Traceability - an important step in food safety
Traceability is a topical issue used in the food processing industry, ensuring the economic operator the safety of purchasing raw materials from the external and internal market for their transformation into safe food products that reach the consumer's table. Traceability also emphasizes customer brand protection requirements. Traceability and withdrawal procedures are currently the most important in every segment of the food industry, as it must be ensured that their traceability efforts are at the highest standard to protect the brand image on the market. These growing requirements are pushing food processors to maintain traceability upstream and downstream in the supply chain. Given the expansion of the global market and the speed with which goods move around the world, it is understandable that the authorities are increasingly concerned with developing rules on traceability. There are priority approaches in the field of food, which have the greatest impact on consumers, given the frequency of consumption and the imperative nature of
the need for food. , respectively: European Food Safety Authority - EFSA (Europe) and the National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority - ANSVSA (Romania) [12,13]
Sunflower genotypes from NARDI Fundulea in field infestation with broomrape in Braila area, in year 2019
In south-east of Romania is present the most dangerous races of parasite Orobanche cumana and because of that, who want to cultivated sunflower hybrids, has low seed yield do to broomrape attack. In year 2019, in Braila area, in sunflower fields natural infested with the new races of broomrape from Romania, we tested many sunflower genotypes
for resistance/tolerance to this parasite. We want to identifying sunflower genotypes who are resistant/tolerant to broomrape present in Brăila area and from 20 sunflower experimental hybrids tested in natural infested field in three epochs, no one was resistant at broomrape attack. The highest intensity of broomrape attack was in epoch I who was
sowing on date May 3, 2019 and sunflower hybrid H2 has 520 broomrape\44 sunflower plants. The lowest intensity of broomrape attack was in epoch II who was sowing on date May 17, 2019 and sunflower hybrid H19 has 40 sunflower plants\13 broomrapes. Sunflower hybrid H17 has a better tolerance at broomrape then other 19 sunflower hybrids tested in field with natural infestation with parasite Orobanche cumana, from Brăila area, Romania where is present races G and H. Regarding plant height of sunflower hybrids tested, was between 90 cm (H10) and 135 cm (H6) in first epoch
and between 145 cm (H2) and 200 cm (H9) in the second epoch
Bioremediarea şi fitoremediarea solului contaminat cu pesticide: studiu microbiologic
The paper is focused on screening of the approaches to remediate the soil, complex contaminated by obsolete persistent organic pesticides: DDTs and trifluralin. The aim was to increase the biodegradation rates by activation of indigenous soil microflora with mineral and organic amendments. The experiment was carried out in oxic conditions, and cycled anoxic and oxic conditions, with phytoremediation applied afterwards. The effectiveness of the bioremediation procedures for soil microbiota along with degradation of pesticides was discussed. Microbiological analysis of soil at the final of experiments demonstrated the necessity of phytoremediation for soil microflora recovery
The effect of priming on germination characteristics of barley seeds under drought stress conditions
Seed priming methods have been used to increase germination and seedling establishment under different abiotic stress conditions. Seed priming was used in barley to increase seed germination and tolerance on stress exposure. Barley seeds were treated with various priming agents for different time and temperatures. The effect of priming
was assessed on germination characteristics on subsequent exposure to drought
(PEG-12 bar) stress for 7 days. Seed priming treatments significantly (p≤ 0.01)
affected germination percentage (GP), normality seedling percentage (NSP), germination Index (GI), germination uniformity (GU), means time to germination (MTG), coefficient of
velocity of germination (CVG), seedling vigor index (SVI) and coefficient of allometry (AC). Seed priming with gibberelic acid (GA), salicylic acid (SA), ascorbic acid (ASc), hydropriming (HP), osmopriming (OP) and combined treatments (CT) significantly (p≤ 0.01) increased germination characteristics, compared to the unprimed. Seed priming
with concentrations 25, 50 ppm of GA for 15 h at 10°C, 25 ppm of SA for 12 h at 10°C, 50 ppm of ASc for 12 h at 15°C, treatment 16 h hydropriming at 10°C and -15 bar PEG for 24 h for osmopriming maybe considered as optimal treatment for priming of barley seeds in drought stress conditions. In some cases, combined treatments are better than the
separate treatments. Seed priming with PEG (potential -l5 bar PEG for 24 h at 10°C) was more effective in drought stress than the other treatments
Modalităţi de utilizare a unor specii dendrologice în compoziţii vegetale pentru garduri vii
For the contouring and highlighting of landscaping, the most appreciated technique is the use of hedges, being also one of the most ornamental methods of delimitation, masking, protection or obtaining privacy within a site. Thus, this plant composition is increasingly addressed in both public parks and private gardens. Hedges are defined by fine, graceful and sinuous lines or statuary and geometrized, made of plant compound of low or imposing heights, and associated with elements such as water, buildings, alleys within the arrangements or even together with other plants. In order to illustrate this concept, in this paper we studied the compatibility of the use of special dendrological genera from an ornamental point of view, whose biological characteristics allow them to be used in compositions such as hedges. For each of the five genres studied, two types of systematization were used, thus being able to determine their sustainability over time
