Uticaj kondezata drveta bukve (Fagus sylvatica L.) na klijanje semena i rani porast klijanaca korovskih vrsta
Bukva (Fagus sylvatica L.) je najvažnija domaća vrsta drveta, izuzetno značajnaza evropsku drvnu industriju. U toku industrijske prerade ove vrste uobičajen je procesparenja sirove rezane građe. Jedan od ciljeva ovog procesa je promena boje drveta, akao nus proizvod nastaju velike količine kondenzata koji je bogat različitim hemijskimjedinjenjima. Pozitivna svojstva kondenzata se potencijalno mogu iskoristiti upoljoprivrednoj praksi kao alternativni način suzbijanja korova.Cilj istraživanja je bio da se ispita uticaj kondenzata dobijenog pri parenju drvetabukve na klijanje semena i rani porast klijanaca dve korovske vrste (Amaranthusretroflexus i Setaria viridis). Kondenzat je dobijen procesom indirektnog parenja drveta uindustrijskim uslovima. Masa suvog ostatka u kondenzatu je određena metodomuparavanja na vaкuum uparivaču. Biotest sa semenima je obuhvatao pet tretmana koji supredstavljali rastvore kondenzata bukve sledećih koncentracija: 0,25%; 0,5%; 1%; 2% i4%. Kao kontrola korišćena je destilovana voda. Sedam dana nakon postavljanja ogledarađeno je prebrojavanje proklijalih semena i merenje dužine klijanaca (korenaka istabaoceta).Masa suvog ostatka u 100 ml kondenzata bukve je iznosila 2,2 g. Kod svihmerenih parametara procenti inhibicije su srazmerno rasli sa porastom koncentracijekondenzata. Potpuna inhibicija (100%) klijavosti semena A. retroflexus i S. viridis jezabeležena pri primeni najviše koncentracije (4%), dok je pri koncentraciji 2% kod A.retroflexus iznosila 74,33%, a kod S. viridis 53,50% u odnosu na kontrolu. Procentiinhibicije dužine klijanaca su se kretali od 42,14-100% (A. retroflexus) i od 38,15-100%(S. viridis) za primenjene tretmane. Pri koncentraciji 2% dužina klijanaca je inhibirana za95,44% (A. retroflexus), odnosno 91,35% (S. viridis). Pri primeni najniže koncentracije(0,25%), kod A. retroflexus porast korenka je smanjen za 41,95%, a stabaoceta 42,25%,dok je kod S. viridis porast inhibiran za 46,60% (korenak) i 32,06% (stabaoce) u odnosuna kotrolu.Dobijeni rezultati ukazuju na nešto veću osetljivost dikotiledone vrste A.retroflexus na primenu kondenzata bukve u odnosu na monokodiledonu vrstu S. viridis.Pri primeni kondenzata u koncentraciji 2% postignuti su značajni procenti inhibicije kodobe korovske vrste za sve merene parametre što ukazuje na realnu mogućnost primenekondenzata bukve iz procesa parenja
Observed characteristics and projected future changes of extreme consecutive dry days events of the growing season in Serbia
One of the frequently used drought metrics in scientific research is the consecutive dry days (CDDs) because it effectively indicates short-term droughts important to ecosystems and agriculture. CDDs are expected to increase in many parts of the world in the future. In Serbia, both the frequency and severity of droughts have increased in recent decades, with most droughts being caused by a lack of precipitation during the warmer months of the year and an increase in evapotranspiration due to higher temperatures. In this study, the frequency and duration of extreme CDDs in the growing season in Serbia were analysed for the past (1950-2019) and the future (2020-2100) period. The Threshold Level Method over precipitation data series was used to analyse CDD events, where extreme CDDs are defined as at least 15 consecutive days without precipitation. In contrast to the original definition of the CDD as the maximum number of consecutive days with precipitation less than 1 mm, here we defined the threshold that is more suitable for agriculture because field crops can experience water stress after 15 days of no rainfall or irrigation. An approach for modelling the stochastic process of extreme CDDs based on the Zelenhasi & cacute;-Todorovi & cacute; (ZT) method was applied in this research. The ZT method was modified by selecting a different distribution function for modelling the durations of the longest CDD events, enabling a more reliable calculation of probabilities of occurrences. According to the results, future droughts in Serbia are likely to be more frequent and severe than those in the past. The duration of the longest CDDs in a growing season will be extended in the future, lasting up to 62 days with a 10-year return period and up to 94 days with a 100-year return period. Results indicate a worsening of drought conditions, especially in the eastern and northern parts of Serbia. The results can help decision-makers adapt agricultural strategies to climate change by providing information on the expected durations of extreme rainless periods in future growing seasons. Biodesign: spatial structure – an installation Inspired by the stag beetle (lucanus cervus L.)
