only on rainfall availability but also on intricate interactions among technical, economic, social, and institutional factors. Novelty/Originality of this article: This research provides a comprehensive approach to analyzing the drivers and challenges of RWH implementation in countries with diverse geographical and socioeconomic contexts, incorporating five dimensions to enhance understanding of the factors influencing the success of RWH initiatives

    Background: The Qur'an, as the holy book of Islam, serves as a guide for human life, containing commands, prohibitions, and regulations in accordance with Islamic law. Proper pronunciation, adhering to the rules of tajweed and makhraj, is essential in reading the Qur'an, particularly in the learning of Tahsin Al-Qur'an. This study aims to explore the implementation of flip chart media in Wafa-based Tahsin Al-Qur'an learning. The Wafa method, which utilizes the right brain, the chosen research site.  Methods: This study is a field research employing a qualitative approach. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this research are the school principal, the head of Tahsin, teachers, and students. The object of the study is the implementation of flip chart media in Wafa-based Tahsin Al-Qur'an learning. Findings: The study reveals that the implementation of flip chart media in Wafa-based Tahsin Al-Qur'an learning is conducted through structured steps, 1) opening, which includes an opening greeting, prayer, and ice-breaking activities; 2) core activities, featuring learning models such as read imitate, read listen private, and read listen classical, using flip charts as learning media; 3) closing, which includes a closing prayer. Conclusion: The study concludes that the structured use of flip chart media enhances the learning process of Tahsin Al-Qur'an in a Wafa-based approach, emphasizing the importance of structured learning steps.     EcoRisk-AI: A multimodal artificial intelligence framework for early prediction of mining environmental risks in Indonesia

    Background: Mining contributes significantly to Indonesia’s economy but simultaneously generates major ecological risks such as land degradation, acid mine drainage, and landslides, which threaten ecosystems and local communities. Conventional monitoring systems remain fragmented and reactive, creating an urgent need for a preventive and predictive solution tailored to local conditions. Methods: This study introduces EcoRisk-AI, a multimodal artificial intelligence framework designed for early prediction of mining-related environmental risks, with a conceptual application focus on high-risk regions such as Kalimantan and Sulawesi. The system integrates diverse data sources, including satellite imagery, ground-based Internet of Things (IoT) sensors, meteorological datasets, and field inspection reports. EcoRisk-AI consists of four components: data aggregation, a detailed spatio-temporal preprocessing unit, a hybrid machine learning engine, and a decision-support interface. The analytical process sequentially processes data, using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) for spatial features, Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) for temporal trends, and decision tree-based models for final risk classification. Findings: EcoRisk-AI demonstrates the capacity to provide adaptive, location-specific predictions of ecological hazards in mining regions. The integration of multimodal data enhances sensitivity and accuracy, while the cloud-based visualization dashboard allows stakeholders to access interactive risk maps and automated alerts. The framework's validity is conceptually demonstrated through quantitative "what-if" scenarios, supported by Digital Twin simulations, to test system resilience. This paper details the system architecture and its proposed validation metrics such as Accuracy, Precision, Recall, F1-Score. Conclusion: EcoRisk-AI offers a proactive solution for sustainable mining risk management in Indonesia, enabling early warning and preventive measures against ecological disasters. Novelty/Originality of this article: This work introduces a unique integration of multimodal environmental data and hybrid artificial intelligence techniques specifically adapted to the Indonesian mining context. EcoRisk-AI contributes an innovative predictive framework that bridges technological capability with sustainable development goals, offering new insights into disaster mitigation and environmental governance.     Preliminary study of screen–printed gold electrode for H2O2 sensor based on electrochemiluminescence of luminol

