Studii privind gradul de asemănare fenotipică dintre unele soiuri autohtone de viţă de vie prin utilizarea metodelor statistico-matematice
Use ofstatistical mathematical methods in the characterization of cultivarsand determination of theirdegree of similarity provides important information concerningcultivarsappurtenanceto different sortogroups, the degree of relatedness between cultivarsand their differentiation. The purpose of this study was to determine the degree of phenotypic similaritybetween 11 autochthonous grapevine cultivarsbased on the physico-mechanical, biochemical and physiological characteristics of grapes and leaves, using Cluster analysis, which admits the existence of polythetic groups and allows verificationof genotype belonging to a varietal faction. Group with the lowest chaining index, indicating a highphenotypic similarity, was Coarnăneagră~ Coarnăneagrăselecţionată, followed by Purpuriu ~ Cetăţuia and Someşan ~ Milcov groups, fact justified by their common origin within thegroup. A lower degree of similarity was notedbetween Purpuriu and Radames cultivars, with Villard blanc as commongenitor, and betweenTransilvania and Splendid cultivars (commongenitor Black rose)
Fertilizări radiculare vs fertilizări foliare şi impactul acestora asupra compoziţiei chimice a plantelor, la o cultura de tomate
The use of fertilizers correctly involves analyzing and determining the factors that condition their effect. The doses, certain stress factors, the biological features of crops, pedo-climatic conditions, the level of agri-technics applied and, last but not least, the farming system are factors that influence the level of production. The tomatoes, especially the very productive varieties, respond differently to the doses and the range of fertilizers used. The paper presents a fertilization study, in a site belonging to a family association, located in Sorogari, Iasi County. The results obtained confirm the agronomic efficiencyof foliar fertilizations and combined root and foliar fertilization. During the experience, the chemical composition of tomato plants is clearly influenced by the combination of the two types of fertilizations, radicular and foliar. The production is maximum and is at the same quantitative level, equally in Borviso 500 and also18-46 (300 kg.ha)+Borviso 500, on differentiatedfertilized plot
Studies on isolation and susceptibility to antibiotics of the pathogens involved in SCUD etiology of aquatic turtles
The objectives of this study were to isolate and identify the bacteria present in the shell and plastron ulcers in a group of infected turtles compared with healthy turtles, and antibiotic susceptibility testing of bacterial species identified in order to recommend the appropriate treatment. A total number of 32 red-eared slider (Trachemys scripta elegans) with specific septicemic cutaneous ulcerative disease (SCUD) lesions were sampled from the shell and plastron, compared with 8 healthy turtles. Cotton swabs were used for sampling, and the inoculation was carried out on blood agar, XLD, MacConkey and SDA plates. Biochemical characterization used API Biomerieux 20 system. Susceptibility to antibiotics was evaluated using Kirby Bauer disk diffusion method on Mueller-Hinton agar. In the samples from turtles with lesions, predominantly Gram-negative bacteria were isolated, in particular Citrobacter freundii – 16 turtles, Escherichia coli – 13 turtles, Klebsiella – 10 turtles, Serratia – 9 turtles, Shigella – 8 turtles, Salmonella – 6 turtles, plus Gram positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus – 18 turtles, Micrococcus – 11 turtles and Bacillus – 9 turtles. Regarding the group of 8 healthy turtles ratio was significantly in favor of Gram positive, with Staphylococcus – 7 turtles, Micrococcus 6 and Bacillus 4 samples. Regarding the inhibition area diameter for infected turtles, the most efficient antibiotic was Doxycycline with the average value of 15.15 mm, Enrofloxacin with 14.95 mm and Florfenicol with 14.8 mm. Lower efficiency was observed for Ceftriaxone with 4.05mm and Colistin with 7.01 mm
Relationship of bacterial leaf blight disease of cotton with different weather parameters under South Gujarat condition of India
Cotton is a soft, fluffy staple
fiber that grows in a boll, around the seeds
of the cotton plants of the genus Gossypium
in the family Malvaceae. Bacterial blight of
cotton, also know as angular leaf spot, boll
rot, and black leg, is a potentially
destructive bacterial disease of cotton
production. The disease caused by
Xanthomonas campestris pv. malvacearum
(Smith) Dye (synonyms Xanthomonas
malvacearum (E.F. Sm) Dowson) is one of
the most important and serious disease in
cotton crop. Main objective of present
research is to study the progress of the
bacterial blight disease of cotton (BLB),
caused by Xanthomonas campestris pv.
malvacearum (Smith) Dye, with relation to
the environmental parameters. This is a
common disease affecting the growth,
development and yield of cotton. A field
trial was conducted to determine the
influence of environmental factors, viz.
rainfall periods, temperature, sun shine
hours and humidity on the development of
disease. Bacterial blight disease was
recorded with its appearance and
subsequently at weekly interval till it
prevailed on G. Cot. Hy.12 (Non Bt). The
incidence of bacterial blight disease (BLB)
was noticed during 28 to 49th standard week
with the maximum disease intensity in third
week of September (23.5% PDI). None of
the abiotic factors had significant influence
on bacterial blight disease progress and
development
Agriculture financing measures and instruments in the county of Galaţi
In this paper it is analyzed the goal of the agriculture development strategies, within a reasonable and realistic
timeframe, to the high value added generating development model propelled by the interest for knowledge and
innovation, oriented towards the continuous improvement of people's quality of life and of the relations between in
harmony with the natural environment (SNDDR, 2008).
