Development of Numerical Analysis Model for Optimal Design of Support Device of Blood Vessel Banding
application/pdf論文(Article)Congenital heart disease such as Ventricular septal defect (VSD), Hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS) and Single Ventricle (SV) have malformations and dysfunctions in the cardiovascular system. In particular, HLHS and SV have a high risk of death due to severe symptoms such as breathing disorder, hyperhidrosis, suckling disorder and cyanosis after birth. Therefore, surgical treatment is immediately considered. To reduce pulmonary vascular resistance, BT shunt or bilateral pulmonary artery banding is performed after birth. In this procedure, a tape of a vascular graft made of ePTFE is wrapped around a blood vessel to control blood flow toward the lungs. In this study, the ultra-small crip with automatic adjustment of banding diameter by wireless communication for blood vessel banding is considered. In this paper, a numerical analysis model of blood vessel and a tape of a vascular graft for blood vessel banding using Finite Element Method is investigated.departmental bulletin pape

application/pdf論文(Article)Interactive Evolutionary Computation (IEC) is well known approach searching good solutions for each user in terms of finding good graphics, sounds, and music pieces. This study aims to propose IEC with multiple users for creating fragrance. The fragrances are composed of several aroma sources; therefore, target of the proposed method is to optimize intensity of each source aroma. While the general IEC searches good solutions for each of the users, the proposed method can search good or optimal solution between the users by changing good solutions between the users during the search. A Consideration on Frequency Response Estimation Using Closed-loop Step Response Data

This dam is the typical type weir in Giran Province and two siphon system pipe-type fishways were newly installed at this dam in March 2018. Almost all materials of these fishways were provided in Giran Province and they were successfully installed and operated under the good relationship between the constructor and inhabitants living near the dam. Consideration on Applicability of Constant Current Method to Measurement of Void Fraction in a Bubbly Flow
application/pdf論文(Article)The present study aims at considering applicability of the constant current method as the measurement method of void fraction in a bubbly flow through a Venturi nozzle, which can be used to generate fine bubbles recently. For the accurate measurement of void fraction using this method, it is essential to identify the cause of havingthe a negative value of void fraction. The experimental result of a single bubble through the nozzle showed that the void fraction becomes negative when the bubble contacts with one electrode and do not contact with the other electrode, whilst the void fraction correctly becomes positive when it contacts with the both electrodes or do not contact with the both.departmental bulletin pape
Microwave Coaxial Probe Reflectometry Using Optical Crystals as References
application/pdf論文(Article)Coaxial probe reflectometry is a powerful method to evaluate complex permittivity of materials in broadband microwave frequency range. This method requires reference materials, and then water is typically used because of its easy availability and high dielectric constant. However, water is no longer used below 0 °C since it freezes. In this paper, some of optical crystals, KRS-5 and sapphire, are proposed as alternative reference materials to water. These materials have high and frequency independent dielectric constant in microwave frequency range. A fixture to install a disc-shaped crystal to the probe was also developed. The performance of using these optical crystals as references was evaluated by measuring ethanol and compared to conventional method. The result reveals KRS-5 and sapphire can be actually used as reference materials with comparable accuracy to water.departmental bulletin pape

Development of Heart Rate Monitoring System Using Smart Glass - Proposed of the New-algorithm for Reduced Noise of Electrocardiogram Derived from Head-
application/pdf論文(Article)We proposed the new digital filter algorithm for reduced noise of electrocardiogram (ECG) derived from the head. The proposed algorithm is based on the estimation technique of noise from one beat of ECG during exercise. The estimated noise is updated by 50% of noise derived from the latest beat and 50% of the noise derived from accumulated beat. The updated noise is devoted to ECG for detection of R-peak in next beat. In 3 healthy male participants, stationary state and 40, 50 W loads exercise using cycle ergometer for 30 seconds was performed, respectively. The results indicate that noise of ECG derived from head is decreased. In conclusion, these findings suggested that the proposed adaptive filter might be practical signal processing for reduced noise of ECG derived from head.departmental bulletin pape
The Significance and Consequence of the Revised Cartography Involving MoodP
application/pdf論文(Article)The cartography analysis in syntax has dealt with wide range of syntactic phenomena. The functional categories in the left peripheral area of the cartography have their own discourse function. Based on the cartography analysis, this paper shows the possibility of occurrence of MoodP above FinP in the left periphery of clauses. MoodP bears the function of speaker’s mood of utterance concerning uncertainty. The uncertainty appears as a null category in the head position of MoodP. This category always occurs in interrogative sentences and licenses negative polarity items in those sentences by binding them. Conditional clauses also bear this null category in MoodP because they imply uncertainty concerning the truth value of thier propostion. The null category, bearing uncertainty, can license negative polarity items in the conditional clauses as well. This null category hypothesis can be applied to other syntactic phenomena which are closely related to licensing negative polarity items.departmental bulletin pape
