In recent years, with the decrease in the farming population and aging of agriculture workers, the resulting increase in abandoned cultivated land has become a serious issue. As the shortage of labor progresses in relation to these kinds of land resources, there has been a flourishing of smart-agriculture, which aims to expand scale further, reduce manpower, and lower costs.     application/pdf論文(Atticle)Chinese Fan Palm is a palm ritual plant used in ceremonies by ancient Japanese emperors. According to the Fukuoka Prefecture Red Data Book, the northern limit of its native land is Munakata Okino-shima, and it is said that it grows naturally only on Okino-shima Island in the prefecture. However, the author discovered that palms very similar to Mt.Aratsu (Nishi Park) were distributed in the wild breeding state, and as a result of genetic testing in 2019, they were able to identify them as Chinese Fan Palm (Livistona chinensis). In 2012, the author discovered that there was a large Chinese Fan Palm tree at the shrine of Orono-shima, and from the literature survey, it was found that it was described in the prefectural natural monument survey report in Showa 4. In addition, I discovered that there is one old tree of Chinese Fan Palm on Nokono-shima. When these Chinese Fan Palms were compared with the Chinese Fan Palms of the Nagasaki Prefecture Natural Monument by genetic testing, the match rate between the Chinese Fan Palms of Mt.Aratsu (Nishi Park) and the Chinese Fan Palms of Hirado was high, and some of them matched perfectly. It is presumed that these Chinese Fan Palms are in the same group as the Genkai Sea as a whole. Given the historical background of the use of Chinese Fan Palm, it is possible that the distribution is closely related to ancient rituals. Furthermore, this result may indicate that the two episodes about the Japan mythical Chinese Fan Palm were set in Fukuoka.departmental bulletin pape

    Effect of Out-of-Class English Learning on Development of Autonomous Learners

    applicationThis paper demonstrates that out-of-class English learning is one of the effective pedagogies for developing autonomous learners. The out-of-class English learning is designed for all the students who enroll in English A and English B in 2021 academic year to acquire English reading skills through the CEFR-J based textbook, and it also employs planned scaffolding for learners to foster the degree of understanding and acquisition of grammatical, syntactic, and lexical knowledge, so that they can be autonomous English learners. The quantitative survey reveals that the out-of-class English learning shows statistically significant difference in learners’ attitude and motivation.論文(article)othe

    Feature Inheritance and Percolation between C and T

    The functional category T in a clause undergoes feature inheritance of ϕ-features from C in the system of complementizer.This feature inheritance bears by-products, and one of them is complementizer agreement observed in many languages,especially in West Germanic languages. The ϕ-features in T that are inherited from C percolate up from T to C, which is caused by requirements of the principle called “Percolation” applicable in istributed Morphology, a grammatical level between Narrow Syntax and PF Interface. Some cross-linguistic variations of this complementizer agreement depend on the interaction among the principle Percolation and the hierarchy of the ϕ-features. Features other than ϕ-features, i.e. tense feature and mood feature, also undergo feature inheritance from C to T, and feature percolation of the features in T inherited from C occurs due to requirements of the principle Percolation.論文(Article)departmental bulletin pape

    application/pdfThe atmospheric pressure plasmas were irradiated to budding yeast, a model organism, at different feed gas and irradiation times to elucidate the mechanism of cell proliferation by plasma irradiation. The optimal plasma irradiation conditions for the growth of budding yeast using plasmas were N2 plasma irradiation.     Planning to Insert a Board-like Object into the Frame -An Approach for Assembly Automation in Mass Production-

    application/pdfThis paper studies robotic insertion planning for board-like objects as an assembly primitive motion. Assembly of industrial parts in mass production is a bottleneck for factory automation because such a complicated and combined task requires robots to handle various parts, including deformable objects. In addition, synthesizing these primitive motions for assembly and other supplemental equipment is essential, for example, parts feeding and work transfer. This paper briefly summarizes the trend of robotic assembly research and competitions.
