O ensino da função seno com base em sons musicais
Get PDFIn Ancient Greece, music and mathematics were considered pillars of knowledge. It was in the 6th century BC that the first record of the relationship between these pillars appeared, in the so-called quadrivium. Over time, this relationship became closer, and today it can be established and studied at school. Knowing the relationship between music and mathematics can be a positive factor for teachers who teach trigonometric functions. In this sense, the present work aims to investigate the curve outline of the sine trigonometric function, in order to establish relationships with musical sounds, starting from a simplified mathematical model applied in GeoGebra. To this end, the Global Figural Interpretation Theory, proposed by the Theory of Semiotic Representation Registers (TRRS), is used. As a result, it is possible to recognize and understand the interference of the sine function parameters in sound production, as well as the direction of these parameters in the sound wave, particularly in the case of the musical note MI.Na Grécia Antiga, a música e a matemática eram consideradas pilares do conhecimento. Foi no século VI a.C que surgiu o primeiro registro da relação existente entre estes pilares, no chamado quadrivium. Com o passar dos tempos, esta relação foi se estreitando, e hoje ela pode ser estabelecida e estudada no âmbito escolar. Conhecer a relação entre música e matemática pode ser um fator positivo para o professor que ensina funções trigonométricas. Nesse sentido, o presente trabalho tem como objetivo investigar o esboço de curva da função trigonométrica seno, de modo a estabelecer relações com sons musicais, partindo de um modelo matemático simplificado aplicado no GeoGebra. Para tal, utiliza-se a Teoria de Interpretação Global Figural, proposta pela Teoria dos Registros de Representação Semiótica (TRRS). The research question is: does the theoretical approach between Nancy Fraser and Judith Butler contribute to the structuring of a theory of emancipatory justice for the different female identities that mark the woman category? No full textThe spread of digital platforms as arenas for diverse social relations prompts debate surrounding the regulation of these environments, in contrast to the proposition of absolute freedom of expression. This text argues that this discussion has been conducted from a reductionist perspective, considering only the text of the post, disregarding other equally relevant elements of the digital ecosystem that can interfere in the construction of the message. The research presented here developed from a dialectical approach; regarding its objective, it employs a descriptive and exploratory method. By deepening the understanding of the relationship between communication and the environment in which it develops, the text identifies the mechanisms currently used in response to abusive or unwanted messages, and then proposes minimum components to be considered in a regulatory framework intended to be effective in disciplining pathological behaviors in the exercise of individual expression.A irradiação de plataformas digitais como arena de relações sociais diversas propõe o debate em torno da regulação destes ambientes, em contraste com a proposição de liberdade de expressão absoluta. O texto sustenta que essa discussão tem se travado a partir de uma visão reducionista do problema, que tem em conta tão-somente o texto da comunicação, desconsiderando outros elementos igualmente relevantes do ecossistema digital que podem interferir na construção da mensagem. A pesquisa aqui retratada se desenvolveu a partir de uma abordagem dialética; quanto ao seu objetivo, ela se desenvolve com a aplicação do método descritivo e exploratório. Aprofundando a compreensão da relação entre comunicação e o ambiente em que ela se desenvolve, o texto identifica os mecanismos hoje utilizados como reação às mensagens abusivas ou indesejadas, para depois propor componentes mínimos a serem considerados numa matriz regulatória que se pretenda efetiva na disciplina de comportamentos patológicos no exercício da expressão individual
Demarcação de terras indígenas no Supremo Tribunal Federal e a decolonização do conceito de posse
No full textOne of the most impactful cases for decolonization efforts and transformative changes in the Brazilian constitutional structure can be observed in the Constitutional Court’s rulings on the protection of Indigenous lands and the debate over the existence of a marco temporal (time frame) capable of defining the period that would justify the displacement of traditional peoples and the alienation of their lands for colonization purposes. This research aims, based on the principles and interpretations established by the Federal Supreme Court, to analyze the break with the historical tradition of occupation and regulation of Indigenous lands, beginning by distinguishing the notion of Indigenous land possession from the concept of possession derived from the Germanic-Roman legal tradition. In this sense, it highlights the use of argumentative models grounded in theoretical frameworks and judicial decisions primarily developed in Brazil, thus breaking with the tradition of relying on foreign citations and precedents, and demonstrating the need to limit, through transconstitutionalism, a new instrument of hegemonic domination. According to the understanding of the Supreme Court, the lands occupied by traditional peoples are the permanent possession of these communities, and they hold the right to the usufruct of the resources of the soil, rivers, and lakes existing therein. This represents the recognition of a form of legal pluralism that is typically decolonial and endemic.Um dos casos de maior impacto para ações de decolonização e mudanças transformadoras na estrutura constitucional brasileira se observa com os julgamentos pela Corte