Contribuţii la cunoaşterea entomofaunei de coleoptere din plantaţiile pomicole de măr
The observations have been made in a fruit tree orchards owned by the Society S.C. Loturi Service SRL Deleşti,Vaslui country, Romania. The several varieties of apple are grown within this company: Golden delicious, Idared, Wagner, etc.The Barber soil traps were used to collect the biological material, and they functioned continuously from May to September or even October in 2017six traps were used for each experimental variant. The experimental variants were set up, depending on the existing vegetal carpet . The samples were harvested at intervals of 7-14 days when we changed the fixing fluid, were filled in, or, if it was necessary it was replaced. The collected species were cleansed from all plant debris, other impurities and then separately selected coleopteran species, which by means of the determiners boocks were identified. The structure, dynamics and abundance of coleopteran species were then determined according to each experimental variant. The species of thecoleopters, more frequently collected were: Dermestes laniarius Ill. Harpalus calceatus, Harpalus distinguendus, Amara eurynota, Phyllotreta nemorum, Opatrum sabulosum andOmias rotundus, etc
Cercetări privind eficienţa energetică a ecosistemului agricol sub influenţa măsurilor agrotehnice la cultura de porumb
Against the background of global warming, increasing pollution levels and requirements for limiting the use of fossil fuels, demand for biomass has increased. For testing the energy efficiency of the agro ecosystem in the Experimental Farm of the Moara Domneasca, Găneasa, Ilfov County, a bifactorial experience has been achieved in which Factor A = Nitrogen Fertilization Level (N) and Factor B = Irrigation Level. Increasing the level of nitrogen fertilization (N) on the same phosphorus soil conditionshas led to statistical gains of both the main production of grain production, thus maintaining land use for agricultural production, as well as secondary production that has potential for use as biofuel. The increase in the level of irrigation (a2, a3) led to a very significant increase of the grain yields (kg / ha) and of the biomass production. Analyzing the economic efficiency of the ecosystem under the influence of the technological measures, it is noted the significant increase of all economic indicators compared to unfertilized (b1) or non-irrigated (a1) control, increases are proportional to the applied nitrogen dose and watering standard
Evaluarea unor soiuri de cireş amar obţinute la S.C.D.P. Iaşi
The aim of the paper is to present the valuable features of bitter cherry cultivars obtained at RSFG Iasi, that improve the cultivars’ assortment with different maturation ages of the fruits sequenced all over the cherries’ maturation season. In terms of fruit’s weight (g) and equatorial diameter (mm), the cultivars Amaris (5.1 g and 21.1 mm) and Amar Galata (4.1 g and 18.0 mm) got remarked statistically during the five years. They recorded very significant differences and distinct positive significant differences in comparison with the witness cultivar Silva (3.0 g and 15.8 mm). For the stone’s size, the cultivars recorded a weight between 0.25-0.33 g, recording very negatively significant differences (Amar Maxut with 0.25 g) and negatively distinct significant differences (Amaris with 0.26 g) in comparison with the cultivar Silva as control (0.33 g). Regarding the fruits’ resistance to cracking, Amar Maxut (0.3%), Amaris (0.3%) and Amar Galata (3.3%) present a resistance superior to the control cultivar Silva (4.1%
Species of medicinal plants in the Berheci river basin
The Berheci River is an important tributary of the Bârlad River. The Berheci hydrographical basin is part of the Central Moldavian Plateau, the subunit of Tutova Hills. The purpose of this paper is to record the medicinal species, especially the least well-known in the territory of this basin, which can be a potential source for obtaining of pharmaceutical products. The identified species were seen from the point of view of the medical importance based on the bibliography. The studied medicinal species grow in phytocoenoses of the forest and the grass and are often considered unwanted
plants in these habitats. 53 species of medicinal importance belonging to 24 botanical families have been identified. The Asteraceae, Brassicaceae and Lamiaceae families have been noted for the greater number of species. The complex chemical composition of plant organs used for medicinal purposes confers multiple therapeutic actions on them. Among the species with less known medicinal potential include: Ballota nigra, Lamium purpureum, Onopordon achanthium, Prunella vulgaris, Stellaria media, Tribulus terestris
Influenta schimbarilor climatice probabile asupra fenofazelor de vegetatie la soiul Merlot înpodgoria Dealu Bujorului
The development of vegetation and fructification phenophases in vine is determined by the cumulative action of daily average temperatures exceeding the value of 10ºC, a value that is considered a biological threshold for vine. In the climatic conditions of the last few years a random evolution of the amount of active and useful temperature levels necessary to trigger the phenological stages was observed. The research was carried out during 2008-2017 on the Merlot variety in the experimental field of the Research and Development Station for Viticultural and Winemaking Bujoru. The main objective of the paper is to establish the active and useful thermal balance necessary for the development of the vegetation phenophases and the determination of the trend of their evolution. There is a slight tendency to increase the active temperature for budburst and ripening phenophases and a decreasing pronounced trendfor the flowering and harvesting phenophases
Studiu spectrofotometric al efectelor metalelor grele în sângele animal
n order to obtain information on the alteration of blood structure in the presence of heavy metals, mercury and lead, the modification of the absorption maxima of oxyhemoglobin was analyzed. Blood samples were collected from three healthy animal species: cows, horses and dogs. For the samples, 20 ml of 5% HgCl2and Pb(NO3)2solution and 0.5 ml of blood from each species have been prepared. The obtained experimental results have shown that heavy metals affect certain biophysical characteristics of hemoglobin in the blood of the studied animals. The strongest effect has been obtained in the case of mercury, which is the most toxic heavy metal; for the horse blood sample at the wavelength of 410 nm, the absorption measurement gave an error, indicating that the sample was severely degraded
