Research on a Potentiometric Sweetness Sensor for Sugars using a Lipid Polymer Membrane Containing a Phenylboronic Acid Derivative
application/pdf論文(Article)The boronic acids are significant functional groups for design of chemical sensors for sugar recognition, because they are known to form ester with diols. In this study, we report a research on responses to uncharged sweet substances using a lipid polymer membrane consisting of tetradodecylammonium bromide (TDAB) as a lipid, dioctyl phenylphosphonate (DOPP) as a plasticizer and 3-nitrophenylboronic acid (3-NPBA) as a sugar recognition site. This sensor showed positive changes in membrane potentials to uncharged sugars such as monosaccharides and sugar alcohols, while no response to disaccharides such as sucrose or sucralose. Moreover, the sensor response has a positive correlation with the concentration of boric acid (0-5%). The results revealed that the phenylboronic acid derivative could be a useful functional substance in a lipid polymer membrane of a potentiometric sweetness sensor for detecting electrically neutral sugars.departmental bulletin pape
Validity of location data of old shrines and flood hazard map in the Nagano Valley ʷMainly considering an example of Morita Shrine in the 2019 Chikumagawa River Flood disasterʷ
application/pdf論文(Article)Typhoon №19(Asian name is Hagibis), which hit Japan in 2019, left large scars in various parts of Japan. Japanese people had been plagued by flood disaster since ancient times, it has recorded the height of floods and tsunamis in various ways on land. Since the early 17th century, it is often indicated by stone or stake monuments of flood water level marks, but in ancient times, there was a possibility to inform the height of flood level by building a shrine. Research has also begun to match the location of old shrines and temples with data on floods and tsunamis. In general, it is thought that more than 1,100 years have passed since the founding of the old shrines called "Shikinaisya", and it is likely to be used for such data. However, Morita shrine which is "Shikinaisya" was greatly damaged by 2019 flood. We considered what kind of shrine was suitable for data use from the example of Morita Shrine or others. In addition, we considered the appropriateness of flood hazard maps from the records of ancient shrines which was swept away. As a result, it was found that some of the candidates for the ancient shrine indicated the level of flooding, some shrines were washed away many times and they were considered to have been rebuilt or changed their place. And the expected flood area of the current hazard map was almost agreed with the records of the ancient shrine where the buildings were washed away.departmental bulletin pape

Study on Disaster Information Acquisition Method using Content Centric Network
application/pdf論文(Article)In this study, I conducted experiments of a disaster information acquisition method using a content centric network and moving routers, and verified the usefulness of information acquisition by using moving routers and caches in the event of a natural disaster. In a field experiment using moving routers by constructing a small-scale network assuming a local natural disaster, I measured the data acquisition time of disaster information acquired from the publisher and cache. In addition, in a simulation experiment by constructing a large-scale network assuming a wide-area natural disaster, I measured the average number of hops and the average data download time. As a result, this study showed the usefulness of information acquisition in cache utilization in both field experiments and simulations.departmental bulletin pape

A Direct Teaching Method for Offline Robot Programming
application/pdf論文(Article)This paper summarizes several robot programming approaches and presents a direct teaching method for robot programming of manipulators. A human operator wearing a head-mounted display and hand-held controllers manipulates a spherical marker in the computational space to determine a desired position of the manipulator. A depth camera attached to the manipulator acquires a point cloud of the surroundings of the manipulator to construct the scanned map in the computational space. The desired posture of the manipulator can be found by solving an inverse kinematics problem.departmental bulletin pape
Comparison of distribution patterns between two clades of Liobagrus reinii in coexisting rivers using environmental DNA metabarcoding
論文(Article)Recently, it has become clear that there are two clades in Liobagrus reinii, which can reasonably be judged as separate species. In this study, we attempted to clarify the differences in distribution and habitat of the two clades of Liobagrus reinii in the Gonokawa and the Ota River Systems by using environmental DNA analysis metabarcoding. In the Gonokawa River System, the number of the present sites and environmental DNA concentrations of clade 1 were higher than those of clade 2. In the Ota River System, the number of the present sites and environmental DNA concentrations of clade 2 were higher than those of clade 1. In both river systems, clade 1 tended to be found at lower elevations and clade 2 at higher elevations.departmental bulletin pape
Development of a Public Assistance System using Disaster Response Records
application/pdf論文(Article)Various natural disasters such as earthquakes, typhoons, and heavy rains occur every year in Japan. When a natural disaster occurs, each local government establishes disaster response headquarters and makes efforts for disaster response. However, since a large amount of information is gathered at the disaster response headquarters, it is difficult to quickly organize and share these pieces of information. Therefore, we developed a public assistance system to support quick disaster response by utilizing past disaster response records. The public assistance system supports a quick grasp of past disaster response information by using a full text retrieving engine.departmental bulletin pape