Constitucional sobre a proteção de terras indígenas e a discussão sobre a existência de marco temporal capaz de definir o período apto a justificar o banimento dos povos tradicionais e a alienação para fins de colonização. Esta pesquisa pretende, a partir dos fundamentos e entendimentos proferidos pelo Supremo Tribunal Federal, analisar o rompimento com a tradição de ocupação e normatização das terras indígenas, a começar por distinguir a noção de posse de terras indígenas da noção de posse proveniente da tradição germânico-romana. Destaca-se, nesse sentido, o uso de modelos de argumentação com fundamentos em marcos teóricos e decisões judiciais majoritariamente produzidos no Brasil, rompendo igualmente com a tradição de uso de citações e julgados estrangeiros, mostrando a necessidade de limitar, por meio do transconstitucionalismo, um novo instrumento de dominação hegemônica. Segundo o entendimento da Suprema Corte, as terras ocupadas pelos povos tradicionais são de posse permanente dessa comunidade, sendo seu direito o usufruto das riquezas do solo, dos rios e lagos ali existentes, o que importa em um reconhecimento de pluralismo jurídico tipicamente decolonial e endêmico
Pirâmides etárias em sala de aula: uma proposta geo/demográfica com alunos do 8° ano do ensino fundamental
Get PDFThis paper presents a didactic proposal developed with an 8th-grade class from a private school in Porto Alegre/RS, aiming to bring demographic content closer to students’ daily lives through the construction of population pyramids. The activity was organized into five stages, combining theory and practice, from an initial discussion on population diversity to the analysis of population pyramids at different scales. The sequence fostered the understanding of demographic concepts, the development of reading and graphic representation skills, and critical reflection on population processes and their socio-spatial implications. The results indicate that the activity helped make the concepts more concrete and meaningful, stimulated student protagonism, and strengthened critical and civic education. It is concluded that pedagogical practices integrating experiential and conceptual content expand the possibilities for meaningful learning in Geography.El presente texto presenta una propuesta didáctica desarrollada con una clase de 8º grado de Educación Primaria de una escuela privada de Porto Alegre/RS, con el objetivo de acercar los contenidos de la demografía al cotidiano de los estudiantes mediante la construcción de pirámides de edad. La actividad se organizó en cinco momentos, articulando teoría y práctica, desde la discusión inicial sobre la diversidad poblacional hasta el análisis de pirámides de edad en diferentes escalas. La secuencia favoreció la comprensión de conceptos demográficos, el desarrollo de habilidades de lectura y representación gráfica y la reflexión crítica sobre los procesos poblacionales y sus implicaciones socioespaciales. Los resultados indican que el trabajo contribuyó a hacer los conceptos más concretos y significativos, estimulando el protagonismo estudiantil y fortaleciendo la formación crítica y ciudadana. Se concluye que las prácticas pedagógicas que integran vivencias y contenidos conceptuales amplían las posibilidades de un aprendizaje significativo en Geografía.O presente texto apresenta uma proposta didática desenvolvida com uma turma do 8º ano do Ensino Fundamental de uma escola privada de Porto Alegre/RS, com o objetivo de aproximar os conteúdos da demografia ao cotidiano dos estudantes por meio da construção de pirâmides etárias. POR UMA AGENDA PÚBLICA E POLÍTICA DE SUPORTE AO LUTO NO BRASIL: For a public and political agenda of bereavement support in Brazil
Get PDFThe present article is a theoretical-analytical essay that aims to contribute to reflections on the logics of bereavement care and the challenges of establishing a public and political agenda for grief care in the Brazilian context. The study draws upon theoretical references addressing the characteristics of care, as well as specific regulations at international level. It analyzes how bereavement care is understood through preventive and psychiatric frameworks, linking the actions of the public health sector and the community. In Brazil, the topic of grief care is an emerging issue, with laws and specific initiatives developed at the municipal and state levels. The article presents five key aspects for a public and political agenda on bereavement care: The creation of health-promoting environments and the strengthening of support networks; the reinforcement of community action centered on the right to public mourning; the implementation of health-oriented public policies and grief support guidelines; the reorientation of the health system toward comprehensive and integrative care for bereaved individuals; and the development of competencies and educational initiatives on grief.O presente artigo apresenta um panorama exploratório sobre os desafios de uma agenda de suporte ao luto no cenário brasileiro. Consultaram-se referências teóricas sobre o suporte ao luto e suas características e diretrizes específicas no âmbito internacional. O suporte ao luto é visto sob a lógica preventivista e sob o modelo da saúde pública. No Brasil, pode-se delimitar cinco desafios para uma agenda de suporte ao luto: Ambientes favoráveis à vida e ao luto; Ações comunitárias em torno do direito ao luto público; Leis, políticas e diretrizes de suporte ao luto; Cuidado integral à pessoa em luto nas redes de saúde; Habilidades para viver a vida com a educação para o luto
Arquitetura da opacidade: negacionismo, desinformação e erosão do acesso à informação no governo Bolsonaro
Get PDFObjective: This article analyzes how negationist disinformation and public policies of opacity structured an authoritarian information regime in Brazil during the Bolsonaro administration (2019–2022).