    Background: Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is mostly used in the water and dairy industries for sterilization and preservation purposes. However, excessive H2O2 residues in milk and tap water pose a health risk. Therefore, accurate measurement of H2O2 residue is essential.  Methods: This study explores the potential of a screen–printed gold electrode (SPGE) as a sensor for H2O2 sensor using the electrogenerated chemiluminescence (ECL) method of luminol in the electrolyte of phosphate buffer solution (PBS) under alkaline condition (pH of 9). Findings: The detection of H2O2 was achieved a linear calibration equation of y = 0.0215[H2O2] + 0.2006 within a concentration range of 0.5 to 200 µM (R2 = 0.9998), demonstrating reliable ECL measurements.  Conclusion: The analytical performance evaluation of H2O2 sensor exhibited a low limit of detection (LOD) of 3.06 µM, a limit of quantification (LOQ) of 10.20 µM, and good measurement repeatability, with a relative standard deviation (%RSD) of 6.03%, which is below ⅔ of the Horwitz coefficient of variation (9.85%). Unmodified SPGE offers simplicity, ease of use, a stable surface, and good conductivity while maintaining excellent performance. Novelty/Originality of this article: The application of the ECL method on SPGE for H2O2 detection offers excellent analytical performance, making it a promising approach for monitoring H2O2 residues in the water and dairy industries, with a recovery from 83.83 to 106.01%

    Advancements in diagnostic approaches for malaria and dengue fever cases in Indonesia and Nigeria

    Background: This review aims to compare diagnostic advancements for malaria and dengue fever in Indonesia and Nigeria, highlighting the implementation of AI-based technologies and electrochemical biosensors. Both diseases are endemic in these tropical countries and present overlapping clinical symptoms, making laboratory-based confirmation methods such as RT-PCR and serological assays critical for accurate diagnosis. Methods: A structured literature review was conducted using Scopus, PubMed, and IEEE Xplore databases, focusing on peer-reviewed studies published between 2015 and 2024 that reported diagnostic performance and field applicability of the technologies. This scientific review synthesizes existing literature on infection mechanisms, conventional diagnostic methods (microscopy, RDT, ELISA, PCR), and state-of-the-art sensing technologies, including the AI-based malaria detection system (AIDMAN: YOLOv5 + Transformer + CNN) and electrochemical biosensors for dengue. Findings: The AI approach for malaria achieved high accuracy (patch-level 98.62% AUC 99.92%; image-level 97% AUC 98.84%). Dengue NS1 electrochemical biosensors reached a detection limit of ~10⁻¹² g/mL with excellent sensitivity and reproducibility, suitable for point-of-care use. Conclusion: Integrating sensing technologies from rapid tests to AI-driven microscopy and biosensors enables faster, more accurate diagnosis, improving patient management in resource-limited settings. Novelty/Originality of this article: This is the first comprehensive review that bridges cross-country (Indonesia and Nigeria) and cross-technology (AI and biosensor) approaches, offering valuable insight into sustainable diagnostic innovation for tropical infectious diseases

    The behavioral changes of birds as a result of urban noise levels

    Background: Bird conservation in Indonesia is still focused on the areas of conservation of specified government. As in the nature reserves, wildlife clan asylum and national park. Nevertheless there are birds that live outside conservation areas such as forest city. DKI Jakarta as the capital city of Indonesia with a population of the most populous and has a forest city as a habitat of birds in urban areas, it become necessary to know research, equity, diversity, wealth, abundance, similarity species of birds, the difference in noise level and noise influence toward activity-voiced bird in three forest city of DKI Jakarta. Methods: Data retrieval method using point count with 24 point edge and central region in each forest city. Findings: Based on the findings presented in Chapter IV of the thesis, the study showed that higher noise levels and greater human presence significantly reduced bird vocal activity across three urban forests in Jakarta. The average noise level was highest in PT JIEP City Forest (66.55 dB), while human activity peaked in Hutan Kota Srengseng with 152 individuals recorded. A statistically relevant pattern was found: bird vocalization activity and the number of vocalizing birds were highest in areas with lower noise and human presence, supporting the hypothesis that anthropogenic disturbance negatively impacts bird behavior. Conclusion: This study reveals that noise levels and human presence significantly affect bird vocal activity and species diversity in urban forests of Jakarta, with lower noise and fewer people correlating with higher bird sound activity and diversity, highlighting the ecological importance of preserving and managing these green spaces.     Work stress, employee capacity, and organizational policy: A quantitative study on the effects of age and job rotation on work ability

