No full textThe institute of self-defense in police action: an analysis of its effectiveness and limits in light of the Brazilian penal code”, is the theme of this monographic research. From this perspective, the issue of self-defense is based on an exclusion of illegality that plays a central role in the balance between the individual protection of the police officer, as an agent subject to situations of imminent risk, and the fulfillment of his essential function of preserving public order and protecting society. This research has as its theoretical support the legal literature and legal bases such as the Federal Constitution of 1988, the Brazilian Penal Code and Law No. 13.964/2019. Thus, the general objective of this research is to discuss the limits and effectiveness of the institute of self-defense in the context of police action, based on an in-depth study of Brazilian legal normativity. In terms of specific objectives, the aim is to understand the concept of self-defense and its nuances, based on the Brazilian Penal Code, as well as to analyze the normative structure and legal scope of the police power, supported by the law and principle of public safety and, finally, to discuss the effective application of the institute of self-defense in police action. The methodology adopted in this research is characterized by a qualitative approach, based on the performance of a bibliographic study, which involved the review and analysis of doctrinal sources, pertinent legislation and scientific articles published in specialized journals, as well as official documents that deal with police action and the legitimate use of force. Finally, the final considerations presented the discussion held during the research, regarding the limits, excesses and effectiveness of the institute of self-defense of police officers, thus becoming a theme that presents multiple facets, covering legal, ethical and operational aspectsO instituto da legítima defesa na atuação policial: uma análise sobre a efetividade e os limites à luz do código penal brasileiro”, consiste no tema dessa pesquisa monográfica. Nessa perpectiva, a questão da legítima defesa baseia-se em uma excludente de ilicitude que desempenha papel central no equilíbrio entre a proteção individual do policial, enquanto agente sujeito a situações de risco iminente, e o cumprimento de sua função essencial de preservação da ordem pública e proteção da sociedade. Esta pesquisa tem como aporte teórico a literatura jurídica e bases legais como a Constituição Federal de 1988, o Código Penal Brasileiro e a Lei nº 13.964/2019. Assim, o objetivo geral desta pesquisa é discutir os limites e a efetividade do instituto da legítima defesa no contexto da ação policial, com base em um estudo aprofundado da normatividade jurídica brasileira. Em se tratando dos objetivos específicos busca-se compreender o conceito de legítima defesa, e suas nuances, com fulcro no Código Penal Brasileiro, assim como analisar a estrutura normativa e abrangência legal do poder de polícia, amparado no direito e princípio da segurança pública e, por fim, discutir a efetiva aplicação do instituto da legítima defesa na ação policial. A metodologia adotada nesta pesquisa caracteriza-se por uma abordagem qualitativa, fundamentada na realização de um estudo bibliográfico, que envolveu a revisão e a análise de fontes doutrinárias, legislações pertinentes e artigos científicos publicados em periódicos especializados, bem como documentos oficiais que tratam da atuação policial e do uso legítimo da força. The Institute of Civil Liability Applied to Family Law: a study of paternal-filial emotional abandonment
No full textThis study, entitled “The Institute of Civil Liability Applied to Family Law: A Study on Paternal-Filial Affective Abandonment”, aims to legally analyze the applicability of the institute of civil liability to the phenomenon of affective abandonment in paternal-filial relationships, highlighting the legal and jurisprudential foundations that legitimize compensation for moral damages. To this end, the study seeks to achieve the following specific objectives: (i) to examine the institute of civil liability and its particularities; (ii) to conceptualize the phenomenon of affective abandonment in the context of family law, considering its nuances and legal repercussions in Brazil; and (iii) to investigate the feasibility of applying civil liability in cases of paternal-filial affective abandonment. Accordingly, the first chapter, divided into two sections, explores the institute of civil liability in Brazilian law, as well as the evolving concept of family in contemporary society and the principles of civil liability as applied to family law. The second chapter examines paternal-filial affective abandonment, its characterization under Brazilian law, and its legal and psychological repercussions. The third and final chapter analyzes the jurisprudential approach to paternal-filial affective abandonment, the role and significance of case law, and the treatment of this issue in the jurisprudence of the Superior Court of Justice (STJ). This chapter also discusses the growing influence of jurisprudence within the Brazilian legal system and the interpretation of the subject by the Court of Citizenship. The methodology employed consists of bibliographical research and case law analysis, focusing on STJ rulings. This study seeks to contribute to the discussion of one of the most relevant and contemporary issues in Brazilian law. The research confirmed the initial hypothesis, demonstrating that compensation for moral damages is legally viable in cases of paternal-filial affective abandonment, in light of STJ jurisprudenceO presente estudo, intitulado “O Instituto da Responsabilidade Civil Aplicado ao Direito de Família: um estudo do abandono afetivo paterno-filial”, tem como objetivo geral analisar juridicamente a possibilidade de aplicação do instituto da responsabilidade civil ao fenômeno do abandono afetivo na relação paterno-filial, destacando os fundamentos legais e jurisprudenciais que legitimam a reparação por danos morais. Para tanto, busca-se atingir os seguintes objetivos específicos: (i) estudar o instituto da responsabilidade civil e suas especificidades; (ii) conceituar o fenômeno do abandono afetivo à luz do direito de família, observando suas nuances e repercussões jurídicas no Brasil; e (iii) investigar a possibilidade de aplicação do instituto da responsabilidade civil nos casos de abandono afetivo paterno-filial. Com esse fim, no primeiro capítulo, subdividido em duas seções, estudar-se-á o instituto da responsabilidade civil no direito brasileiro, bem como a nova concepção de família na sociedade contemporânea e o conceito de responsabilidade civil e sua aplicação ao direito de família. No segundo capítulo, buscar-se-á compreender o abandono afetivo paterno-filial e sua caracterização no direito pátrio, bem como as repercussões jurídicas e psicológicas do abandono afetivo paterno-filial. No terceiro e último capítulo, analisar-se-á o entendimento jurisprudencial acerca do abandono afetivo paterno-filial, a função e relevância da jurisprudência e o abandono afetivo paterno-filial à luz da jurisprudência do Superior Tribunal de Justiça, estudando a importância que cada vez mais adquire a jurisprudência dentro do ordenamento jurídico brasileiro, bem como a compreensão emanada pelo Tribunal da Cidadania acerca do referido tema. A metodologia utilizada consiste em pesquisa bibliográfica e análise de jurisprudência, com foco nas decisões do STJ. Psychotherapeutic musical education in the development of children's oral language: an experience report
No full textThis article aims to investigate how Psychotherapeutic Music Education associated with Child Language Therapy can help in the process of oral language development. The article initially addresses the importance of Music Education in child development and relates language therapy with Psychotherapeutic Music Education (PME) in the intervention process. The research is qualitative in nature and dialogues between Bibliographic Research and Experience Reports. Five Psychotherapeutic Music Education activities were applied together with Language Therapy for a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The results showed that Psychotherapeutic Music Education activities together with Language Therapy favored the process of oral language development, social, emotional and cognitive aspects. Educação Musical Psicoterapêutica atrelada à Terapia de Linguagem de uma
criança com Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA). Os resultados mostraram que as
atividades de Educação Musical Psicoterapêutica junto com a Terapia de linguagem
favoreceram o processo de desenvolvimento da linguagem oral, dos aspectos,
social, emocional e cognitivo. A pesquisa revelou dessa forma que a Educação
Musical é uma ferramenta poderosa para estimular Crianças com TEA que

