The Fundamental Education of the Information Network

    Get PDF
application/pdf論文(Article)Information processing education is performed in Fukuoka Institute of Technology, Junior College (FITJC, for short). Our students are using E-mail, LAN and Internet. However, we think that there are few people who know the essence of the information network. So we open a class to teach about the information network, and explain about an outline of the information network and fundamental technology of it, in the class. This paper analyzes the contents of lectures and the record evaluations of our student's reports for computer networks I performed at FITJC from 2002 to 2003, discusses the evaluation of the lectures of our students, and investigates future themes for better education.departmental bulletin pape

Research on The Long-term Plans of A Local Govermnent

    Get PDF
application/pdf論文(Article)Many local governments are striving for nature-conservation movement. However, there are often big differences in the plans and actual activities. Then, a ten-year plan of a certain local government was analyzed to examine a relation to nature. The plan mentions, (1) creation and preservation of greens, (2) preservation of beautiful scenery of greens, (3) preservation of beautiful riverbank, and (4) preservation of green environment. However, the actual contents of a plan are as follows, (1) maintenance of playground and lodgings, (2) preservation of farmland, appropriate land development and preservation of a cultural properties, (3) maintenance of riverbank protection and multipurpose use, (4) reduction of waste, maintenance of a waste disposal plants and promotion of clean-up campaign within the communities. As you can see, some of them run counter to the spirit of nature-conservation and some don't even belong to the headings. Therefore, some proposals were made about the above.(a) A division of the plan is not precise. (b) Budget must not be used only for buildings. (c) We must utilize natural resources that we have now.departmental bulletin pape

Magnetic Field Dependence of a Configuration of Shielding Cu汀ent Front in a Superconducting Plate

application/pdf論文(Article)In a superconducting plate having aspect ratio of 5, a front configuration of the shielding current region can be well approximated by a curve with the n-th order power, over wide range of normalized external magnetic field ĥe= 0~1.6. For medium and high field range of ĥe= 0.6~1.6, n takes about 2, and shielding effect is quite favorable, so that error field in the shielded region is merely within 0.1 % of ĥe. For low field range of ĥe<0.5, on the contrary, n grows up rapidly as ĥe decreases. For example, n takes 12.7 when ĥe= 0.1. Current front having such large n cannot shield the interior uniformly, so that error field increases abruptly near the front, reaching to about 2% of ĥe when ĥe= 0.1. Our method can be available for technical applications such as a superconducting tape, because of its simplicity and adequate precision.departmental bulletin pape

Influence of the Residual Chlorine on Water Environment

application/pdf論文(Article)It is shown that the tap water before electrolysis has higher RC (residual chlorine) and ORP (oxidation reduction potential) than other solutions. Change of RC and ORP after electrolyzing the tap water and salt solution is described. RC after electrolysis: in anode tube, since RC is influenced by pH, RC with the salt solution of 2.0 and l.Og/R becomes higher than RC of the tap water. In cathode tube, RC tends to disappear. ORP after electrolysis: in anode tube, ORP of tap water is higher than the salt solution electrolyzed for 150minutes. This shows that the tap water and chlorine react to each other and works as activated chlorine with strong oxidation force. In cathode tube, ORP of tap water and the salt solution decrease rapidly and change from the oxidation state to reduction state. Thus, as long as the tap water is chlorinated, it is crucial to set an upper limit to the amount of chlorine to be used.departmental bulletin pape

Shielding Current Front in a Superconducting Plate under a Perpendicular Magnetic Field II

    Get PDF
application/pdf論文(Article)Front configuration of shielding current regions in a superconducting plate under a magnetic field He perpendicular to the plate surface, is discussed by fitting to some parabola-like curves with the n-th power (n=2,3,4). Adopted shielding conditions are that the magnetic field vanishes completely at the center of the plate, and that the magnetic field distribution on the x axes, parallel direction to the plate surface, has a zero second derivative coefficient near the center. Three sets of curves having different n values are compared and estimated for getting the best shielding case. For a medium strength of H,, the curve of n=3 is considered to be the most favorable one, compared with others (n=2,4), because it gives the smallest mean value of field distribution on x axes in the shielded region.departmental bulletin pape

Basic Research on the Influence of Tap Water on Living Environment

application/pdf論文(Article)We electrolyzed pure water, tap water and pond water by adding salt which cannot be lacked in a human life. The followings were found as a result of observing this electrolyte: ① Electrical conductivity (EC) is tap water>pure water>pond water, and tap water increases an electrolyte as the salt increases; ② In the anode tub, the amount dissolved oxygen (DO) is tap water>pond water>pure water, and oxygen is generated by the electrolysis reaction; ③ In the anode tube, hydrogen ion index (pH) is pond water > pure water>tap water and in the cathode tub, it is pure water =c tap water>pond water. pH shows a contrastive change in the tubs; ④ In the anode tub, oxidation reduction potential (ORP) is tap water>pure water>pond water. And in the cathode tub, it is pure water>tap water>pond water. The two tubs show extreme differences. As stated above, the tap water with the chlorine has a tendency to show a high measured value compared to other water when it is electrolyzed. However, because we use this tap water with chlorine everyday, we need a further research on the influence that this chlorine may have upon us.departmental bulletin pape

Change of Living Body Electrical Potential and Earth Electrical Potential with outside Environment Change for Observation

    Get PDF
application/pdf論文(Article)Necessary ions move through a cell film related to life maintenance of the living body, according to outside envirorunent changes. From that, when an activity state of a plant is compared by saturation velocity, we find that a cherry tree shows the tendency to depend on a weather condition, but a Japanese oak and a silk tree do not as much. Also, a Japanese oak conspicuously shows the ion concentration ratio in spite of the weather condition. An earthquake may occur in less than a week from the day this ion concentration is observed. In addition, influence of ion concentration ratio of boring work within 10 meter deep underground near a Japanese oak is great. A Japanese oak can be regarded as a plant which fully possesses a function of a living body sensor. The change of normal electrical potential from its simple observation may be a phenomenon before the actual earthquake outbreak. For these reasons, we could make good use of it for envirorunent of a community and reduce an earthquake disaster as an earthquake sensor, even if it is uncertain.departmental bulletin pape

Company's Activity and Its Environmental Maintenance

application/pdf論文(Article)The environment of companies always changes, and companies continue to exist by adjusting to it. So companies pay attention to activities of the interested people and try to prevent the environmental aggravation. Today, Japan is in the long-term recession, and a lot of companies are going bankrupt. Some companies are even violating the law in order to servive. A camouflage of food is a good example. It is a method to feign about a production place, brand and expiration date of beef, poek, chicken, fishery products and vegetables. Therefore, we gave some examples of the food camouflage to examine its problems and the influence on related companies.departmental bulletin pape

    Some Considerations of Erdos-Sos Conjecture

    Get PDF
application/pdf論文(Article)Erdos and Sos conjectured in 1963 that if G is a graph having n vertices and m edges satisfying m >n(k-1)/2, then G contains every tree having k edges. For example, if G is a complete graph, it is clear that G contains every tree having n -1 edges(i.e., the conjecture is true in this case) , since G satisfies m =n(n -1)/2 and k≦n -1, and there is an edge (u,v) for any two vertices u,v E G(u ≠ v). Furthermore, some partial results have been obtained in other special cases. However, this conjecture is still open in general graphs satisfying m>n(k-1)/2. In this paper, we prove that the conjecture is true in regular graphs and in complete bipartite graphs.departmental bulletin pape
