Development of Moodle-Based E-Learning Media on the Topics of Atomic Structure
The goal of this study is to develop e-learning media based on Moodle for atomic structure material, as well as to determine the feasibility of the media and the teacher's response to it. With the ADDIE method derived from Dick and Carrey, this study is included in Research and Development (R&D). Media experts, materials experts, and chemistry teachers are among the study's subjects. Expert validation questionnaires and teacher response questionnaires. The study's findings were that e-learning media based on moodle on atomic structure material had a media feasibility score of 92.8 percent with very feasible criteria and a material feasibility score of 91.7 percent with very feasible criteria. The responses chemistry teachers from Langsa Senior High School yielded an average of 87 percent with very interesting criteria. Effectiveness of Guided Discovery-Based Worksheets to Improve Learning Outcomes in Acid-Base Concept
This research was conducted to develop students’ worksheets based on guided discovery learning on acid-base materials. This student worksheet will be the basic content for developing a content learning system to improve the learning outcomes of 11th grade high school students in the pandemic era. Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model is the research method used. Based on the research that has been carried out, the validity as measured by the Aiken's V formula is 0.85 which indicates that the developed students’ worksheets are valid. The value of practicality of teachers and students was obtained by 84% and 88% which indicated the very practical category. Then, the N-Gain value obtained is 54.68% which indicates that worksheet is effective in improving student learning outcomes. So it can be concluded that this student worksheet is valid, practical, and effective to be used as a basic content in developing a content learning system based on guided discovery learning on acid and base. Development of Missouri Mathematics Project Learning Worksheet to Improve Mathematical Communication and Critical Thinking Skill
This study aims to develop a valid, effective, and practical mathematics learning tool. This study aims to develop student worksheets based on mathematical communication and critical thinking on data presentation material. The type of research conducted by researchers is research and development (R&D). This worksheet development model uses 4-D, namely the model from Thiagajar, among others: Define (defining), Design (design), Develop (development), Disseminate (deployment). Based on the purpose of this study, the worksheet develop by the researcher was declared valid with a final score of 3.89 which was obtained from the validation sheet of all instruments given to the two validators, namely lecturers and teachers and showed that it was feasible to be tested on students. The worksheets developed by the researchers were stated to be very practical with a final score of 84,93%, meaning that the worksheets were easy to use and achieved the learning objectives that had been determined. The worksheet developed by the researchers showed a very effective category with an average final score of 5.86% and an average N-Gain score of 0.55 and the percentage of N-gain scores was 55.73% with a moderate improvement category, meaning that the worksheet had influence on students so as to bring results in achieving learning objectives.Keywords: students’ worksheet, Missouri mathematics project, mathematical communication, critical thinking.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v23i1.pp57-6
The Effect of Discovery-Based Blended Learning towards Learning Performance of High School Students in Linear Motion
This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the video-assisted discovery learning model that is implemented with blended learning on the concept of straight motion in high school. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Kabila using the experimental method and the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. This design has a pretest before being given treatment and a posttest after being given treatment. From the N-gain test data, the average pretest value is 5.30 and the posttest average value is 76.30. The normalized N-gain value is 0.75 in the high category. Hypothesis testing on the data obtained tcount of 58.13 while the value of ttable at a significance level of 5% is 2.03452. Thus tcount > ttable So it can be concluded that there is an effect of student learning outcomes after the application of the discovery learning learning model assisted by video implementation of blended learning on the concept of straight motion in high school Keywords: blended learning, discovery learning, high school students. The Role of Interactive E-books Problem Based Learning to Enhance Higher Order Thinking Skills Ability: Teacher’s Perception
This study aimed to describe teacher's perception toward usage of interactive e-books based Problem Based Learning (PBL) to Envhance Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The research was conducted in 50 junior high school science teachers. The method used in this research is a mixed method with Sequential Explanatory Design. The method used in this study is a mixed method with Sequential Explanatory Design. Data is retrieved using questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The survey results show that students have a positive perception of interactive e-books based PBL. The results of the analysis of e-books, most eachers have not used interactive e-books with a PBL approach to provide an understanding of science. E-books that have not trained students' HOTS are also included in the low category because teacher has not set strategies, methods, models and lack of knowledge about technology. Development of Science Digital Comics as a Learning Media of Human Digestive System to Improve Students' Reading Interest
