    Using E-Comics Based on Realistic Mathematics Education in Transformation Geometry

    The very rapid development of technology in the era of Society 5.0, requires lecturers to package learning that is interesting for students, one of which is with media and learning approaches from abstract material to concrete material. The purpose of this research is to produce e-comic products with a realistic approach. mathematics education in geometry transformation courses that can be used in online tutorials for 4th semester mathematics education study program students at Universitas Terbuka. This research method uses the Dick & Carey development design by including eight steps. Based on the results of student questionnaire responses using e-comic media with a realistic mathematics education approach, namely based on the results of student assessment responses, an average value of 86% was obtained, which means that e-comic media is classified as good as a learning medium. Meanwhile, based on the test of the effectiveness of the use of media on students, it is obtained tcount 3.285 > ttable 2.002 from the two results from the t-test through comparison it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that it means that there is a difference in the average learning outcomes between tutor class scores and the class media score.     The Effect of The Problem Based Learning on Students Science Process Skills in Learning Physics: A Meta Analysis

    Revolution 4.0 requires humans to have 21st century skills. The 21st century guides human resources that are able to compete with the wider community, so the government seeks to improve human resources through education. Thinking skills that are expected to achieve optimal learning outcomes are science process skills, because with these thinking skills students will be able to build meaning and confirm their understanding of a physical concept symptom and emphasize the importance of direct experience involvement in the learning process. The learning model that emphasizes learning as a process that involves solving problems in an actual context is the Problem based Learning model. Based on the description above, it can be stated that there are several researchers who have conducted research on the effect of problem based learning models on students' science process skills.     Exploration of Fort Marlborough Bengkulu and Its Implications for Mathematics Learning in School

    This study aims to describe the facts, concepts, principles, and mathematical operations contained in the ethnomathematics of Fort Marlborough Bengkulu. This research is qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. The subjects in this study were seven: one Bengkulu history expert, two Marlborough Fort synthesizers, two mathematicians, and two Bengkulu City mathematics teachers. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed through three stages, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the research found include, there are mathematical facts on the ethnomathematics of the Marlborough fort Bengkulu, Facts in the form of points, wake-up webs, lines, and line segments. Concepts: flat build, space build, trigonometry on the building and courtyard of Fort Marlborough.     Improving Problem Solving Skills of High School Students using Online Discovery Learning in Chemical Equilibrium

    This research was aimed to describe the improvement of students problem solving skills through discovery learning and student readiness in online learning. This study is a quasi experimental design using a nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The population were all students of class XI MIPA SMAN 3 Bandar Lampung. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Problem solving skills, student readiness in online learning were analyzed by independent t-test and correlation test. The results showed: (1) discovery learning is effective to improve problem solving skills on chemical equilibrium material; (2) there is a significant relationship between self-control and problem solving skills; (3) there is a significant relationship between the efficacy of using the internet in online learning with problem solving skills; (4) there is a significant relationship between self-control and the efficacy of using internet in online learning with problem solving skills. Keywords: online learning, student readiness, problem solving skills, discovery learning. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v23i2.pp400-40

    Development and Implementation of Interactive e-Module using Microsoft Sway to Improve Disaster Literacy Skills

    Disaster literacy needs to be introduced to provide understanding to students and minimize disaster risk. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of an interactive emodule based on Microsoft Sway which is valid and effective in increasing students’ literacy. The design of this study uses a 4D (four-D) Research dan Development (R&D) model. The research sample consisted of control and experimental classes with instruments in the form of test instruments, questionnaires, and interviews. Data analysis was based on n-gain data, effect size, and descriptive percentages of teacher and student responses. The percentages of construct, content, and language validation obtained were 84.68%,80.58%, and 86% respectively, with all valid criteria.     Effectiveness of the Think Talk Write Learning Strategy toward Concept Mastery of Cell for High School Biology Students

    In cells, many phenomena occur such as metabolism to protein synthesis, these become abstract and cause students to have difficulty understanding them. A good learning experience is needed so that students can understand the concept correctly. One learning strategy that provides a learning experience to discover and understand concepts is the Think Talk Write learning strategy. This study uses a pre-experimental design method. The subjects in this study were students of class XI science at Muhammadiyah 5 Rancaekek high school. Mastery of concepts measured in this study were C1 (memorization), C2 (understanding), C3 (application), and C4 (Analysis). Based on the results of data processing, the pretest value was 47.22 while the posttest value was 65.28. The results of the analysis using the paired sample TTest obtained from the pretest and posttest values of 0.00, this value indicates that sign <α = 0.00 <0.05.     The Effect of Problem Based Learning with Laboratory Activities on Students’ Problem-Solving Skills

    This research is motivated by the low problem-solving skills of students in the kinetic theory of gases and the lack of innovation in the use of models in physics learning. Efforts made by researchers to overcome these problems are by applying a laboratory-based PBL learning model. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the laboratory-based PBL learning model on students' problem-solving skills on gas kinetic theory material in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Cilimus. The research method used is a quasi-experimental research design with a pretest-posttest control group design.     Analysis of Students Mathematical Communication Ability in Solving Trigonometry Problems Reviewed from Students Learning Interests

    Mathematical communication ability have an important role for students in knowing their abilities when communicating their understanding. The purpose of this study is to analyse students’ mathematical communication ability in solving trigonometry problems in terms of interest in learning. This research uses qualitative descriptive research. The instrument used in this study were the questionnaire interest in learning, the mathematical ability test, and interview. The results of this study is mathematical communication ability is different for every subject both orally or writing related with interest in learning. And the conclusion of the study is mathematical communication ability in writing, subject with high interest learning still better than the subject interested in learning is medium and the interest in learning is low.     Implementation of the Case Method in Learning Mathematics to Improve the Creative Thinking Ability of Electronics Engineering Students

    Learning in class found that lecturers did not give students the opportunity to think creatively in solving math problems. Learning is still centered on the teacher so that communication is still one-way resulting in teacher dominance. The research objective resulted in the implementation of the case method in mathematics learning to improve the creative thinking skills of D4 Electronics Engineering students in solving mathematical problems. This type of research is experimental by using data collection documentation, questionnaires, observations and tests. The research was conducted in class 1B in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year with a total of 24 students discussing the Linear Equation System material. Data analysis used normality test, homogeneity test, completeness test, comparative test, and n-gain test. The results showed that the results of the validation of the research instrument were 4.11 in the good category. Individual completeness tests meet the minimum completeness criteria, students' creative thinking skills in case method group are higher (81.56) than expository learning (70.05).     Development of Environmental and Technology Literacy-Oriented Science Comics as a Learning Media on Environmental Pollution

    Learning media in schools has provided added value in the teaching and learning process. Science textbooks are not enough to achieve ideal learning. One of them is to use comics which can be said to be a pretty good visual medium. The purpose of this research is to produce an edutainment-based comic learning media that can improve students' environmental literacy and technological literacy. This study uses a research and development model (ADDIE). Researchers used data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaires and tests. The data is processed so that it can improve students' environmental literacy and technological literacy on environmental pollution materials. The subjects in this study were seventh grade students of the Bandung National Junior High School. The instrument used for data collection in this study was a test of environmental literacy and technological literacy. The data analysis technique used mixed type qualitative methods and at the time of product field testing with quantitative methods.
