一対比較評価における視線情報を用いた選好推定
application/pdf論文(Atticle)We investigate to predict preference which a design likes with user gaze information while viewing two watch designs in paired comparison evaluation. In the preference prediction, using a decision tree method and a support vector machine (SVM) method, we compare the preference prediction performances with various gaze information. We employ gaze positions (x and y coordinate values on display) and pupil size of both eyes. The experiments performed cross validation for measuring estimated correct rates and showed the results that both methods obtained approximately 60 to 70% of the estimated correct rates when using each subject’s and all subjects’ gaze information.departmental bulletin pape
教養教育における主体性育成のための教育実践
applicationUnder the university-wide Faculty Development policies for 2023, our university’s Center for Liberal Arts conducted original workshops three times during the 2023-24 academic year. Three teachers gave presentations about what they did in the classroom to nurture learners’ autonomous learning attitudes. The topics covered how to raise learners’ motivation, practical ways to set up assignments, and how to increase students’ ownership in learning. In each workshop, participants exchanged opinions on what teachers can or should do to facilitate learners’ autonomy, and this provided the participants with new insights toward teaching.論文(article)othe

In this study, we screened compounds that inhibit antimicrobial resistance of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), a major cause of nosocomial infections, and studied their mechanism of action. This study explored the feasible pathways by introducing sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) and controlling flight distance for achieving carbon-neutral in Australia. The results showed that CO2 emissions exceeded the target in 2035 and that emissions would need to be reduced by 309 Mt-CO2 by 2050 to meet the target. Graphene Transfer by using a Water Transfer Sheet and a Home-use Laminator
Graphene grown on a copper foil was transferred to a SiO2/Si substrate by usinga water transfer sheet and a home-use laminator with four rollers. This method succeeded in transferring the large-area graphene from the copper foil to the substrate easily while maintainingthe crystal quality. Mesoscopic structures were fabricated on the transferred graphene by using photolithography and oxygen plasma etching. As a result of the electric transport measurements, conductive characteristics were created even in a small area of 50 × 50 μm2 at 1.4 K. The carrier density was also controlled by applyingthe gate voltage to the conductive Si layer in the substrate although the variable range of the density was relatively small. With optimization, there is the possibility that this method could take the place of the conventional graphene transfer method.論文(Article)departmental bulletin pape