The low score of MAN 1 Medan students in Biology material is due to the low interest in reading. The purpose of this study is to find out how to develop digital comic-based learning media and the influence of the use of digital comics on reading interest in human digestive system material. This type of research uses the ADDIE development model. Which consists of five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Based on the results of material expert validation, the assessment achieved on average is very feasible with a percentage of 100%. Based on the validation results of media experts, the assessment achieved on average is very feasible with a percentage of 94%. And obtained an N-Gain score of 0.56 with a moderate category. It can be concluded that the applied digital comic learning media is effectively used to increase students' interest in reading with a moderate effectiveness category. Teachers' Perceptions toward Student Worksheets Based on Sugarcane Waste Treatment Projects to Improve Students' Creative Thinking Skills
This study aims to describe teachers’ perceptions towards students’ worksheets based on bagasse waste processing projects to improve students' creative thinking skills. This research was conducted in Lampung Province involving 42 junior high school science teachers. This study uses the ADDIE research and development method by Branch. At the analysis stage, performance analysis and needs analysis are carried out. At the development stage, two education experts validated the suitability of the content with project-based learning steps and indicators of creative thinking skills according to Torrance and validated the suitability of the construction with the components of the student worksheets. At the implementation stage, it will be tested in class VII at SMP Negeri 3 Kotabumi. The evaluation stage is by evaluating the results of students after the learning is carried out. Implementation of Project Based Learning in Mathematics Capita Selecta for Elementary School
Mathematics Capita Selecta For Elementary School is a course that aims to produce students who are able to find solutions to problems that occur in learning mathematics in elementary schools. To achieve this, implementing the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model is the right choice, because PjBL is a student-centered learning model. This study aims to find out impact of the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model which is applied to the Mathematics Capita Selecta for Elementary School course. The subjects in this study were 31 students of the Mathematics Education Study Program University of Bengkulu 2021/2022 who took the courses. Data collection method used is open-ended tests and surveys using questionnaire response. Research results show that students’ learning outcome is at the value of 75 obtained from the t test using SPSS software, where obtained P-Value>0,05. Development of a Problem-Solving Oriented Interactive E-Module as a Learning Media on the Topic of Biodiversity
The purpose of the research is to obtain an interactive e-module learning media oriented to the problem-solving skills of biodiversity materials that are valid, practical, and effective. This type of research is 4D model development research (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The results found that the validity test of the assessment of material expert validators, media experts, and teachers was sequentially scored (x) 95.10%, 85.83%, and 94.17% (very good). The practicality test for the implementation of learning in small groups and large group trials was scored (x) 94.12%, student activity was sequentially scored 85% and 87.62%, and student responses were sequentially scored 85% and 87.9% (all of these results belonged to the category of " very practical"). The effectiveness test of the N-Gain value in small group trials (0.64 "quite effective') and large groups (0.70 "effective"). Investigations into Whiteboard Fox's Use in Mathematics Learning Accommodates 21st Century Skills
21st century skills should ideally be able to provide a foundation to today's learning. The purpose of this study intends to investigate the use of whiteboard fox in mathematics learning that accommodates 21st century skills. Qualitative research methods with case study types are used to uncover 21st century skills in mathematics learning using whiteboard fox. The research site is located in one of the North Jakarta State High Schools. Purposive sampling techniques were used to answer research questions in which out of 31 students 10 students were selected who were assumed to be able to provide saturated information as well as a primary data source. Data collection techniques use structured interviews with reference to 21st century skill indicators in the context of the use of whiteboard fox in mathematics learning. Data were analyzed using the 2022 version of MAXQDA through coding, sub-coding, in-vivo and MAXMaps visualization processes. The results showed various aspects that emerged in mathematics learning using whiteboard fox related to 21st century skills. Keywords: whiteboard fox, 21st century skills, math learning.
