HABITAT FOR HUMANITY FUNDRAISER WINNER :
 . . .and the winner is Traci Thompson.  Her ticket was drawn from thousands of others  
on April 28th.  An alumna of Stony Brook, she currently works at the Health Sciences  
Center as Assistant Director for Advising in the School of Health Technology and  
Management. 
Maybe next year someone from the libraries will win a get-away.  I, for one, was thinking 
about the four people who would come along to Disney World if I won.  Oh well . .  
AND MORE HABITAT NEWS -
Our libraries raised $380.00 in ticket sales and $60.00 in donations, which included 
money from the apron and basket raffle held at the Harvest Festival .  Anthony 
Bozzanca won the library raffle for the Borders gift certificate .  THANKS TO ALL WHO 
PARTICIPATED!
 EARTHSTOCK: 
Although Earthstock has come and gone, if you did not experience it first hand you have 
an opportunity to see what went on.  How?  By going to LiB_Staff share file and double 
click Earthstock 2006.  Then double click HTML Document.  Our own Keith Krejci took 
the shots - he really knows how to take good photographs! There must be 175 photos in 
all.
As part of Earthstock, volunteers spruced up the campus.  Chris, Meredith, Flora, 
Hanne, Mary, Johng, Kristen R. and Maryanne were part of the campus efforts.  Not 
sure if we left with green thumbs or brown thumbs due to spreading all the topsoil.
DO YOU HAVE ANY?
Rather than buying more interoffice envelopes, we'd like to recycle the ones in our 
buildings.  Director's Office is looking for any LARGE envelopes that staff may have 
tucked away.  Just drop them off at Maryannes' desk and they will be gladly received!