Korišćenjem bioničkih obrazaca pri parametarskom modelovanju, ovaj rad je usmeren
na analizu forme gornjih vilica (mandibulae) insekta jelenka (Lucanus cervus L.) (Coleoptera:
Lucanidae). Jelenak je u Srbiji, shodno Pravilniku o proglašenju i zaštiti strogo zaštićenih i zaštićenih
divljih vrsta biljaka, životinja i gljiva, strogo zaštićena vrsta. Prema Direktivi o očuvanju prirodnih
staništa i divljih biljnih i životinjskih vrsta (Council Directive 92/43/EEC) L. cervus je vrsta od
zajedničkog interesa, čije očuvanje zahteva proglašenje posebno zaštićenih područja. Naseljava
terestrične ekosisteme: prirodne šume, plantaže i elemente zelene infrastructure. Larve žive u
pridanku trulog debla, panjevima i podzemnim delovima hrasta, vrbe, lipe, pitomog kestena
i drugih lišćara. Kao deo usnog aparata, mandibule mužjaka su posebno razvijene, mogu da
dostignu dužinu od 30mm i služe za borbu mužjaka oko ženke. Mandibule jelenka su inspiracija
za biodizajn izrađenog konceptualnog rešenja prikazane prostorne strukture – instalacije - koja
je rezulat rada. Procedura za dobijanje finalnog rešenja započela je izradom slobodnoručnih
skica, stilizovanjem forme mandibula jelenka, zatim je kreirana prostorna struktura – instalacija
kroz proces digitalnog modelovanja finalnog biodizajnerskog konceptualnog rešenja. U ovom
radu su korišćeni softveri: AutoCad 2023, SketchUp Pro 2023 i Lumion 12.5. Pri geometrijskom
modelovanju je primenjena metoda Voroni dijagram / Delunijeva triangulacija. Rezultat je
monumentalna, dinamična prostorna struktura, namenjena otvorenim prostorima, u obliku
gornjih vilica jelenka. Različite visine zidova kreirane prostorne strukture asociraju na debljinu
samih vilica jelenka, gde je gornja vilica najdeblja na proksimalnom kraju, odnosno na mestu gde
se spaja sa glavom, a najtanja distalno, na vrhu. Upravo, na opisani način, modelovana konturna
forma konceptualne prostorne instalacije pruža mogućnost, kako samog prolaska kroz prostornu
strukturu, tako i zbog predviđenih različitih visinskih nivoa omogućava različite načine upotrebe
izrađenog projekta od strane korisnika. Finalno rešenje 3D modela ima za cilj stavljanje akcenta
na značaj insekata kao saprofagnih organizama koji predstavljaju ključnu kariku u razlaganju
organske materije i održavanju stabilnosti gotovo svakog ekosistema bez kojih bi se čitav lanac
ishrane prekinuo i život na ovoj planeti drastično promenio.By using bionic patterns in parametric modeling, this paper is focused on the analysis of the
upper jaws (mandibulae) form of the European stag beetle insect (Lucanus cervus L.) (Coleoptera:
Lucanidae). In Serbia, according to the Rulebook on the proclamation and protection of strictly
protected and protected wild species of plants, animals and mushrooms, the stag beetle is a strictly
protected species. According to the Directive on the conservation of natural habitats and wild
plant and animal species (Council Directive 92/43/EEC) L. cervus is a species of common interest,
whose conservation requires the declaration of specially protected areas. It inhabits terrestrial
ecosystems: natural forests, plantations, and elements of green infrastructure. Larvae live in the
appendages of rotten trunks, stumps and underground parts of oak, willow, linden, chestnut,
and other deciduous trees. As part of the mouth apparatus, the upper jaws (mandibulae) of the
male are specially developed, they can reach a length of 30 mm and are used for the male’s fight
over the female. The mandibles of the European stag beetle are the inspiration for the biodesign
of the created conceptual solution of the displayed spatial structure - the installation - which is
the result of this project. The procedure for obtaining the final solution began with the creation of
freehand sketches, stylization of the form of the stag beetle’s mandible, then the spatial structure -
installation was created through the process of digital modeling of the final biodesign conceptual