Method: The research adopts a qualitative and documentary approach, combining theoretical review on information regimes and denialism with the analysis of normative acts, administrative measures, and official discourses. The methodology included a survey of decrees, provisional measures, and presidential speeches, with emphasis on their effects on institutional transparency. Generative artificial intelligence was used for text revision and final evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of the work.
Results: The main findings reveal the deliberate construction of an "architecture of opacity," consisting of the expansion of secrecy classifications, dismantling of the National Archives, extinction of participatory councils, and the strategic use of digital communication to spread disinformation. The study demonstrates that these actions undermined access to information, weakened institutional memory, and established a truth regime based on doubt and the delegitimization of science.
Conclusions: The primary contribution of this study is to show that denialism functioned as a political technology and structuring language of an authoritarian model of informational governance. By instrumentalizing disinformation and weakening accountability mechanisms, the Bolsonaro government reconfigured the democratic foundations of the right to information in Brazil. Objetivo: Este artigo analisa como a desinformação de tipo negacionista e as políticas públicas de opacidade estruturaram um regime autoritário de informação no Brasil durante o governo Bolsonaro (2019–2022).
Método: A pesquisa adota abordagem qualitativa e documental, articulando revisão teórica sobre regimes de informação e negacionismo à análise de atos normativos, medidas administrativas e discursos oficiais. A metodologia incluiu levantamento de decretos, medida provisória e discursos presidenciais, com ênfase em seus efeitos sobre a transparência institucional. Foi utilizada inteligência artificial generativa para revisão de texto e avaliação final de forças e fraquezas do trabalho.
Resultado: Os principais resultados revelam a construção deliberada de uma arquitetura da opacidade, composta pela ampliação de sigilos, esvaziamento do Arquivo Nacional, extinção de conselhos participativos e uso estratégico da comunicação digital para disseminar desinformação. A pesquisa demonstra que tais ações comprometeram o acesso à informação, enfraqueceram a memória institucional e instauraram um regime de verdade baseado na dúvida e na deslegitimação da ciência.
Conclusões: A principal contribuição do estudo é evidenciar que o negacionismo operou como arma política e linguagem estruturante de um modelo de governo informacional autoritário. Ao instrumentalizar a desinformação e fragilizar os mecanismos de accountability, o governo Bolsonaro reconfigurou as bases democráticas do direito à informação no Brasil
Perturbações e desafios das tecnologias nos processos educativos na contemporaneidade
Get PDFSince the expansion of the use of technologies in educational contexts, taking into account the use of classic technologies and the emergence of new technologies that emerge all the time in digital culture, we are led to recognize their non-neutrality and the ever-present threat of forms of social, colonization through cultural reconfigurations (Feenberg, 2002). While some business groups promote new strategies to increase their profitability with the unprecedented discoveries in relation to the possibilities offered by technologies, a portion of the population lives at the mercy of all this, without access to basic resources. Recently, the development of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools that are easier to use has generated a lot of commotion in the educational community, with a reinforcement of salvationist discourses or a new/old fear of replacing teachers with machines in the educational process. Digital technologies are once again at the center of educational debates, demanding a critical stance from researchers in the field of technology and education. We need to analyze the impacts that these new technologies have on society, on educational contexts and on the way we relate to knowledge. This special issue hopes to broaden the debate on the interactions between technologies and education from a critical perspective, seeking to problematize, analyze and produce knowledge about how digital technologies determine our educational processes, highlighting the polysemies and complexities that emerge from this relationship.Apresentação dos artigos do dossiê Tecnologias digitais e educação: entre perturbações e desafios, publicado no Volume 43, número 4, 2025 da revista Perspectiva
