Studiu cu privire la tehnologia de obținere și a calității biscuiților de tip „popular”
Biscuits are food products that are made from flour, water, sugar, fat and baking powder. Depending on the assortment, the biscuit recipes are improved by adding milk, eggs, seeds (poppy or sesame), various flavours, toppings (honey, chocolate), etc. Biscuits are products with an important role in the food industry, worldwide, being highly requested by consumers. The aim of the work was to follow the technological flow for obtaining the Popular biscuits (900 g). This assortment was also subjected to physicochemical laboratory analyses to verify the quality and compliance with the quality standards in force
Cercetări privind valorificarea în terarii a speciei Gicus benjamina sub formă de bonsai
The technique of growing plants in the form of bonsai was introduced into Japanese culture about 12 centuries ago by the Chinese, but the terrarium first appeared in 19th century in London, when collectors of rare plants discovered that their transport can be carried out in closed containers.
In the current paper, are presented aspects regarding the utilization in terrariums of the species Ficus benjamina directed in the form of bonsai. Three types of pots were used for terrariums: a closed pot, an open legless pot, and an open stemmed pot. After research, it was found that Ficus benjamina has a great capacity to adapt to the bonsai technique and in terrariums
Facilitarea rizogenezei și a caulogenezei la specia Epipremnum aureum prin micropropagare in vitro și folosirea diferitelor formulări ale mediului de cultură Murashige-Skoog
Epipremnum aureum is a houseplants cultivated in Romania for its decorative appearance given by the presence of large heart-shaped leaves. In vitro micropropagation is one of the most used laboratory techniques for the multiplication of plants under controlled conditions (humidity, temperature, photoperiod). As E. aureum is of commercial interest, in vitro micropropagation by direct organogenesis from petiole and leaf explants grown on Murashige-Skoog (MS) basal culture medium supplemented with both a carbon source (sucrose) and a gelling agent (agar-agar) is proposed. Depending on the aim, the medium was supplemented with different growth hormones. Thus, α-naphthaleneacetic acid (NAA) and 6-benzyladenine (BA) were added for rhizogenesis, and in the case of shoots regeneration the MS medium was supplemented with kinetin (Kin) and 6-benzyladenine (BA). Both root and adventitious shoot regeneration efficiency was higher from petiole explants compared to the use of leaf fragments

An Appropriate Genetic Approach to Endangered Podolian Grey Cattle in the Context of Preserving Biodiversity and Sustainable Conservation of Genetic Resources
In the context of the general phenomenon of diminishing genetic diversity, especially in cattle, the conservation of endangered species plays a primary role. The disappearance of some animal populations can irreparably affect the biodiversity of genetic resources. Among the most ancient European cattle are breeds that belong to the Podolian group, the history of which is still not well established. The common origin of these breeds is the wild ox (Bos taurus primigenius), which has been declared extinct since the 17th century. The purpose of this paper is to highlight and compare the latest studies on the origin, evolution, genetic diversity, and phylogenetic relationships of Podolian cattle, with special emphasis on the endangered Romanian Grey Steppe. The importance of studying these cattle derives from the special biological properties by which they have distinguished themselves over time (adaptability and resistance to diseases, severe climate and habitat conditions, hardiness, and longevity). The bibliographic references reviewed in this study confirm that these breeds are carriers of valuable genes that must be preserved for improvement of other cattle and protection of biodiversity. The information presented represents a valuable tool for efforts to conserve endangered cattle
Factorial analysis of some indicators in chronic osteoarticular model of rabbits
The using the of animals in the procedure of research project are strictly regulated by EU and Romanian low.
Currently, the assessment of pain, suffering or distress in animals used in procedures is based on the physiological
responses and behavioral changes that the animal exhibits. In long time models is better to take into consideration more
quantifiable variables. The aim of the paper was to study some variables such us body mass, feed conversion, average
daily gain, feed intake or feed rests associated with chronic osteo-articular rabbit model (OA) in rabbits. A number of
30 (3-31/2 month old) rabbits in 4 groups (non OA, OC-control, OA-treatment 1 and OA-treatment 2) where observed
for 8 weeks period. By the trial period, the initial (F=14.648 at P<0.000) and final body weight (F=17.141 at P<0.000)
and average daily gain (F=3.596 at P=0.029) were associated with the OA, also group x weight interactions [F= 2.692 at
p = 0.026] was found. The main effect of time was statistically significant (F=11.210 at p=0.000) on ADG and the
interaction group x time was also effective (F=2.244 at p=0.009); the interaction was also significant for interaction
group x feed consumption (F= 2.325 at p = 0.004). Generally, the results of the study were clearly influenced by
treatments and sometimes by the environmental conditions and the interactions between factors in a multivariate
analysis but repeated measuring of body mass (weekly) is enough for following the welfare of rabbits in chronically OA
animal models
Spatial and diametric evolution of a rare species, Prunus avium, in different biotopes in Northwest Tunisia
This paper aimed to
investigate and analyse the diametric and
spatial distribution of Prunus avium
populations in Tunisia. This study may help
us document better information about the
ecological processes and its functioning.
