    Profile of Students' Mathematical Critical Thinking Ability in Solving Flat Sides Geometry Problems

    Mathematical critical thinking is an important ability in learning mathematics. In fact, students' mathematical critical thinking ability still low. The purpose of this study to analyze students' mathematical critical thinking ability in the flat sided spaces material. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative, with subject students of class IX MTs Miftahuddin. The instruments are tests of mathematical critical thinking ability and interview guidelines. The test to determine students' mathematical critical thinking skills and interview guidelines to deepen the analysis. The result is each student can meet different indicators. Overall, the average mathematical critical thinking ability of MTs Miftahuddin students in solving flat sided space material is high. Because students understand the material well and use to solving questions in the form of word problems.     The purpose of this research is to determine the title and abstract about Development Of Android Mathematics in 2017-2022. The research data is taken from articles published online through Google Scholar with the keywords development of mathematics. Methods Data collection is done by checking and recording all data information about the number of articles, citations, and authors. The analysis used is full counting in the VOSViewer application. The total number of articles sampled in this study were 1000 articles with the technique of analyzing the image results obtained from the VOSviewer application, including Network visualization, Overlay visualization, and Density visualization.     The Effectiveness of Problem Based Learning Aided by Gamification Teaching Materials on Students' Mathematical Problem Solving Ability

    The low mathematical problem solving ability of junior high school students in Pringsewu, Lampung, Indonesia is because students understand the explanations given by the teacher and are less active during the learning process. The study was conducted to determine the differences in problem solving of students who follow the learning process using the PBL model using gamification teaching materials. The research uses quantitative methods with a quasi-experimental design type of research. The population used is junior high school students in Pringsewu, Lampung, Indonesia. The research sample used cluster random sampling technique. The data analysis used was one-way ANOVA analysis of variance with a significance level of 5% using SPSS which obtained a value of sig. <0.05 so H_0 is rejected, this indicates that there is an effect.     The Effect of Visual Learning Style and Problem Based Learning towards Mathematics Learning Outcomes Viewed from Emotional Intelligence

    This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of visual learning style using the Problem Based Learning model on learning outcomes in terms of the emotional intelligence of class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Menganti. The population used is class XI IPA and the selected sample is students of class XI IPA 2 and XI IPA 3 by applying the Problem Based Learning model. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires and student learning outcomes tests. From the results of the data analysis, the value of sig. (2-tailed) = 0.005 on the results of the visual learning style test with high emotional intelligence was obtained. Meanwhile, the visual style learning outcome test with moderate emotional intelligence obtained a value of sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 and the visual learning style with emotional intelligence obtained a value of sig. (2-tailed) = 0.001.     Mathematical Representation of High School Students in Understanding the Concept of Arithmetic Sequences and Series

    This study aims to describe the mathematical representation ability of class XI MA Sumber Payung students in understanding the concepts of arithmetic sequences and series. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The results obtained by students with high math skills in understanding the concepts of arithmetic sequences and series are in the form of representations of mathematical equations/expressions, where students can create mathematical equations or models from other representations given, solve problems involving mathematical expressions and representations of words/written texts. Students can write down what is known and asked in a data or information, so that in answering questions using words or written text.     Abilities and Difficulties of Ninth-Grade Students in Solving Geometry Transformation Problems

    Geometry is one of the challenging subjects for students. This study aimed to determine the ability of students to solve geometric transformation problems, the difficulties they experienced, and the causes. This research employed a mixed method with a sequential explanatory design. Eight Year 9 students were the subjects of this study. Data were collected through tests and interviews. The data were analyzed quantitatively, followed by qualitative analysis involving reducing data, presenting data, and concluding. The results indicated that the student's ability to solve geometric transformation problems was moderate. Students found it difficult to solve geometric transformation problems. The student's difficulties included determining the translation when a starting point and an image point were given and determining the image of a point/curve by a transformation.     High School Students’ Ability with Translation Among Mathematical Representations in Solving the HOTS-Based Problems

    Translation is considered as a step in transforming the information contained from the source representation to the destination representation. In the process of students doing mathematical translation there are four stages of activity, Unpacking the Source, Preliminary Coordination, Constructing the Target, and Determining Equivalence. This study aims to analyze the activities carried out by students in translating representations from graphic to symbolic, table to symbolic, and verbal to symbolic based on HOTS. This research was conducted at SMA Lamongan Regency with three research students in class XI who had learned about the concept of quadratic functions. The instruments used were translation questions and interview guidelines. The applied data analysis focused on four stages of translation activity which were then grouped according to (high, medium, and low categories).     Development of Dicot and Monocot Learning Media using Flannel and Cardboard to Improve Biology Learning Outcomes of Junior High School Stundets

    Learning media innovation Flanchard, or flannel and cardboard, evolved from bookbased image media into three-dimensional flannel flanchard media.The goal of this study is to create a flanchard-based learning medium that is reliable, useful, and efficient.The research methodology utilized is the research and development (R&D) ADDIE development model, which consists of the following five phases: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.The 24 students in class VIII at SMP Swasta Bina Siswa served as the study's subjects.Expert and media expert validation sheets for testing feasibility, practitioner validation sheets for testing practicality, pretest and posttest sheets, and student response sheets for testing effectiveness were the instruments used in the research.The study demonstrates that the developed Flanchard-based media is said to be very feasible with a percentage of 84%, very practical with a percentage of 86%, and very effective with an increase in learning in the high category, which was tested with n-gain with a score of 0.7 and participant responses.Keywords: Flanchard, biology learning outcomes, development research. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v23i3.pp1308-1319

    Implementation of Accelerated Learning to Improve Mathematics Communication Ability

    The four skills needed in the 21st century are often abbreviated as 4Cs, including communication skills. This research is an attempt to determine students' mathematical communication skills and student responses in learning mathematics. The purpose of this study was to determine the significant improvement in communication skills and to determine student responses to the implementation of accelerated learning. This research uses Quasi Experimental Design with Non-equivalent Control Group Design. Pretest and Posttest in the form of quantitative data in the form of description questions and non-test (questionnaire) in the form of qualitative data. The research was carried out at SMPN 4 Purwadadi with the research population in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. Sampling using purposive sampling method. The instruments used are test and non-test instruments. The test instrument for students' mathematical communication skills is in the form of description questions and nontest in the form of student response questionnaires. The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of the use of Google Classroom on the independence of learning, use of Google Classroom for results learn mathematics, use Google Classroom independence of learning and learning outcomes of mathematics, as well as the influence between independence of learning on effects of study mathematics in students of State Vocational High School 3 Kupang. This research uses a type of quantitative research with survey methods.