The associated effect of ameliorative works and soil tillage on the field capacity of soils from complex slope land of Ursului Valley, Iasi county
The purpose of this study is to establish the associated effect of ameliorative works and soil tillage on the field capacity
and on water distribution of the main soil units represented by cambic (i), cambic-coluvic (ii) and cambic-clinogleic (iii)
Chernozems. The study of the capacity of soils to retain water was carried out on a slope with North-Eastern exposure
of the Ezareni farm from geomorphological unit of Rolling Jijia Field where the mean annual temperature is 9,5 oC and
the mean annual precipitation is 544 mm. Soil samples were taken in the spring and summer of 2018. The first soil
sampling was done immediately after the snow was melted, from 10 cm to 10 cm and on the depth range 0-100 cm. Soil
samples were taken from the plowed strips of ground and strips of grass. During this period, it is considered that the soil
moistening takes place up to the level of the field capacity, and losses of water through direct evaporation to the soil
surface are insignificant. Soil sampling was also done during summer, one month before harvesting of sunflower. Study
of soil water distribution at the end of vegetation is useful for highlighting the lateral movement of water and hence the
heterogeneity of improved soil units. The main criteria of sampling sites selection were based on the slope category of
the land. The obtained analytical data showed that under the same climatic characteristics, soils from slope land retain a
smaller amount of water than those found on flat or low slopes lands. The data analysis revealed that following the
processing of the obtained results it was seen as the retention of the water in the soil was influenced by the land use and
soil characteristics such as soil texture and state of compaction. Two or more water accumulation peaks recorded on soil
profiles are well correlated with the changes of size particles of soil horizons and lithological deposits
Eficienţa îndepărtării ionilor de Zn(II) din medii apoase prin biosorbţie pe diferite tipuri de deşeuri de biomasă
In this study was analyzed the ability of three types of waste biomass for removal of Zn(II) from aqueous solution. The three types of biosorbents that havebeen used in experiments are:sawdust, mustard waste and soybeanwaste. These materials, which are waste from various branches of industry, can be used to remove metal ions from aqueous solutions, thus helping to reduce environmental pollution. The results for the influence of initial Zn(II) ions concentration and contact time on the removal efficiency from aqueous media were modelled using two isotherm models (Langmuir and Freunlich) and two kinetics models(pseudo-first order model and pseudo-second order model). The evaluation of biosorptive potential of these three types of waste biomasses in the removal processes of Zn(II) ions from aqueous solution was performed using the parameters obtained from the modellin
Modelarea degradarilor erozionale pe versanti folosind tehnica GIS
This study presents the GIS techniques referring to the modelling of the process of degradation by erosion of the territory in the hydrological basin of Romania. On a surface of 4697 ha, the relief is strongly fragmented, presenting relief energy of around 395 m with averages slopes over 15%. The slopes are affected by the erosion and by the active sliding. The choice for this hydrographic basin is motivated also by the fact that there was the possibility of the validation of the results obtainedby the simulation, comparing them with the measurements of the alluvial deposits in the lakes accumulation situated at the exit of the receiving basin. In our project, the geo-characteristic dates are represented as layers. This facilitated the analysis ofthe spatial variables and the distribution of the objects on the surfaces studied and the overall analysis of the information obtained, that supposes the simultaneous approach of more layers could be realized using the "overlay" technique. Along the application we used a module of software ArcGIS specialized for the operations with digital maps and of the large databases. The mathematical model used to determine the damage of the soil is based on the RUSLE (Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation) equation under the usual form from Romania. The results are presented in the form of digital thematic maps
Effect of last cutting dates on seed production of multicut MB-87 – a variety of pearl millet, Pennisetum Glaucum (Bajra)
Pearl millet (Pennisetum
glaucum) is considered an important kharif
crop, which is grown extensively in the
arid and semi-arid tropical regions, where
other crops, like sorghum and maize, fail to
produce economic yields. Its grains are
valued as human food, while its dry stover
makes significant livestock ration in croplivestock
farming system. Pearl millets
(MB-87), a newly developed variety of
Fodder Research Institute, Sargodha,
Pakistan, is one of the best pearl millet
variety, which gives more than one cutting
and helps to cope with fodder lean period,
as well as more income can be generated in
addition to seed. So, overcome the scarcity
period the study was conducted to check the
effect of last cutting dates on seed
production of multicut pearl millet MB-87
was conducted at Fodder Research Institute,
Sargodha, Pakistan, during 2015 and 2016.
Following parameters were taken in to
consideration, i.e. plant height (cm), stem
thickness (cm), number of leaves per tiller,
number of tillers per plant, green fodder
yield (t/ha), length of head (cm), 1000
grains weight (g) and grain yield (kg/ha).
The results depicted that grain yield, i.e.
319.20, was maximum and head length was
highest, i.e. 35.13 cm on 20th of August
having last date of cut, whereas all others
parameters were found to be nonsignificant.
Multicut bajra gives three
cutting of fodder, followed by seed, as
compared with conventional bajra, which
gives only one cutting or seed. Therefore, it
is more economical for the growers of
fodders to grow the pearl millets MB-87 as
fodder, as well as for seed purposes. So, it is
concluded that for gaining maximum grain
yield of multicut pearl millet MB-87 the last
cutting date should be 20th of August. In
future, pearl millet is likely to play a larger
role in providing food and nutritional