Influenţa particularităţilor biologice ale soiurilor noi introduse de cais din colecţia mondială asupra calităţii fructelor

The object of the research was the apricot trees Wonder Cot, Spring Blush, Magic Cot, Lilly Cot, Pinkcot, Perle Cot, Orange Red, Sweet Cot, Big Red, Kyoto, Faralia and Farbalyvarieties , grafted on the Mirobalan 29C rootstock. It was established that the biological peculiarities of the variety influence on morphological parameters, shape index and redistribution of fruits in various quality classes
State and progress of Andean lupin cultivation in Europe: a review
Lupinus mutabilis is an important source of protein in different Andean countries, and its use in diets, particularly those of less wealthy individuals, has been observed for thousands of years. There is an increasing demand for protein crops suitable for Europe and this species is a potential candidate. Assessment of Lupinus mutabilis genetic material in European conditions started more than 40 years ago, with the characterization of a vast number of accessions from the Andean region. In this review, abiotic and biotic constraints to L. mutabilis cultivation in European soil and climatic conditions are discussed, and cultivation management practices are suggested. The beneficial interaction of L. mutabilis with Bradyrhizobium strains in the soil and various pollinator species is also discussed, and the effect of abiotic stresses on these interactions is highlighted. Prospects of alternative uses of L. mutabilis biomass in Northern Europe and opportunities for breeding strategies are discussed. In conclusion, the different approach to crop modeling for Southern and Northern European climatic conditions is highlighted
Study on the genetic process in the bovine population from Agrora SRL Farm
Achieving higher production of high quality milk and meat with lower costs depends on the
characteristics, characteristics and characteristics of the animals exploited. Therefore, the level of
animal production depends on its genetic potential and the degree of its manifestation, under the
influence of environmental factors that may be favorable or inhibitory.
The purpose of this paper was to assess the genetic process in the performance of the population
of Aubrac in which the characters were followed birth weight, weight at 200 days and 365 days.
The research was carried out over a period of 3 years, the number of products analyzed
annually being 60 as follows: in 2016 30 females and 30 males, in 2017 29 females and 31 males
and in 201829 females and 31 males
The characterisation of grapevine varieties for wines in the context of climate change in the Valea Călugareasca viticultural area
Climate change is a reality today and a challenge because the effects need to be evaluated and identified over time.
Although it was acclimatized over times in different viticultural climates, grapevine is a plant which has its optimal
limits in physiological meaning. The researches were carried out in the Valea Călugărească viticultural center within
seven viticultural plantations with the varieties Olivia, Negru aromat, Mamaia, Feteasca neagra 4 Vl, Columna, Grasa
de Cotnari 4 Pt. In the last 30 years, the climate has changed in the sense that the thermal regime has increased on the
background of an unevenly distributed and deficient pluviometric regime, during the vegetation period of the vine. The
vegetation period (April) begins with higher average temperatures than the multiannual average (12.6oC compared to
11.2oC) and a high-water regime (74.8 l/square meter compared to 52.0 l/square meter), compared to the multiannual
averages. There were registered, also, years with hot summers which significantly influenced the grapevine. During hot
summers, vine phenology has changed in that way in which the period between two phenophases was shortened greatly.
Also, grapevine evolved under conditions of heat and hydric stress
Community implications on Romanian agriculture in the context of The European Union's sustainable development strategy
Sustainable development - a development model that seeks to ensure a balance between economic growth, quality of
life and environmental conservation in the medium and long term, so as to meet the needs of the current generation
without compromising the ability to meet the needs of future generations - has represented decades, the guideline that
has underpinned development policies, programs and strategies. The issue of the mechanisms of financial support for
Romania's agriculture is very important in our country's efforts to become competitive on the European agricultural
market. However, the peculiarities of Romanian agriculture remain almost similar to the pre-accession period
(fragmented agrarian structures, low technical and economic yields, outdate technical endowment, etc.), and the main
question is whether community support mechanisms increase or remain Romanian farm performance, support
measures to ensure their survival on the market. The paper highlights the regional development strategies of the NorthEast Region, solutions to improve the process of strategic implementation of development objectives, by providing
viable tools for monitoring sustainable development at regional and rural level, eliminating their oversizing trends. The
target indicators proposed by this paper and their rationale allow such a realistic and correct estimation of the strategic
implementation and the measurement of the impact of the strategic objectives. In this context, we consider that
proposed and substantiated result indicators starting from the previous trend of the region, for all strategic priorities
2014-2020, can be much better materialized in projects with major impact on sustainable development both at regional
level and the rural environment, and the way of their evaluation and estimation represents a viable methodology for
monitoring the regional development strategies
