The strategy and its objectives will run from 2008-2012. However the action plans will be updated in 2010. This will enable new evidence, effective interventions and new tools to be incorporated

Schools survey - health and well-being of S1-S4 Pupils in new learning community schools in Glasgow City East Community Health Care Partnership final report
In 2007, some 9,246 secondary school pupils (S1-S4) across 27 Glasgow City schools completed a health and wellbeing survey questionnaire. This represents nearly 50% of the S1-S4 roll in Glasgow City. The aims of the study were to provide information which could be used to inform developments within each individual school/New Learning Community and also to provide a baseline of pupil health and wellbeing data against which future progress can be measured

Schools survey: health and well-being of S1–S4 pupils in New Learning Community Schools in Glasgow City
The SCRE Centre at the University of Glasgow was commissioned by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) to carry out a Pupil Health and Well-being study in Glasgow City secondary schools. This study established a baseline of the health and well-being of S1 to S4 pupils in 28 Glasgow City Council secondary schools with the aim of monitoring change in pupil health and well-being over time. Moreover, data from the project will inform the work of individual schools, and also provide information from which longer-term measurements of progress can be made. The project began in January 2007 and ran for 9 months