solution. The following software were used in this biodesign: AutoCad 2023, SketchUp Pro 2023
and Lumion 12.5. The Voroni diagram / Delaunay triangulation method was used for geometric
modeling. The result is a monumental, dynamic outdoor spatial structure in the shape of
European stag beetle upper jaws. The different heights of the walls of the created spatial structure
are associated with the thickness of the stag beetle jaws themselves, where the upper jaw is
thickest at the proximal end, i.e. at the point where it joins the head, and the thinnest distally, at
the top. Modeled in the previously described manner, the contour form of the conceptual spatial
installation provides the possibility of both passing through and, due to the different height levels,
enables different ways of interactions by the users of the created project. The final solution of the
3D model aims to emphasize the importance of insects as saprophagous organisms that represent
the key link in the decomposition of organic matter and the maintenance of the stability of almost
any ecosystem, without which the entire food chain would collapse and life on this planet would
drastically change
Uticaj vrste elementa veze i lepka na čvrstoću ugaonih spojeva kod prozora: deo 1
U radu je analiziran uticaj površine lepljenog spoja na čvrstoću ugaonog spoja kod prozora. Ugaoni spoj kod prozora je izrađen u varijanti dvostrukog i trostrukog čepa i proreza uz primenu PVaC lepka. Uzorci su izrađeni od drveta bora (Pinus Nigra) Za potrebe istraživanja je izrađen i poseban nosač za uzorke kako bi se omogućilo ispitivanje po metodi iz standarda EN514:2018. Cilj rada je da se odredi uticaj elementa veze na čvrstoću ugaonog spoja prozora pri upotrebi PVaC lepka. Uzorci su podeljeni u 2 grupe prema broju čepova sa po 30 uzoraka u svakoj. Korišćene su standardne metode statističke analize. Ispitivanje je pokazalo da spoj sa trostrukim čepom i prorezom daje veće vrednosti sile loma u odnosu na dvostruki čep i prore
ATLAS OF HONEY PLANTS OF MONTENEGRO
Publikacija „Atlas Medonosnih bilјaka Crne Gore” je nastala kao rezultat trogodišnjeg
istraživanja koje je sprovedeno u okviru projekta „Izrada atlasa medonosnih biljaka sa katastrom
pčelinjaka“ koji je finansiran od Svetske banke, kao drugi projekat institucionalnog razvoja i
jačanja poljoprivrede Crne Gore (MIDAS 2).
Atlas ima za cilј da pruži podršku u stvaranju uslova za održivi razvoj pčelarstva,
ekološki i ekonomski optimalno korišćenje pčelinje paše u Crnoj Gori, a realizovan je inicijativu
Saveza pčelarskih organizacija Crne Gore. Publikacija je usklađena sa smernicama i ciljevima
postavljenim Pravilnikom o bližoj sadržini, načinu utvrđivanja i vođenja katastra pčelinje paše i
pčelarskog pašnog reda („Službeni list CG“, br. 72/10 i 48/15) kojim se definiše sadržina i način
vođenja katastra pčelinje paše i način utvrđivanja pčelarskog pašnog reda.
Izazov u prikupljanju i obradi podataka o medonosnim vrstama Crne Gore predstavljao je
izučavanje bogatog prirodnog fonda biljnih vrsta na području koji se sastoji od mozaika različitih
staništa i geografskih karakteristika. Rad na ovoj publikaciji je podrazumevao prikupljanje
podataka o biološkim i ekološkim karakteristikama vrsta značajnih za pčelinju pašu, uključujući
podatke o fenologiji cvetanja biljaka, abundanci i distribuciji medonosnih biljaka.
Na osnovu dosadašnjih istraživanja evidentirano je više od 550 vrsta na teritoriji Crne
Gore, koje domaća pčela (Apis melifera) rado posećuje. Više od 130 vrsta i rodova je izdvojeno kao
posebno značajno i opisano u publikaciji. Familije sa najvećim brojem medonosnih biljnih vrsta
u Crnoj Gori, koje odlikuje najveće obilje nektara i polena su: Rhamnaceae, Asteraceae, Fabaceae,
Lamiaceae, Rosaceae, Boraginaceae i dr., čiji su predstavnici zeljaste i drvenaste vrste. Vrste
značajne sa aspekta produkcije medne rose pripadaju familijama Pinaceae, Salicaceae, Fagaceae
i Betulaceae.
