Mapping the unmet informational needs of young Portuguese female cancer survivors: Psychometric validation of a multidimensional scale
Background/Objectives: Young female cancer survivors often face specific informational needs related to the physical and emotional effects of cancer and its impact on life plans, particularly fertility and parenthood. However, few tools are tailored to assess these needs during this critical life stage. This study aimed to (i) validate a multidimensional measure—the Satisfaction with Information Provided to Young Oncology Patients Scale (SIPYF-CPS)—to assess the specific informational needs of young adult female cancer survivors; and (ii) explore preferences regarding the provision of information and counseling. Methods: A total of 124 women (M[age] = 38.18; SD = 5.49; range 21–45), 76.6% diagnosed with breast cancer, participated in the study. Psychometric analyses included exploratory factor analysis and correlation coefficients to assess reliability and construct validity. Convergent validity was evaluated through standardized measures of anxiety, reproductive concerns, and quality of life. Results: A final 22-item measure demonstrated strong reliability and validity, capturing four factors: (i) Disease-Related Information, (ii) Symptoms and Functional Limitations, (iii) Implications for Fertility and Parenthood, and (iv) Support Services. Participants expressed low satisfaction with information on fertility preservation, sexual health, and support services. Lower satisfaction was moderately associated with higher anxiety and depression while positively related to quality of life. Most participants preferred phased, face-to-face communication throughout the illness trajectory. Conclusions: The SIPYF-CPS is a valid, multidimensional tool that captures the complex and evolving informational needs of young female cancer survivors. Its clinical use may promote earlier, personalized, and emotionally responsive communication—supporting psychological well-being, informed decision-making, and long-term survivorship care
competitivo, inovador e altamente volátil, tornando o marketing interno e a satisfação e
Todas as restantes
The current scenario of organizations relies in a dynamic, competitive, innovative, and
highly volatile environment, making internal marketing, job satisfaction, and happiness
game-changing variables on institutions. In the scope of this study, we will analyse the
impact of internal marketing on job satisfaction and happiness among employees of the
Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Vila Verde. We aim to contribute for the improvement of
its existing model and to pursue advancements on the scientific knowledge in this field.
We employed a quantitative research methodology, harnessing data from a survey,
later being processed using SPSS.
After examining results, we concluded a strong positive relationship between internal
marketing policies and job satisfaction and happiness of employees at the Santa Casa
da Misericórdia de Vila Verde. On the other hand, we could notice a negative validation
of implemented internal marketing policies. Moreover, major differences between
constructs of internal marketing averages and constructs of employee satisfaction and
happiness averages were observed. Regarding variable correlation, we found that only
constructs of internal marketing such as vision, development, rewarding,
empowerment, and internal communication had low positive impact on staff associates,
as all the remaining, both internal marketing and employee satisfaction and happiness,
exhibited medium and high positive impacts among the employees of the Santa Casa
da Misericórdia de Vila Verde.
In this context, the main contributions of the research suggest that there is a positive
validation of employee satisfaction, motivation and happiness, and there is no positive
validation of internal marketing policies

Means and methods of naval warfare
Armed conflicts at sea present challenges due to a complex interplay of regulations from conventional and customary sources. These rules intersect with those of the law of the sea and international humanitarian law (IHL) creating a nuanced framework . The law of naval warfare is a subset of international humanitarian law that governs conduct in international armed conflict, prohibiting excessive harm and the targeting of civilian populations. IHL generally prohibits means and methods that cause excessive injury or unnecessary suffering. The parties involved in an armed conflict do not have unlimited rights to choose their methods and means of warfare. Therefore, certain types of weapons are prohibited, and the use of other weapons is restricted

dados: PubMed, Scopus, ProQuest e Web of Science, seguindo as diretrizes da
This dissertation aims to analyze the historical, legal and constitutional evolution of no-consent divorce in the legal systems of Brazil and Portugal, focusing on the role of constitutional principles and international human rights treaties. The research is based on the understanding that the possibility of unilaterally dissolving a marriage reflects deep changes in how family and personal relationships are regulated by law, especially with regard to autonomy and human dignity. In Brazil, Constitutional Amendment No. 66 of 2010 removed the previous requirements for separation, while in Portugal, Law No. 61 of 2008 introduced a more objective and less blame-focused approach to divorce proceedings.
Using a comparative legal methodology, the study explores the similarities and differences between the two countries, with particular attention to the effects of no-consent divorce on the rights of vulnerable individuals, such as minor children and economically dependent spouses. The research also highlights the importance of mediation as a tool to foster more balanced and peaceful solutions. In conclusion, the recognition of no-consent divorce as an individual and unconditional right marks a significant step in the constitutionalization of Family Law, reinforcing the protection of fundamental rights and adapting legal institutions to the realities of modern families
Charting Resource Efficiency Practices Across European Firms: A Multilevel Analysis
The circular economy (CE) is a key sustainability paradigm, prompting European Union (EU) organizations and policy makers to move beyond linear production and consumption models. The study aimed to assess the implementation patterns of nine CE activities among EU companies and to explore how the implementation of these CE activities relates to certain firm-level characteristics. A multilevel latent class model was employed in a sample of 13,084 companies across the 27 EU Member States. The study reveals significant variation in the implementation of CE activities across countries and companies, identifying five distinct company classes ranging from those with no CE adoption to those that are advanced adopters, with all nine activities. It also identifies six geographically dispersed country groups, each with a unique composition of companies based on their CE engagement. Furthermore, companies with higher CE implementation are typically larger, despite the sample being predominantly comprised of micro and small enterprises, older (having been established for over 7 years), and reporting higher annual turnover. These firms also tend to invest a smaller proportion of their turnover in resource efficiency measures. This study advances circular economy research by integrating the resource-based view and dynamic capabilities theory, demonstrating that sustained CE implementation requires both valuable resources and the dynamic ability to reconfigure them in response to changing contexts. It also reveals significant variations in CE adoption across EU regions and firms, advocating for tailored,sector-specific policies and practical measures, such as financial incentives for SMEs and enhanced managerial training, to drive sustainable transitions
