Get PDFapplication/pdf論文(Atticle)In this study, efficient collection methods of brackish bembidiine ground beetles and distribution patterns of brackish bembidiine ground beetles in Japan were clarified by organizing the data from the National Census on River Environments conducted from 1990 to 2018. The results shows that qualitative collection method and light trap method were shown to be appropriate for the collection survey of brackish bembidiine ground beetles. The number of species of the brackish bembidiine ground beetles is low in the Sea of Japan and high in the Pacific Ocean in western Japan.departmental bulletin pape

Use of university libraries among first-year university students ―Career education for cultivating academic skills―
Get PDFThis study aimed to examine how first-year students use university libraries and to identify an effective approach to increase their usage thereof as an academic skill. An online questionnaire was administered to 1041 first-year students at Fukuoka Institute of Technology in July 2022. A total of 647 questionnaires were analyzed. The results revealed that 52.9% of the participants found that the introductory lecture on the use of the library with regard to career education was overall useful, and 54% rarely or never used the library in the previous semester. In this gPBL program, 7 FIT students, 10 KMITL students and 4 UiTM (Universiti Teknologi MARA) students participated the project: “Design of a line follower robot and its
function extension”. To evaluate this gPBL program, we conducted a questionnaire survey for FIT students who completed the gPBL program. As a result of the questionnaire survey, it was found that this gPBL program has a great influence on students' motivation to learn.
