No full textProfessional psychotherapists specialized in psychotraumatology have become increasingly important in war and conflict areas where many people are severely mentally traumatized by oppression, persecution and violence. In order to meet people’s needs and help effectively in a long term perspective, future psychotherapists as well as practicing, experienced psychotherapists must fulfill a range of conditions: They must be highly skilled at communicating in social interactions with patients. They must be familiar with fundamental knowledge about mental disorders. Finally, they must be proficient at implementing special intervention approaches and techniques, considering their patients’ cultural background.
This book was produced to contribute to achieving these tasks and goals. It aims at providing help for students as well as for practicing, experienced psychotherapists. It can be seen as an addition to one’s existing knowledge about mental disorders and different psychotherapeutic trauma interventions. Containing various models, a broad selection of exercises and interventions as well as forms and information sheets, it provides both, essential theoretical background knowledge as well as a practical work focus.
Starting with a definition of psychotherapy, it describes different forms of psychotherapy, the therapeutic relationship and aims and goals of psychotherapy with traumatized patients. Furthermore, several mental disorders, specific interventions and exercises are presented. Last but not least, a description of the therapeutic process and instructions on how to write a case formulation are offered
Ephemere Praktiken: Das Forschungsprojekt "The Art Educator’s Walk": Handeln und Haltung von Kunstvermittler*innen zeitgenössischer Kunst am Beispiel der documenta 14 in Kassel.
No full textWie genau stellen eigentlich Kunstvermittler*innen eine Situation her, in der eine Vermittlung zeitgenössischer Kunst stattfinden kann? Welche Haltung entwickeln sie zu ihrer kunstvermittlerischen Tätigkeit? Welche Strategien entwickeln sie dabei? Auf der Ausstellung documenta 14 (2017) wurden im Rahmen des Forschungsprojekts „The Art Educator’s Walk– Handeln und Haltung von Kunstvermittler*innen zeitgenössischer Kunst am Beispiel der Grossausstellung documenta 14 in Kassel“ zu diesen Fragen 20 „Spaziergänge“ von 10 „Chorist*innen“ (Kunstvermittler*innen der documenta 14) begleitet und interviewt. Der per se ephemeren Praxis der Kunstvermittlung in Kunstausstellungen ging das Forschungsprojekt im Rahmen eines Forschungsprojekts am Institut Praktiken und Theorien der Künste an der HKB Bern mit der These nach, dass Kunstvermittlung aus einer Haltung heraus praktiziert wird. Dieser Beitrag skizziert nach einer biographischen Argumentation aus der „Mitte“ heraus zunächst die historisch gewachsene Situation der documenta und ihrer Vermittlung. Konzepte und Hintergründe der Kunstvermittlung der documenta 14, insbesondere das Verlernen bildeten den Handlungsrahmen der befragten und begleiteten Chorist*innen. Ein Einblick in das qualitativ-empirische Setting zur Datengewinnung in Form einer teilnehmenden Beobachtung von kunstvermittlerischer Praxis mit Besucher*innengruppen auf der documenta 14 reflektiert den Kontext der Datengewinnung. Innerhalb dreier „Streifzüge“, welche die ersten Sätze eines Spaziergangs, das Dilemma des Wissens und die Kunstvermittlung als Arbeit analysieren, wird das gewonnene Material exemplarisch vorgestellt und diskutiert
A murine model to study vasoreactivity and intravascular flow in lung isograft microvessels
Get PDFIntravital microscopy of orthotopic lung tissue is technically demanding, especially for repeated investigations. Therefore, we have established a novel approach, which allows non-invasive repetitive in vivo microscopy of ectopic lung tissue in dorsal skinfold chambers. Syngeneic subpleural peripheral lung tissue and autologous endometrium (control) were transplanted onto the striated muscle within dorsal skinfold chambers of C57BL/6 mice. Grafts were analysed by intravital fluorescence microscopy over 14 days. Angiogenesis occurred in the grafts on day 3, as indicated by sinusoidal microvessels on the grafts’ edges with very slow blood flow, perifocal oedema, and haemorrhage. By day 10, lung transplants were completely revascularized, exhibited a dense network of microvessels with irregular diameters, chaotic angioarchitecture, and high blood flow. Compared to lung tissue, endometrial grafts contained a structured, glomerulus-like vessel architecture with lower blood flow. Despite missing ventilation, hypoxic vasoconstriction of the lung tissue arterioles occurred. In contrast, endometrium tissue arterioles dilated during hypoxia and constricted in hyperoxia. This demonstrates that ectopic lung grafts keep their ability for organ-specific hypoxic vasoconstriction. These findings indicate that our approach is suitable for repetitive in vivo pulmonary microcirculation analyses. The high blood flow and hypoxia-induced vasoconstriction in lung grafts suggest a physiological intrinsic vasoregulation independent of the recipient tissue
Impulse für den Unterricht – Anregungen zum Film «Selfies»
No full textDer Animationsfilm reiht in rasendem Tempo ein Selfie ans andere. Die Palette reicht von idyllischen, politisch brisanten, peinlichen bis zu höchst verstörenden Selbstporträts und eröffnet den Blick in die Abgründe der Selbstinszenierung in Zeiten der Digitalisierung. Die in Zeichenanimation erstellten Bild- und Video-Selfies haben erkennbar fotografische bzw. videografische Originale als Grundlage, aus denen durch zeichnerische Bearbeitung, Verfremdung und Überspitzung der Film entstanden ist.
Im Begleitmaterial stehen zwei didaktische Impulse mit unterschiedlichem Fokus zur Verfügung: Im ersten Impuls werden sich die Schüler/-innen ihres eigenen Umgangs mit Selfies bewusst, nehmen eine kritische Sichtung des Films vor, vergleichen Selfie-Bildwelten mit Lebenswelten und entwickeln Kriterien zu einem reflektierten Umgang mit Selfies. Der zweite Impuls regt die Schüler/-innen dazu an, verschiedene Selfies aus ihrem privaten Kontext sowie aus dem Film im Hinblick auf globale, historische und gesellschaftliche Bedeutsamkeit unter die Lupe zu nehmen
