Get PDFapplication/pdf論文(Atticle)There is a need to support the independence of the older people, especially to assist them in leading spiritually fulfilling lives. To meet this need, we are developing a dialogue system that can estimate the user's emotional state. To realize that dialogue system, in this study, we implemented a function for estimating scenes put in haiku. We performed latent semantic indexing on a large amount of haiku data. The semantic can be regarded as scenes in haiku, and the vector representation of words obtained here represents the relationship between a word and multiple scenes. If the scene in a haiku is related to the emotion of the author, the vector representation of the words is an attribute about the emotion. In other words, by estimating the scene of the input haiku, we can identify the user's emotional state.departmental bulletin pape

Reflections on Classroom Practices during the COVID-19 Pandemic ―Focusing on Hybrid-Flexible Courses―
Get PDF論文(Article)This study examines the usefulness of Hybrid-Flexible (HyFlex) courses conducted in the first semester of 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Of all the courses conducted during that semester, 43% were HyFlex courses, whereas 38% were faceto-face courses. HyFlex lessons received more positive evaluations from students than did only face-to-face lessons in 2019 and only online lessons in 2020. However, no notable improvement in academic achievement was seen in the HyFlex courses in comparison with the previous two years. Based on these results, we suggest approaches toward promoting the use of learning strategies by eachstudent participating in HyFlex courses.departmental bulletin pape

Get PDFapplication/pdf論文(Atticle)Management plans and systems are essential for the sustainable conservation, protection, use, and transmission of World Heritage sites. We undertook a comprehensive literature review and found that the arguments for landscape management closely align with the essential elements of effective World Heritage management systems that UNESCO expects. Based on the recommendations and requirements outlined in the UNESCO Operational Guidelines and Resource Manuals for managing World Heritage sites, we conducted a comparative analysis of the management systems of Natural World Heritage sites in China and Japan. We then built on this comparison and focused on analyzing the characteristics of both countries' Natural World Heritage management systems from a landscape management perspective. Based on our findings, we propose an effective World Heritage management system that contributes to the sustainable development of these extraordinary sites.departmental bulletin pape