Od posebnog značaja je endemska vrsta Moltkia petraea, sa najvećim prisustvom u
opštinama Bar, Cetinje, Kolašin, Kotor, Plužine, Podgorica, Tuzi. Ova vrsta, kao endemit
Balkanskog poluostrva, sa najvećim prisustvom u Crnoj Gori i Hrvatskoj, zaslužuje posebnu
pažnju u budućim istraživanjima, naročito za potrebe brendiranja i zaštite geografskog porekla
medova sa područja Crne Gore i zapadnog Balkana.
Sastavni deo publikacije je Sveska polena najznačajnijih medonosnih biljaka Crne Gore,
koja pruža osnovu i potrebne podatke za melisopalinološke analize, za potrebe utvrđivanja
prisustva biljnih vrsta u medu.
Atlas sadrži skup naučno proverenih informacija i dokaza neophodnih u postupku zaštite
autentičnosti ili geografskog porekla crnogorskog meda, koji su od posebnog značaja za izradu
specifikacije u postupku zaštite. Uz ovu publikaciju izrađena je geoprostorna baza podataka o
prisustvu i rasprostranjenju medonosnih vrsta Crne Gore – Katastar medonosnih biljaka Crne
Gor
Influence of plastic waste on soil properties and microbial activity in three river basins in Serbia
Microplastic (MP) accumulation in soil may have a detrimental impact on soil quality and biota . The goal of this study was to reveal the impact of microplastic particles on soil chemical . physical and biological characteristics . Alluvial soils from three main river basins (Danube , Morava and Sava) most affected by seasonal flooding were selected in Serbia . Two type of land use were studied: forest soil (MP polluted and non-polluted) and agricultural soil (plastic greenhouse and open crop production) . Soil was sampled from two depths 0-15 and 15-30 cm in 2022 . Soil electrical conductivity (EC), pH, CEC, content of total carbon , nitrogen, P205, K20,
Cu, Zn, Mn and CaC03, particle size distribution , volumetric mass, specific mass and porosity,
basal respiration and microbial activity measured by alkaline trap method were analyzed . The values of EC and pH were higher in all soil samples from plastic greenhouses compared to the control samples in both depths at both sites, while the measured values of CEC, carbon, nitrogen, P20s. and KiO were higher in samples from the control arable soils . The content of CaCQ3 was higher in the samples from the greenhouse compared to the control at both depths at the site in the Sava basin, while it wasn't significantly different in the samples from the Danube basin. The content of Cu, Zn and Mn was higher in the control samples at both depths in both sites, except for the sample from a depth of 15-30 cm from the location in the Danube basin where the Mn content is higher in the greenhouse. No significant difference in volumetric mass between the samples from the greenhouse and the control samples at both sites was detected. However, the specific mass, porosity, and particles > 0.02 mm were higher in the soil from the greenhouse at both sites . The microbial activity expressed by soil respiration at the Sava basin wasn't significantly different between the plastic house and control arable soil. On the contrary, in the Danube valley respiration was by 78% higher in the control samples compared to the samples from the plastic house. In all studied sites soil chemical and biological properties were significantly affected by the presence of plastic materials in plastic greenhouses . Generally , polluted sites showed elevated microbial respiration and the rates of C mineralization. Wild mixed waste deposits contain a variety of organic substrates including microplastics , which are organic polymers. They can serve as a source of organic carbon for soil microorganisms under laboratory-controlled conditions with optimal temperature and humidity. The changes in soil physical parameters are obviously due to the presence of plastic particles. Further study of differences in the activity of soil microorganisms in polluted and unpolluted areas is necessary in order to identify the threshold level of MP pollution for the optimal amount and activity of soil biota, as well as for soil health and fertilit
Conservation of the gene pool of woody species in Belgrade's urban forests
Urban forests are the basis of green infrastructure and an important resource for every city. They
are composed of different forest tree species, each of which has specific genes that determine
phenotypic characteristics, growth dynamics, and physiological responses to various