    Background: Employability is the capacity possessed by every worker and is a balanced value between personal resources and work factors. Methods: This study used a cross-sectional study design with a research sample of 99 respondents obtained through simple random sampling technique. This research instrument uses The Workplace Stress Scale to measure work stress and the Work Ability Index to measure work ability. This study used chi-square test analysis and multiple logistic regression. Findings: Work ability can be affected by work stress because it disrupts individual health and has an impact on the company. This study aims to determine the relationship between work stress levels and work ability in employees of Company P in 2024. Conclusion: The results showed that the level of work stress was significantly associated with work ability (p=0.003; POR=4.209; 95% CI=1,708-10,369). The results of multivariate analysis showed that age (p=0.017; POR=0.222; 95% CI =0.065-0.761) and job rotation (p=0.000; POR=76.951; 95% CI=12.524-472.811) were confounding variables of the relationship between work stress level and work ability. Novelty/Originality of this article: In this study, the variable most related to work ability is job rotation. Companies can consider before rotating employees and facilitating training in specialized fields so that employees have skills in related fields

    The relationship between host behavior and environmental sanitation with the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers

    Background: Diarrhea is a disease transmitted through water and is a major problem in developing countries, including Indonesia. This study aims to determine the relationship between host behavior and environmental sanitation with the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers in the working area of the Makrayu Health Center, Palembang City. Methods: This quantitative research uses a cross-sectional design with a total sample of 68 toddlers. Data analysis was performed univariately, bivariate using chi-square and multivariate multiple logistic regression prediction models. Findings: Based on data from the Makrayu Community Health Center, Palembang City, 2022, the prevalence of diarrhea in toddlers is 28.9%. The results of the multivariate analysis showed that the most significant variable on the incidence of diarrhea in children under five was the habit of washing hands (p-value 0.012) after controlling for the variables of processing, provision, and serving of food, quality of latrines, and waste disposal facilities. Host behavior and poor environmental sanitation can cause rapid transmission of diarrhea. Therefore, people are advised to pay attention to small things with big meanings by always practicing a clean and healthy life to avoid germs that cause disease. Conclusion: The analysis results show a relationship between the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers and food processing, provision and serving, hand washing habits, and garbage disposal facilities. In contrast, the source of clean water, latrines' quality, and garbage disposal have no significant relationship with the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers in the work area.     Resilient onions: Adapting onion cultivation to climate change

    Background: Global climate change poses serious challenges to shallot cultivation. Rising temperatures, altered rainfall patterns, and reduced soil moisture directly affect plant growth and yield, even leading to crop failure due to flooding or drought. To address these issues, adaptive cultivation strategies are needed, including the use of true shallot seed (TSS), efficient irrigation management, and proper fertilization. This study aims to examine the physiological responses of shallot plants to drought stress caused by climate change, assess the effectiveness of TSS technology as an adaptive planting material, and evaluate irrigation and nutrient management practices to support sustainable cultivation. Methods: This study uses a literature review method to synthesize current knowledge on enhancing the resilience of shallot plants to climate variability. Data collection was carried out through a systematic search in scientific databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed, Google Scholar, and CAB Abstracts, using relevant structured keywords. Data from the selected studies were thematically analyzed to address four main focal points: the physiological and biochemical responses of shallots to drought stress, the development and challenges of adopting True Seed Shallot (TSS) technology, the impact of climate change on nutrient management, and climate-adaptive irrigation management strategies. Findings: Based on the review conducted, climate change, particularly drought stress, has a significant impact on the growth and yield of shallots. Physiological responses such as proline accumulation, soluble sugars, and stomatal closure are key mechanisms in coping with water scarcity, although they also limit plant growth and productivity. The use of True Seed Shallot (TSS) technology has been proven to offer advantages in disease resistance, cost efficiency, and adaptation to changing climatic conditions, although it requires specific cultivation techniques and farmer training. Sustainable agricultural practices, such as drip irrigation, organic fertilization, and the selection of climate-resilient varieties, are essential to enhance crop resilience. Conclusion: integrating drought-resilient practices, such as True Seed Shallot (TSS) technology, efficient irrigation, and nutrient management, is essential to enhance shallot cultivation sustainability under climate change. Novelty/Originality of this article: The novelty of this study lies in its integrated analysis of shallot physiological responses to drought stress, true seed shallot (TSS) technology, and climate-smart irrigation and fertilization practices to enhance shallot resilience under climate change
