Topo-geodetic modern methods and techniques for building monitoring process
Our proposal for this paper is to identify and introduce topographic methods and technologies to ensure the best
monitoring of buildings of vital importance for society or those with significant structural damage due to compaction of
soil. The main purpose of this study is to find and compare contemporary methods that have been developed in recent
years and are used in applied topography, replacing traditional methods successfully. Recently, digital technology has
evolved at the same time with society needs and development. The use of 3D laser scanner, combined GPS stations,
laser or photogrammetric scanning, total or modern robotic stations and drones, appear to be the most suitable solutions
nowadays. A comparative research using different scientific papers will be presented in a short table. Each method is
described with its advantages and disadvantages
The Xeno-tolerance project- a useful tool in doing quality research
The article presents some ideas promoted by the European project Xeno-tolerance 2015-1-FR01-KA202-015143 as they
were implemented by EuroEd Foundation Iasi. The paper narrows down the project’s ambitious goal (prevention and
fight against radicalisation) to one aspect where any student may be vulnerable: the authenticity and credibility of
internet resources and databases. The experiment carried out on students (studying medicine and oenology) familiarised
them with the criteria they could apply in assessing the credibility of websites they often use when doing research on
the internet. It also helped them distinguish between facts and opinions. This ability enhanced their chances to
distinguish opinion from informationwhich sometimes aims at manipulating readers’ opinions. The activities suggested
enabled students not only to enrich their vocabulary and practise language structures in the target language but also to
diagnose the social realities of the environment, detect unauthentic sources, evaluate and select the most adequate
resources, including social media
Dinamica umidităţii solului în plantaţiile viticole în condiţii de stres hidric şi termic
At the Copou -Iasi viticulture center, in recent years we witnessed a decrease in the multi -annual average rainfall regime, this being of 579.6 mm and of 398.1 mm (1981-2010) during the vegetation period. Between 1992 -2014, the driest years were 2000, 2007, 2009 and 2012. Drought conditions were also in 2015 and 2016, having different characteristics. In 2015, there were few precipitations accompanied by high temperatures, often above 30°C. The amounts of rainfall recorded in 2016 were very unevenly distributed, thus there were recorded months with very low quantities, well below the normal values and months when quantities were higher than the normal values. Low rainfall and high temperatures have led to a sharp decline in accessible soil moisture values, well below optimal humidity levels for the vine, and to increased deficit
Influenţa perioadei de păstrare asupra variaţiei conţinutului de fenoli la cireşe
The paper deals with bio-compounds preservation in soft fruits during storage in order to allow their consumption in off-season. The work addresses sweet cherries, the most popular consumed fruits in countries across the temperate regions like Romania, which the consumer can enjoy only in May-July period. Consequently, the aim of the study was to evaluate the influence of storage conditions on the yield of biologically active compounds. In this respect, the content of total phenols and flavonoids, and free radical scavenging activity have been analyzed in order to enable consumers to choose the most efficient storage method. The best characteristics cultivar offering the potential prospects for growers is also highlighted. Sweet cherries provided by ‘New Star’, ‘Celeste’ and ‘Giant Red’ cultivars were stored for 7 days in refrigerated and freezing conditionsand then subjected to the extraction method with hydrochloric acid in methanol. Using Folin-Ciocâlteu method total phenols content of the extracts was determined. The flavonoid content was identified using an adapted method based on rutin as reference sample. The free radical scavenging activity(EC50)of the extracts was determined using stabile 2,2 diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical. The results showed that high phenols and flavonoids contents are in ‘N Star’ cultivar (0.144 g in fresh fruits and 0.129 g refrigerated ones) while the free radical scavenging activity is better conserved in frozen fruits from ‘Celeste’ cultivar (5.94 mg/mL)
Evaluarea fertilităţii soiurilor noi apirene incluse în sortimentul viticol al Republicii Moldova
In the paper are presented the results of study of fertility of the new seedless varieties included in the grapevine assortment of the Republic of Moldova - Apiren roz timpuriu, Apiren alb, Apiren roz, Apiren Basarabean and Apiren negru de Grozeşti. The correlation between the main fertility elements (number of buds left after pruning, number of growing buds, total number of shoots, including fertile, number of formed grapes) was appreciated. In all cases a direct, very close correlation has been attested, especially for the varieties Apiren roz timpuriu and Apiren negru de Grozeşti. It is noted the advanced potential of all varieties for issuing shoots from multiannual wood, inclusive of fertile shoots