Strategic objectives are set in the short term (Horizon 2013), Environment (Horizon 2015) and Long (Horizon 2020).
In this paper, I will start from the idea that a state's taxation, coupled with other policies, has the potential to guide an
economy's move towards achieving sustainable long-term economic growth. Our premise based on the analysis of the
Romanian economy is that a model of economic growth that is not healthy creates a dangerous spiral that can affect
the economies of the world and the evolution of the Romanian economy through the mechanisms of transmission of
monetary policy.
In the paper, I will focus on identifying and analyzing taxation in Romania to achieve the ultimate goal according to
the specifications of my own economy.
The purpose of this paper is to investigate how taxation affects macroeconomic stability, as well as the factors that
might interfere with this issue. The degree of damage to the world's economies depends on the vulnerabilities of each
economy and their exposure to toxic assets. The way in which the crisis responds depends on the fundamental
principles we believe in, the resources available, the institutions and instruments that we can use

The relevance of a digital system based on nanop particles biosensors in assessing the antioxidant potential of some foods
Image analysis is a highly topical and perspective method in biomedical research and practice that underlies the development of portable tests for the autonomous detection of external energy sources outside the laboratory. The purpose of this paper is to implement a new method of detecting antioxidants in food, based on digital image acquisition and processing, using an experimental device with a paper-based biochemical sensor, marked with silver nanoparticles. The research consisted of evaluating the antioxidant potential of some teas (no = 5) and commercial red wines (no = 5), using the LabVIEW device and the LabVIEW graphical programming environment for data processing in linear 3D regression, referencing the RGB spatial vector. The results obtained in the testing of tea and red wine varieties had the following hierarchy regarding their antioxidant concentration (expressed in μg / mL gallic equivalents): Twinings traditional afternoon black tea (10.945); Lipton Green Tea (20.450); Lipton forest fruit tea (20.450); Fares forest fruit tea (29.956); Green Tea Earl Gray (34.708) or Recaş wine (15.698); Pinot Noir Folonari wine (15.698); Chateau Malpere wine (20.450); Cabernet Souvignon wine and Fetească Neagră wine (25.203). In conclusion, we appreciate the great outlook of this fast and cheap method, which can be accessed through software installed on your laptop or smartphone, allowing you to read the result with one click, including by non-experts
Comportarea în pepinieră a unor specii pomicole cu valoare ornamentală ridicată
Different ornamental characters, habitus, color, texture, given the adaptability of the various species to the site-specific environmental conditions, are the starting point for the choice ofspecies for landscaping. Thus, it appears the opportunity to use a planting material well suited to the conditions of our country that create a sustainable ornamental effect. In the present paper we’ve studied the compatibility in grafting of ornamental fruit species grafted on different rootstocks and the behavior of the material in the nursery. Two grafting methods were tested: chip budding and grafting in 'T' with sleeping buds. For each of the five species studied, two types of rootstocks were used. For Prunus serrulata Kanzan Lindl. mahaleb rootstocks and wild cherry were used. Prunus cerasifera Pisardii Ehrh. was grafted on mirobolan and ‘Roşior văratic’. And the species Malus baccata Borkh., Malus golden hornet Rehder. and Malus purpureea Rehd. were grafted on Malus sylvestris Mill and vegetative type MM 106
The prophylaxis of chalkbrood in bees by laboratory methods - microscopic testing of pollen
The purpose of this study was to monitor the load of Ascosphera apis spores in honey and pollen samples and to evaluate the pertinence of the method in the prophylaxis of Ascosphera apis infestation by eliminating contaminated sources used in bee fed. We investigated 8 apiaries for a period of 2 years at the end of the active bee season, the collected samples consisting in pollen (39 samples) and pollen supplimentary foods (7 samples). The samples were processed and tested for spores of Ascosphera apisthrough the method OIE/2008, adapted for samples of pollenandpollen supplimentary foods. The samples originated from apiaries suspected of nosema disease. Within the lot with pollen samples (46 samples), a number of 39 pollen samples belonging to the 4 dominant floral categories in Romania (polifloral, rape, sun-flower, linden) were chosen in order to determine the infestation level with Ascosphera apis spores. Most of the Ascosphera apis spores positive samples were represented by the rape and sunflower pollen samples. Tests evidenced the presence of Ascosphera apisspores in 22 samples of pollen and pollen supplimentary foods of the total of 45 examined samples during the monitoring process. The tests made on bee samples collected at the end of the beekeeping season, by comparison to the ones collected in the beginning of the following season, demonstrated a significant reduction in the infestation degree (30.43%) in bees by eliminating from consumption the sources of infestation (pollen supplimentary foods and pollen) in the winter season. Testing before the inactive season for Ascosphera apis spores in the reserve honey and pollen represents an important prophylactic method against Ascosphera apis infestation in bees
