    No full text
The comprehensiveness of the meaning is the most important phenomenon of the Arabic language and the most important characteristics that distinguishes the Arabic language from other languages. It is widely used in Arabic language in general, and in the verses of the Qur’an in particular. This article deals with this phenomenon, namely: the use of words to denote more than the original meaning, it means that these words bear or contain more than one meaning, instead, the speaker can expand the meanings of the words by using less words and he can achieve his purpose easily and conveniently without any lacking and defect. This method constantly used in the Holy Qur’an and in the Arabic poetry and prose. This phenomenon is related to the different linguistic and grammatical aspects, such as: similarity of words, the combination of different forms of words which are different in significance, and refrain from expressions, deletions, inclusion and providing before and after behind, and common forms and so on. The interpreters, linguists, grammatists and rhetorician followed this, and gave more care in it which is not hidden in the rhetorical expression, especially in the Qur’anic expressions. So, the function of this unique characteristic of the language becomes clear in this study

Khan, a scholar specializing in Islamic law, endorses a moderate interpretation of the Qur\u27an and opposes what some label as “radical” or “political” Islam. He also believes that legal doctrines dating back to the time of Mohammed have been altered by governments and colonialism so that what now exists in practice is really “Muslim law” rather than true “Islamic law.” He calls extremists “Muslim fundamentalists.” This study is strong on historical, religious, and philosophical analysis, and the author\u27s discussion of the “Medina Charter” of 622 is quite illuminating

The main purpose of this study is to make a comparative analysis of them with a view to enumerating the superiority. It is demonstrated that contrary to prevailing notion, Micro-credit alone can‟t break the vicious circle of poverty unless it is operated under the Islamic Banking System where poor borrower has an opportunity to learn Islamic values and culture and to move from Micro-credit to market through micro enterprise after its successful graduation process. The study is divided into 5 sections. After an introduction in section 1, Grameen Bank model and its weaknesses have been discussed in section 2, while section 3 analyses the RDS model of IBBL. In section 4 a comparison between RDS and Grameen Bank has been made and a conclusion has been drawn in the last section

Islamic Shari’ah is an eternal code of life. It is valid for all places and times to come. It addresses all human beings without any exception. In the same time, it has come with the Laws and Systems which can meet all needs of human beings in all ages and circumstances following the best and perfect way. One of the proofs of being the Islamic Shari’ah valid for every age and place is that there is no incident or new issue without having the solutions and rules regarding it in Islam that may be derived through researching the Qur’an and Sunnah. The changes of the times and the continuity of its development make it clearer in its validity and make the Muslim more faithful in its subjectivity and credibility. The election system by voting is considered one of the newest issues related to the Islamic fiqh (Jurisprudence), as a matter of politics and governance in the present time. Considering this fact, it seems to us an obligatory duty to search the ruling of Sahri’ah about this phenomena, being enriched by the previous studies to the possible extent, shedding the light on its definition and historical background and concentrating on opinions of contemporary scholars regarding it so that it may be clear to us and we can implement it accordingly from the viewpoint of Shari’ah

    No full text
This study examines the works of Rosnani Hashim, a Muslim educationalist from Malaysia, in an attempt to draw a framework that constitutes curriculum foundations for a value-based curriculum. Based on the researchers’ review, they found that Hashim’s contribution to curriculum development is significant because she brings together curriculum foundations and curriculum components, as will be seen in the work that will be examined. This study adopted an inductive and analytical methodology based on Hashim’s work—her ideas on curriculum foundations, i.e. belief, worldview, and philosophy of education, and how these are connected to the components of curriculum, namely the learner, the learning experiences, content knowledge and evaluation. In addition, this study compares Hashim’s value-based curriculum model which is a value-based approach against John Dewey’s thoughts. Hashim’s model is a natural progression of international models of curriculum development. What is the unique about her approach is the integrative nature which should be of interest to curriculum developers

Allah (SWT) says: And do not consume one another’s wealth unjustly or send it (in bribery) to the rulers in order that (they might aid) you (to) consume a portion of the wealth of the people in sin, while you know (it is unlawful). Islamic ethics rests largely on its conception of man in relation to Allah (SWT), his own self and the universe and is growing fast among the academicians, producers, consumers, workers, governments as well as the general public. Any trade which functions in brazen disregard to ethical or moral considerations may cause immense harm to the society and be extremely exploitative. The practice of offering bribes to prospective customers, misleading advertisement, sales of spurious and adulterated goods, hoarding and market manipulation at the expense of the consumer, in particular and the society, in general, provide only a few examples. Contrary to it, Islam offers a unique and ideal perspective of trade ethics. It considers trade as a part of one’s worship, provided that it is conducted in accordance with the commands of Allah (SWT) and the moral code of conduct prescribed by Islam
