The root of the word has meanings of “significant, meaningful, revealing, knowing, the word which has secret meaning and important nature”. The semantics has investigated the meaning levels of the word, its layers, and the meanings it gains or loses over time, and it is an analytical study on the key terms of that language as a science. It is so important to search the historical process and the degree of change in the words of the Qur’an like other departments’ terms. It has been used to analyze the concepts of the Qur’an in Turkey in the modern period too. In our study, we have aimed to determine contemporary studies about science and the method of the semantics. We have used some online programs, libraries, encyclopedias, catalogues, databases, books, theses, articles, and other academic studies as means to investigate related works with the semantics while searching the words of “semantic, semantics, semantic meaning, the method of semantic analysis, semantic analysis, semantic determination, the roots and the words related to the roots, relative analysis, concept analysis, concept detection, concept determination.” We have reached that the method of semantic analysis has been preferred to examine the concepts’ meanings and their usage according to the purpose and the necessity of that field in many departments such as Turkish Language and Literature, the commentary of the Qur’an, and other related sciences with the Qur’an, Arabic Language, and Literature, Law, Islamic Jurisprudence, Tafsir, Hadith, Kalam, History of Sects, Philosophy, Islamic Philosophy, Logic, Religious Education. Profit Distribution Mechanism in Islamic Banking Sector: Evidence from Pakistan

The aim of this study is to examine the issue of Profit distribution mechanism in Islamic banks and determine whether or not Profit distribution mechanism in such banks complies with Shari‘ah standards. It focuses on the profit distribution process in Islamic banks as well as the Fiqh modality of contracts used to solicit deposits at Islamic banks. Further, the aim of this article is to see if Islamic banks are capable of managing profit distributions, and if so, what elements are needed to complement this profit distribution management. This article also aimed to explain the phenomenon of profit distribution management, a voluntary initiative spearheaded by Islamic banks that has no immediate counterparts in conventional banks. The evidence gathered in this investigation suggests that Islamic banks may oversee profit distribution. The profits allocated to ordinary saving accountholders should be considered by scholars and Shari‘ah advisors at banks. This is accomplished by establishing a separate pool from fixed deposits and other rate-sensitive deposits. As a result, we will determine the real profit gained by these deposits; otherwise, profit from these tiers is passed on to higher tiers in order to please rate-sensitive depositors. The current study also find that in an ongoing or operating Mudarabah, the Islamic bank has the authority to make the necessary adjustments by crediting the depositor's account with any surplus profit, if any, and by debiting the account if the actual gain is less than the amount already paid to the depositor on account of profit. In order to do this, the depositor must agree to provide the necessary funds in his account in response to the bank's demand. It shows that, while the current profit distribution mechanism in Islamic banks is in line with general Shari‘ah principles and has been accepted by contemporary jurists, there are some loopholes that need to be filled in order to further improve the profit distribution mechanism in Islamic banks. The purpose of this study is to examine the origins and repercussions of the concept of "divine sovereignty," which was central to the narrative and understanding of certain Islamic movements' political aspirations. The study provides insights on the concept of divine sovereignty, which has been used to justify the militancy of a number of Islamist revivalist groups. The scholar investigates the primary concepts utilized by contemporary radical groups, identifying both theoretical underpinnings and conceptual problems in the literature of these movements in their current context. The study traces the origins and intellectual sources of Islamic fundamentalism, while also exposing new flaws in the intellectual tradition of these extreme movements through an analytical and historical lens, presenting texts from proponents and opponents of the concept of divine sovereignty, as well as tracing the concept's evolution throughout Islamic history. &nbsp

The statement of Imam Abdullah bin Mubarark “Isnaad is from the Deen” has been taken by the Muhaddithin to refer to the above importance related to Isaand. Henceforth, it is crucial to keep this in mind when attacking or critiquing any Muslim. Application of Post-Gricean Pragmatic Approach to the English Translation of “The Glorious Quran”

The Quran (the Word of Allah), revealed to Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and is still preserved in its original form. Thus far, efforts have been made to render the meanings of the Quran into English by eminent scholars such as Mohammad Asad, Pickhtall, Ali, Irving, Arberry, and, to name a few. However, the translated texts have also provoked questions about their authenticity regarding their meaning and message. Although translation models grant various options and choices; nonetheless, the task necessitates extreme precision and veracity due to the subject's sensitivity rather than linguistic structures. Hence, it requires the model that reconstructs ST as a new semantic and pragmatic totality in the target language while preserving the tone and message of the original besides the linguistic structuring. Therefore, the target text must meet the standards of textuality to transfer the ST's communicative function. For that to happen, the researchers employ. The Post-Gricean pragmatic approach considers seven standards of textuality discussed in depth by Beaugrande and Dressler (1981), theoretically and linguistically. The present paper aims to probe that English Translation of the Quran can be regarded as Standard Communicative text, conveying its essence and spirit, considering the Post-Gricean pragmatic approach. Second, applying criteria of textuality to the translations of sacred text renders objective and intelligible specifications that ensure the credibility of the translated text, especially the Quran’s Translation. Finally, the study recognises that Translation Approaches/Theories are plausible and relevant for translating sacred texts
