Students’ Mathematical Connection Ability viewed from Self-Efficacy in Statistics
This research is a qualitative research. The purpose of this study is to describe students' mathematical connection abilities in terms of self-efficacy. Data collection techniques in qualitative research include (1) questionnaires, (2) interviews, and (3) documentation of students' work as supporting data for analysis. Data analysis in qualitative research includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. From this study it can be concluded that students with high self-efficacy are able to relate the 3 indicators of mathematical connection ability well, which means students with high self-efficacy will also have high mathematical connection ability. Students with moderate self-efficacy are only able to connect 2 indicators of mathematical connection ability well because students tend not to because these students lack understanding of the concepts being taught and students with low self-efficacy are only able to relate 1 indicator of mathematical connection ability well because students are less able connecting mathematical concepts. Likewise, student self-efficacy is still in the low category, this is because students still seem hesitant in working on a problem. Using Augmented Reality-Based e-Book for Improving Students’ Learning Motivation in Analytical Geometry Course
In the development of science and technology in the world of education, students need to be introduced to a variety of varied learning media, one of which is the use of augmented reality-based e-books. The ability to learn analytic geometry requires systematic, logical and critical thinking that can be developed through learning. The purpose of this study is to test the increase in learning motivation using augmented reality based e-book media in analytic geometry course. The method in this study using ADDIE which consists of five stages which include analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The result of the research is that the average result of the questionnaire given by students from various aspects of the assessment is 86%. Meanwhile, based on learning outcomes, there is a difference in learning outcomes between midterm exam score and the e-book score, which is 9.18 and based on the results of the analysis using SPSS on the t-test, it is found that tcount = 4.768 > ttable = 2.015. From these results, it can be concluded that augmented reality-based e-book media in analytic geometry courses can motivate students as a technology based learning medium for students of mathematics study program at Universitas Billfath. Teaching Students about Education for Sustainable Development through E-module of Indonesian Traditional Fermented Food
The limitations of teaching materials that add values to Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) open up opportunities to develop supplementary teaching materials that integrate ESD with the latest information technology to support 21st-century skills. This study aims to develop a science e-module containing ESD theme of Indonesian traditional fermented food to build students' creative thinking skills, and sustainability awareness. The e-module development is carried out with the ADDIE development model. This study describes (1) a description of the development stages and (2) a description of the validation of the e-module in terms of mapping ESD aspects, creative thinking skills, and sustainability awareness, and a description of the validation of the e-module media display. The results of data analysis show that the results of data analysis show that the validation of mapping aspects of ESD and media obtained the categories of "excellent" and "good". There were several suggestions given by experts on e-modules and had been improved based on these suggestions. It can be concluded that the ESD e-module deserves to be implemented on a limited and wider scale. Ethnomatematics-Based Mobile Learning Design to Improve Self-Regulated Learning
This study aims to produce ethnomatematic-based mobile learning that can be implemented so that it can improve student self-regulated learning. The research design used was the pre and posttest group design. The experimental and control groups will be given a pretest before treatment and a posttest after treatment. The population used was elementary school students and the sample used was 439 consisting of 215 students from the experimental class and 224 students from the control class. Data analysis in this study used statistical data processing software IBM SPSS version 27. Based on the summary of the results of the independent t test, the value of Sig. (2-tailed) on the posttest data of <0.001. This value is smaller than the specified significance level of 0.05. This means that the averages of the experimental and control groups at the time of the posttest were significantly different. The results of the analysis of self-regulated learning show that the analysis carried out on self regulated learning only obtained complete data on 134 students from the experimental class and 134 from the control class. The research results in the experimental class show that the learning planning variable is in the high category. The conclusion from this research is that the results of learning with mobile learning with ethnomathematics content on self-regulated learning can improve student learning outcomes so that they can be implemented in schools. Keywords: mobile learning, ethnomathematics, self-regulated learning, learning outcomes.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v23i4.pp1692-170

One Decade Trends of Virtual Reality Publication in Physics (2012-2021)
This bibliometric Study aims to scope the trend of virtual reality (VR) publications in physics for 2012-2021 with Scopus and Google Scolar as literature sources. The results of bibliometric study show that the trend in VR research increased annually. In one decade, 68 published papers indicated the growth of VR research in physics. About 60% of papers were published in conference proceedings. The mapping of papers' origin identified the United States as the top country contributing to VR research publications and the leading publishers of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc. and Springer. VR research has been growing well in developed countries. Meanwhile, developing countries seem to follow the trend that can be seen from the author's origins. “Virtual reality, physics, application, study, and use” are often used as keywords by the authors. The top three authors were identified from Kazakhstan, namely Y. Daineko, M. Ipalakova, and D. Tsoy. Indonesia also contributed with two publications from Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Fisika (JPPF) and Jurnal Pendidikan Indonesia (JPI). Even though this study has limitations in exploring the trend based on specific keywords, periods, and sources, these results are valued as a stepping stone in framing VR research in the future. Context-Based Chemistry Learning: A Systematic Literature Review
This study aimed to examine the impact of context-based chemistry learning on cognitive, affective, psychomotor, and social aspects of students, integration of context-based learning with chemistry learning models or strategies, and implementation of effective context based chemistry learning. A total of 34 articles for further analysis were obtained from SCOPUS, ERIC, and Google Scholar database through systematic literature (SLR) method. The result of analysis showed that (1) context-based chemistry learning has a positive effect improving student’s cognitive, affective, psychomotor, and social aspects, (2) context-based chemistry learning can be integrated with certain learning models or strategies and presentation of learning context carried out at the beginning of learning, (3) the implementation of effective context-based chemistry learning can be done by considering several aspects including the selection of appropriate and applicable learning contexts, teacher master the concepts of learning materials and students actively participated in each learning syntax that is applied. Keywords: context-based learning, chemistry learning, systematic literature review.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v23i4.pp1446-146
Strategies to Minimize Students’ Learning Obstacle in Fractions: A Grounded Theory
: Fractions are a fundamental mathematical concept that is quite important for life. However, the existing facts prove that fraction concepts in mathematics are a problem that has become a learning obstacle for students in schools. Therefore, this study aims to find alternative strategies to minimize the learning obstacle. The researcher then used a grounded theory design to find this strategy. Researchers also combined research design with phenomenology to find the core categories. Researchers used systematic analysis (open, axial, and selective), combined with thematic analysis with NVivo-12. The analysis results revealed that ontogenic in the form of participants were unable to simplify, determine equivalent fractions, and carelessness was the most significant learning obstacle. The strategy obtained was the use of a didactic design based on a didactical situation in collaboration with didactical design research, which would minimize student learning barriers on fractions.