Dendrometric and ecological data were
collected on four square plots of an area of 1
ha each within two forests, Tabarka and Ain
Draham, in northwest Tunisia. The results
presented in this work show that P. avium
individuals present a diametrical structure in
the form of an "inverted J" translated by the
dominance of the seedlings compared to the
other classes. The analysis of the spatial
distribution shows that wild cherry is
identified by its aggregates and variable size
(approximately 5 m and 20 m). It is coherent
with the mode of vegetative propagation by
suckering and the dispersal of fruits by birds.
This investigation opens insight into other
species to ensure good sustainable
management of natural resources
Socio-cultural effects of rural tourism development on the host communities
Many of the tourist destinations are affected in several aspects by the development of tourism, including the sociocultural one. The present work aims, based on a review of the literature of concern, to present the socio-cultural impacts
of tourism on the rural area and to determine how the consequences are perceived by the local community. The most
frequent social and cultural effects generated by tourist activities carried out in rural areas involve items related to: the
interaction between tourists and residents; quality of life and local cultural activities (crafts, music, art, traditions);
ethnic and cultural identity of the host community; quality of public services and general infrastructure; recreational
opportunities and facilities. Towards the development of rural tourism, residents generally have a favorable attitude and
are aware of the social and cultural benefits to their community. The specialized literature highlights that the impact
induced by tourism in the socio-cultural environment, can be positive, as well as negative. In the most cases, residents
believe that the advantages brought by tourism for the rural community outweigh its negative impact. While some
studies have found that positive non-economic (socio-cultural and environmental) impacts are considered to be more
important than positive economic impacts, other researchers have concluded that economic benefits of rural tourism
come first in residents' perceptions. The influence of some of the socio-demographic characteristics (age, gender, level
of education, dependence on tourism etc.) on the benefits perceived by the local population can differ greatly between
regions or countries due to the particularities and diversity of the rural communities (customs, beliefs, local specific
etc.)
Land use changes and effects of rainfall on vegetation cover in two Mediterranean basins (Málaga, Spain)
The western Mediterranean is
an area particularly affected by the effects of
climate change, which makes it a hotspot,
and it is also an area where there is particular
competition for land use, where subtropical
crops coexist with traditional crops including
vines, olives, and almond trees, and where
there is growing demand for urban
development and tourism. It is one of the
most sensitive to the effects of climate
change because of the markedly contrasting
extreme events, including heat waves,
torrential rains and drought. In this study we
analysed changes in land use, torrential
events and the effect of rainfall on vegetation
cover and soils in two basins, the main
objective being to analyse the evolution of
land use and water erosion in recent decades.
The two basins are similar but have different
configurations and contrasting uses. One has
steep slopes and is characterized by more
typical Mediterranean crops, such as
vineyards, while the other has been subject
to clearing that has modified the steep
slopes, and where there has been a change to
more competitive crops, including
subtropical crops. The results highlight the
continuous increase of irrigated crops and
urban areas and a gradual disappearance of
rainfed crops, the occurrence between
torrential events and the correlation between
monthly rainfalls and vegetation cover
Research on the productivity and quality of some wheat varieties in the pedoclimatic conditions of east Botosani county, Romania
The main purpose of the research was to test the productive and qualitative potential of 20 Romanian and foreign wheat
varieties, from seven seed producers: Axereal, INCDA Fundulea, ITC Seeds, KWS, Lidea, Limagrain and RWA The
studies were carried out in the 2021/2022 agricultural year, in the vegetable farm belonging to the Samis Urban SRL
company, from Mihălașeni, Botoșani county, under non-irrigated conditions. The main parameters monitored were
production, MMB, MH, protein content and wet gluten. After centralizing the data, we can see that the highest
production was obtained with the Absalon variety and was 6189 kg/ha; The highest MH was determined in the Ursita
variety, this being 86 kg/hl; the highest protein content was obtained in the Voinic variety (14.3%), which also has the
highest amount of wet gluten (36.9%). From the comparative analysis of the data we find that there is no positive
correlation between the analyzed parameter