Fiscal instruments through the impact of macroeconomic and structural factors and parameters of the market economy
The existence of a functioning market economy is a prerequisite for the Republic of Moldova to successfully develop
its capacity to cope with competitive pressure and market forces within the EU. Therefore, at the beginning of the
transition period, when the creation and reformation of the public expenditure, taxes, and tax systems was sought in
order to ensure their compatibility with the market economy mechanisms along with the changes in the structures of
the financial institutions and the national public budget, the functions of the fiscal policy were reasonably focused on
the priority role of ensuring the main governmental functions. Over the next few years, after the overall restructuring
of the fiscal system, its mechanisms had different effects from what it was expected, in the conditions of a
management that proved not to be performing well. This article, in fact, involves dealing with a very complex issue
and with numerous and varied interdependencies on the fiscal instruments and the functionality of the national
economy
Management of breeding sows in a farm in Tulcea County
The study was carried out between June 2016 – May 2017 in a private unit in Tulcea County, and involved 60 sows and gilts of different ages. The animals were divided into two experimental groups: group I involved 30 F1 gilts (20 gilts LWxL and 10 gilts LWxD) aged between 7-8 months and group II had 30 F1 sows (20 sows LxLW and 10 sows LWxL) aged between 28-36 months. Gilts were checked for estrus twice daily and were artificially inseminated. For the first group the mean value of piglets born alive was beetwen 7.9±3.84 for LWxL gilts and 9.85±2.73 for LWxD gilts. In group II the data recorded were 9±3.98 piglets for LxLW and 9.6±3.20 piglets for LWxL sows. Good results in terms of weaned piglets were recorded for LWxL gilts (9.7±2.73) and LWxL sows (9.1±2.96). In group II there were 13 cases of piglet mortality. The results of our study indicate that gilts presented higher values of the fertility parameters such that age is an important index to take into consideration
Computed Tomography evaluation of occipital bone tumor in a Doberman – Case study
A 6.5 years old intact Doberman female was brought to consultation showing sign of medullary compression. The neurological examination concludes a lesion in cervical part of the spine, given the fact that the patient presents mobility deficiency on all four limbs, having trouble maintaining a standing position. The mental status, the behavior and the evaluation of the central nervous system haven’t show any kind of changes. The CT examination of the spine show no changes in the vertebral alignment or sign of compression. The CT scanning of the head reveals an infiltrative osteolytic formation in the right side of the temporo-occipital bone of the skull
Tendinţa evoluţiei precipitaţiilor în podgoria Dealul Bujorului în condiţii de schimbări climatice probabile
The evolution of the precipitations in the Dealul Bujorului vineyard was studied during 1980-2016. The periods 1980-2006 and 2007-2016 were compared. We analyzed the frequency of torrential rains, rainfalls, rainfall surplus / rainfall both during the vegetation period and during the winter. All these observations and determinations will allow the assessment of the consequences of extreme precipitation under the current climate change conditions. From the data analyzed was observed a tendency to accentuate the rainfall events during certain periods (increased frequency of extreme rains, torrential rain followed by long periods with rainfall, increasing the frequency of non-worthwhile rains)
Infestation of amfibians from Pelophylax Esculenta (Amphibia) complex with the trematode species Codoncephalus Urniger (Strigeida) in Central Codrii in the Republic of Moldova
The paper presents data on amphibians’ trematodes infestation from Pelophylax esculenta complex (Amphibia, Anura) in natural and anthropized ecosystems of Central Codri forest from the Republic of Moldova. The helminthological researches of amphibians were accomplished for the first time in the Republic of Moldova. As result, the infestation of Pelophylax complex species (Pelophylax ridibundus, P. lessonae, P. esculentus) with trematodes from family Diplostomidae (Codonocephalus urniger, Rudolphi, 1918 was established. For each species there were established: taxonomic status, including synonyms, the hosts, the location in organs, the geographic spreading, etiology and biologic cycle. There are also mentioned the amount of collected material, the morphologic description of the species, original figures and pictures, the level of infestation depending on age, sex and ecosystem
