Le bilinguisme comme moyen ou objectif de l'enseignement bilingue? De la (non)conception d'un bilinguisme préexistant
No full textLe contexte sociolinguistique de la Suisse, officiellement plurilingue, est extrêmement complexe. Mises à part les très rares communes officiellement bilingues, son fonctionnement a plus trait à la juxtaposition de communes à fonctionnement monolingue. Entre langues officielles (allemand, français et italien) et langues nationales (les trois précédentes plus le romanche), plurilinguisme constitutionnel et principe de territorialité, le statut accordé aux langues induit des rapports de force qui se traduisent par des rapports ambigus entre ses différentes communautés linguistiques. Malgré une volonté politique affichée de promouvoir le plurilinguisme, dans la pratique, la Suisse ne dispose que de très peu d’écoles proposant un enseignement bilingue systématisé. Nous allons nous pencher sur quelques unes des conceptions qui ont guidé jusqu’alors les modèles d’enseignement bilingue les plus notoires. Nos réflexions à leur égard sont la base du modèle sur lequel nous travaillons actuellement et que nous présenterons dans les grandes lignes
Der Substanzkonsum von trans* Personen aus der Minoritätenstressperspektive
No full textViele trans* Personen sind im bedeutenden Maße Stigmatisierung ausgesetzt und weisen neben einer erhöhten psychischen Belastung einen hohen Substanzkonsum auf. Die Minoritätenstresstheorie verbindet Diskriminierungserfahrungen und psychische Gesundheit von stigmatisierten Minderheiten und kann somit als Erklärungsmodell für den hohen Substanzkonsum von trans* Personen dienen. Der vorliegende Beitrag widmet sich der Darstellung dieses Zusammenhangs und thematisiert nach einer Einleitung in die trans* Terminologie zunächst den aktuellen Forschungsstand zu Substanzkonsum und Minoritätenstress von trans* Personen. Unter Verwendung der Minoritätenstressperspektive werden schließlich Befunde vorgestellt, welche die Verknüpfung zwischen Stigmatisierung, psychischer Belastung und Substanzkonsum von trans* Personen aufzeigen
The Older, the Better? The Role of Hope for the Regulation of Subjective Well-Being Over Life-Span
No full textDespite the increase of theoretical and empirical work on subjective well-being, research addressing the relation between hope and various dimensions of well-being from a life-span approach is still scarce. Based on original data of the Hope-Barometer 2015, this contribution aims at closing some research gaps by focussing on the question on how hope, well-being and age are related, and on how dispositional hope can predict life satisfaction, happiness and meaning in life and explain their variance. Results show a significant age-related increase for all well-being and dispositional hope parameters. Our data confirm furthermore the dominant role of hope for predicting meaning in life and life satisfaction over all age groups. Nonetheless, optimism also has a non-negligible impact on well-being outcomes, essentially for happiness and to a lesser extent for life satisfaction. These insights are not only scientific relevant, but entail important practical implications for designing interventions and psychological education