Family and school: a necessary partnership for the inclusion process of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
No full textAutism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a condition that requires an educationally and
emotionally sensitive approach to ensure effective school inclusion. This paper
explores the importance of collaboration between family and school as a fundamental
strategy for the successful inclusion of students with ASD. As a general objective, we
sought to analyze the importance of collaboration between family and school in the
process of inclusion of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), identifying how
an effective partnership can promote a more inclusive educational environment and
offer adequate support for the academic and social development of these students As
a theoretical contribution, we sought the contribution of authors such as (Honda, (2020),
Montam (2003), Cunha (2015), Menezes (2012) and others. In order to carry out the
research, we adopted bibliographical research, with a qualitative, exploratory and
descriptive approach, based on published materials, such as: books, magazines and
articles, journals, dissertations, theses, and others available in virtual libraries: such as
Google Scholar and Scielo, Lilacs, and others that we considered valid as a theoretical
reference for the scientific consolidation of this study. For the corpus of the research,
in order to obtain answers to the questions raised, a semi-structured questionnaire was
carried out with five (5) questions addressed to the teachers, including the tutors who
were in charge of the research locus. The study was carried out at the Concita Viegas
Municipal School, located in the city of Pinheiro/MA. After analyzing the data, it was
possible to see that the family and school partnership is of paramount importance in
the process of including students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), both for
development and for the teaching and learning process of these children. The research
revealed that cooperation between parents and educators not only facilitates the
student's adaptation to the school environment, but also contributes significantly to
their academic and social development. A well-established partnership between family