provocations, allowing trees to adapt and survive in changing climatic conditions. All this points
to the importance of genetic information, which has also received increasing attention in urban
forests in recent years. The paper presents the results of research conducted in Belgrade's urban
forests: "Great War Island", "Košutnjak“, "Kosmaj" and "Zvezdara Forest", with the aim of
identification, assessment of variability, conservation, and sustainable use of the gene pool,
especially of rare and endangered tree species. On the "Great War Island" these are Populus
nigra L., Populus alba L., Salix alba L. and Ulmus leavis Pall., whose populations consist of old
trees in poor health without natural rejuvenation. In the "Košutnjak“, "Kosmaj" and "Zvezdara
Forest", a significant gene pool is represented by autochthonous oaks: Quercus pubescens Willd.,
Quercus frainetto Ten., Quercus robur L., Quercus petraea Liebl., and Quercus cerris L., which
represent the remnants of former primary communities whose succession is ongoing. In addition
to the oaks, there is a significant gene pool of forest fruit trees such as Prunus avium L., Pyrus
pyraster (L.) Burgsd., Sorbus domestica L., and Sorbus torminalis (L.) Crantz, which are species
at risk in the forest fund of the Republic of Serbia and contribute significantly to the biodiversity
of these areas
Effect of commercial biofertilizer on the growth parameters of two-year-old northern red oak (quercus rubra l.) seedlings
Microbiological biofertilizers are gaining more and more attention in the global market as an
environmentally healthier substitute for conventional chemical fertilizers. This paper
investigated the effect of treatment of two-year-old northern red oak seedlings with
commercial biofertilizer Slavol® during one growing season. The medium was prepared
according to the producer’s instructions and applied foliar in late June. Seedling height and
root collar diameter were measured as the prominent representatives of seedling quality
growth parameters. The results confirmed the positive impact of the biofertilizer on seedling
growth. Mann-Whitney U test showed a statistically significant difference in seedlings height
(U = 42.000; p < 0.001) and root collar diameter (U = 56.000; p < 0.001) among the treated
seedlings group at the beginning and the end of the experiment. In the control group, the
statistically significant difference was noted for seedling root collar diameter (U = 55.000; p ˂
0.001), but not for seedling height (U = 163.000; p = 0.624) at the experiment beginning and

Innovative solutions in the implementation of the green agenda in Serbia on the example of the project “Green Blue Serbia” in the function of sustainable forestry, forest care and healthy environment
Cilj ovog rada je da se na primeru dobre prakse pokaže način korišćenja zelenih klimatskih fondova u okviru projekta „EU za zelenu agendu u Srbiji“ - Izazov za inovativna rešenja u oblasti obnove šumskih ekosistema i ozelenjavanja. Takođe rad će izvršiti analizu međunarodne, međusektorske, unutarsektorske i institucionalne saradnje, tokom izrade i realizacije projekta i dati preporuku za njeno unapređenje. Projekat „Zeleno plava Srbija“ je pokrenut uz podršku Evropske unije i u partnerstvu s Ministarstvom zaštite životne sredine, Švedskom agencijom za međunarodni razvoj i saradnju (SIDA) i Evropskom investicionom bankom (EIB), Švajcarskom ambasadom, a pod pokroviteljstvom Programa Ujedinjenih nacija za razvoj (UNDP). Realizovan je od strane Javno vodoprivredno preduzeće (JVP) „Srbijavode“, Javno preduzeće za gazdovanje šumama (JP) „Srbijašume“ kao vodećih partnera na projektu, na kome su učestvovali Šumarski fakultet – Univerziteta u Beogradu i Evropski pokreta u Srbiji – Leskovac. Takođe u radu su data i inovativna rešenja koja su se sprovodila u okviru Projekta, na pošumljavanju na degradiranim i erozijom ugroženim staništima u slivovima reka Jablanice, Vlasine i Pčinje, ali i prikazani različiti načini izvođenja radova na nezi šuma. Rad obrađuje i temu održivog regionalnog razvoja Srbije, jer su projektni ciljevi bili usmereni ka teritorijama Jablaničkog, Pčinjskog i Pirotskog okruga. U radu se posebno obrađuje deo koji se odnosi na edukaciju mladih jer su kroz projekat održana brojna predavanja za više od 400 mladih iz 18 škola s Juga Srbije i završna konferencija u Privrednoj komori Srbije u Leskovcu, što je dodatno pobudilo intresovanje mladih ljudi za životnu sredinu
