În: Strategii şi politici de management în economia contemporană [Resursă electronică]: conf. şt. intern., ediţia a 7-a, 9-10 iunie 2022. Chişinău: ASEM, 2022, pp. 178-187. ISBN 978-9975-147-65-1 (PDF).The processes of circular economy are based on reusing and recycling of sources, materials and products in order to ensure three-dimensional sustainable development - ecosystem (natural capital), economic (product and financial capital), human well-being (social and human capital). At the same time, the objectives of a circular economy developing mast be incorporated not only in national and sectorial strategies, but also transposed into the objectives of local and regional development’ strategies. It aims the involvement of the product life cycle’ actors - extractors and suppliers of raw materials, designers, manufacturers, distributors, consumers and managers of reuse and recycling processes - to be part of the decision-making process. In such vision, the effect of the circular economy will result from the meeting of “bottom-up” initiatives (specific actions involving local organizations seeking synergy with partners at the same level or wishing to expand or diversify their activities) with “top-down” approaches (planning and coordination to facilitate links between lower level entities). This paper summarizes the vision of the European Union about the future development based on circular economy’ principles, which must be taken by the Republic of Moldova policy makers on the way to the integration of the national economy in the Common European Area. MIGOVA, Xenia. Gravity Model Approach for Exports Analysis of Republic of Moldova Between 2010 and 2021. European Journal of Regional Studies. December 2022, vol. 8, issue 2, pp. 158-167. ISSN 2537-6179, E-ISSN 1857-436X.This paper explores the effects of determinants of bilateral trade on export flows of Republic of Moldova during last decade in the framework of gravity model. Being a structural model with solid theoretical foundations it proves that markets are linked and changes in one partner country can cause changes in trade performance of another partner country. The variables include trade partner’s GDP, economic distance, and Association Agreement membership. Specifically, the model relies on a fixed effect panel estimation for explaining the export flows of the Republic of Moldova. In order to check the viability of the gravity equation, there are executed statistical tests. Based on the analysis, there are provided policy recommendations for trade policy. Chişinău: ASEM, 2022, vol. 1, pp. 74-78. ISBN 978-9975-3590-2-3 (PDF).The arms trade is among the most profitable businesses in the world, with predictable growth year on year. International major arms shipments declined slightly between 2012–16 and 2017–21, but increased by 19% in Europe. The arms trade becomes trafficking in arms when transactions are made in violation of existing arms laws. According to the global organized crime index, the global arms trafficking score is 4.92 (out of 10). Libya has the highest score of arms and ammunition trafficking in the world (9.50), and the last place in the report is occupied by Tuvalu and Nauru (score 1.00). Also, in connection with the current war in Ukraine, which is overwhelmed by donations from all the states of the world, it does not have the means to prevent the diversion of weapons in the existing illegality of the arms trade. CEPRAGA, Lucia, GOGOI, Elena. The pedagogical dimension of the physical learning environment in the university system. In: Competitiveness and Innovation in the Knowledge Economy [online]: 26th International Scientific Conference: Conference Proceeding, September 23-24, 2022. Chişinău: ASEM, 2022, pp. 204-212. ISBN 978-9975-3590-6-1 (PDF).Nowadays there are unlimited opportunities to learn anytime and anywhere, in various environments, whether physical or digital, formal, informal, or non-formal. The teaching staff aims to create a learning environment that facilitates, stimulates, and optimizes the students' abilities to learn to easily adapt to the dynamic changes of society. The present paper showcases the learning context as a physical dimension of the learning environment. It is commonly accepted that the physical classroom represents an agent of change. It has also been assumed that each adjustment in the physical learning environment will produce deep transformations in the education system. Moreover, the learning space will reconceptualize the entire educational philosophy. Living in a highly globalized and digitalized era, the learning context has been explored from the perspective of introducing dual education at the university level, both at the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova and the Technical University of Moldova. The dual education framework in professional technical education has been adopted as a platform that enables universities to prepare students fully equipped for their jobs. The dual education approach has also been analysed from the perspective of strengthening student learning since it provides a real-life environment that makes the learners combine theory with practice. While the theoretical courses are carried out at university, in traditional lecture halls or labs, the practical classes are organized in the company. The partnerships between the university and the industry will only contribute to forging a synergy between traditional and modern, theory and practice, classroom and real-life environments. Through this form of learning, our students will be more connected with the labour market, and the academic staff will manage to create a more efficient and more impactful learning process.