os professores incluindo tutores regentes no lócus da pesquisa. O estudo foi realizado
na escola que recebe o nome de Escola Municipal Concita Viegas, situada na cidade
de Pinheiro/MA. Após as análises dos dados foi possível constatar que a parceria
família e escola é de suma importância no processo de inclusão dos discentes com
Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA), tanto para desenvolvimento, como também
para o processo ensino e aprendizagem dessas crianças. A pesquisa nos revelou, que
a cooperação entre pais e educadores não apenas facilita a adaptação do aluno ao
ambiente escolar, mas também contribui significativamente para seu desenvolvimento
acadêmico e social. Uma parceria bem estabelecida entre família e escola não só
apoia o aluno com TEA, mas também fortalece a comunidade escolar como um todo.

No full textCattle farming is one of the main agricultural activities in Maranhão, standing out for its economic
and social relevance. This study aims to analyze the profile of cattle farming in the state, addressing
historical, productive, and structural aspects. The research was conducted through a literature
review and data collection from official sources. Maranhão has one of the largest cattle herds in
the Northeast, characterized by predominantly extensive farming systems. The main breeds used
in beef and dairy cattle farming include Nelore, Gir, Guzerá, and Girolando, which are well adapted
to the region's climatic conditions. Additionally, there has been an increasing adoption of genetic
improvement and nutritional management to optimize production. The study highlights the
importance of cattle farming for regional development, consolidating Maranhão as one of the most
significant states in Brazil's livestock sectorA pecuária bovina é uma das principais atividades agropecuárias do Maranhão, destacandose
pela sua relevância econômica e social. Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar o perfil
da bovinocultura no estado, abordando aspectos históricos, produtivos e estruturais. A

Changes in precipitation rates in the city of Santa Helena, Maranhão lowlands
No full textThe study investigated changes in precipitation rates in the northern portion of the Baixada
Maranhense, focusing on the city of Santa Helena, from 1994 to 2023. It is justified by the
relevance of understanding the influence of climate change, particularly in a region heavily
reliant on subsistence activities and fragile ecosystems. Daily precipitation data were obtained
from the Brazilian National Water Agency and analyzed using ETCCDI climate indices,
correlating them with sea surface temperature (SST) anomalies in the Atlantic and Pacific
Oceans. The results revealed that Pacific SST is associated with reduced intense rainfall during
El Niño events, while the Tropical South Atlantic showed a positive correlation with increased
precipitation. The discussion highlights how these global climatic phenomena modulate local
variability, impacting water resource management and environmental planning. The study
concludes that expanding climate monitoring and integrating it into public policies is crucial to
mitigate the social and ecological impacts of extreme weather events in the regionO trabalho investigou as mudanças nas taxas de precipitação na porção norte da Baixada

redução de chuvas intensas durante os eventos de El Niño, enquanto o Atlântico Tropical Sul
mostrou correlação positiva com o aumento da precipitação. A discussão enfatiza como esses

Sensory games as a tool in the literacy process of students with autism spectrum disorder
No full textAutism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that significantly
impacts communication, social interaction, and behavior, posing specific challenges in
the literacy process. This research aimed to explore the effectiveness of inclusive
pedagogical strategies, focusing on the use of sensory games, considering the
importance of approaches that address the cognitive and sensory needs of students
with ASD. The study sought to evaluate the contribution of the game <Magic Box of
Letters and Sounds= in developing reading and writing skills and to investigate the
impact of this pedagogical tool on students' behavioral and socio-emotional competencies. This qualitative research included the application of questionnaires to
teachers to understand their perceptions of sensory games in the literacy process, as
well as practical activities with the game conducted in a public school. The findings
revealed that using the sensory game facilitated student engagement in the literacy
process, leading to significant improvements in recognizing letters, sounds, and words,
alongside better behavior and social interaction. Teachers reported that employing
sensory resources supported inclusion and learning, highlighting the importance of
teacher training for effective implementation of these practices. It was concluded that
sensory games, such as the <Magic Box of Letters and Sounds,= are effective tools for
teaching children with ASD, contributing to their holistic development and emphasizing
the need for inclusive pedagogical strategies that meet the specific demands of this
group. The research also underscores the importance of public policies aimed at

objetivo investigar a eficácia dos jogos sensórias como ferramenta pedagogica no
processo de alfabetização de alunos com TEA, além de investigar os impactos dessa
ferramenta pedagógica nas competências comportamentais e socioemocionais dos
alunos. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa, que incluiu uma
entrevista semiestruturada com professores para compreender suas concepções
sobre o uso de jogos sensoriais no processo de alfabetização, bem como a realização
de atividades práticas utilizando como estratégia o jogo com a Caixa Mágica sensorial
em uma escola pública. Os resultados apontaram que o uso do jogo sensorial facilitou
o engajamento dos alunos no processo de alfabetização, promovendo avanços no
reconhecimento de letras, sons e palavras, além de melhorias no comportamento e
na interação social. Os professores afirmaram que a utilização de recursos sensoriais
favorece a inclusão e o aprendizado, destacando a relevância da formação docente
para implementar essas práticas de forma eficaz. Conclui-se que os jogos sensoriais,
como a <Caixa Mágica das Letras e Sons=, são ferramentas eficazes no ensino de
crianças com TEA, contribuindo para o seu desenvolvimento integral e reforçando a
necessidade de estratégias pedagógicas inclusivas que atendam às demandas

No full textDignified rest and mental health: analysis of the impacts of the 6x1 schedule on the health of nursing professionals, the theme of this monographic research that investigates the connection between the increase in the diagnosis of mental disorders among nurses and the working hours established in the Brazilian legal system. It aims, as a general objective, to analyze the implications of the aforementioned schedule on the mental health of nurses, based on the Federal Constitution of 1988 and the Consolidation of Labor Laws. As specific objectives, it intends to understand the working hours established in Brazil, while verifying whether the rest provided in the legislation can be considered dignified; to present the main issues harmful to the health of nurses, in order to identify whether the 6x1 schedule is one of these factors; and to establish comparisons between Brazilian, Portuguese, French, and American legislation regarding the duration of work. It has as theoretical and methodological support documentary research, obtained in Brazilian legislation, as well as in European and American legislation; and bibliographic research based on authors and current studies on the investigated problem. The method used was the deductive one, which moves from a broader scope to a narrower one. Recognition of persons in criminal proceedings: legal analysis of its application in the justice system in the city of Rosário-MA
No full textThe identification of individuals is an evidentiary method regulated by Article 226 of the
Brazilian Code of Criminal Procedure (CCP) and Resolution 484/2022 of the National Council
of Justice (CNJ). This study analyzes the legal and procedural implications of this method,
identifying shortcomings and proposing practices to ensure its reliability. The research
employed qualitative and quantitative methodologies, including bibliographic and documentary
analysis, as well as an examination of police investigations and judicial proceedings from the
Police Station and District of Rosário-MA, between 2020 and 2024. The results highlight
frequent failures in the application of the rules, such as improper practices like show-ups and
suspect photo albums, aggravated by false memories, which reinforce criminal selectivity. It is
concluded that while identification is essential, it requires greater procedural rigor to prevent
injustices and protect fundamental rights, with Resolution 484/2022 serving as a crucial
normative instrument for regulating this evidentiary methodO reconhecimento de pessoas é um meio de prova regulamentado pelo artigo 226 do Código de

A playful pedagogical proposal with geometry for students with TEA in high school
No full textThe main objective of the research is to present a playful pedagogical proposal on geometry for teaching
autistic students in the 1st year of high school. To this end, we first carried out a bibliographical research
in the Annals of National Meetings of Inclusive Mathematics Education (ENEMI's), with the aim of
understanding autism and its relationship with mathematics education. Throughout the bibliographical
research, we used a qualitative approach and carried out a critical analysis of the 24 selected works,
among which, the majority approached play as a mathematics teaching methodology. Subsequently, we
built a pedagogical proposal with the aim of understanding how play helps in teaching geometry to

para o ensino de alunos autistas do 1° ano do Ensino Médio. Para tanto, primeiramente realizamos uma
pesquisa bibliográfica nos Anais dos Encontros Nacionais de Educação Matemática Inclusiva
(ENEMI9s), com o intuito de entender sobre o autismo e a sua relação com a educação matemática. Ao
longo da pesquisa bibliográfica utilizamos a abordagem qualitativa e efetuamos a análise crítica das 24
obras selecionadas, dentre as quais, a maioria abordava o lúdico como metodologia de ensino de
matemática. Posteriormente, construímos uma proposta pedagógica com intuito de compreender como
o lúdico colabora no ensino de geometria para os alunos autistas do Ensino Médio. Por fim, constatamos
que essa didática poderá ressignificar a componente curricular matemática, como prazerosa; ademais,
evidenciamos que através do lúdico pode ser desenvolvido o raciocínio lógico, o conhecimento
