Pendampingan dalam Pelaksanaan Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) dengan Tema Kearifan Lokal: Inovasi Pengolahan Amparan Tatak Berbahan Ubi Ungu di SMA Negeri 1 Loa Janan
Tujuan dari Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pendampingan kepada siswa agar dapat memfasilitasi dalam proses belajar, termasuk dalam hal pengembangan keterampilan praktis dan kerja sama. Adanya pendampingan ini, siswa dapat lebih mudah berkolaborasi dalam kelompok serta dapat berbagi ide dan belajar dari satu sama lain dalam kegiatan P5 (Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila) yang dirancang dengan tema kearifan lokal melalui pelatihan pembuatan Amparan Tatak Ubi Ungu kepada siswa SMA 1 Loa Janan. Kegiatan ini mengadopsi pendekatan Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) yang berfokus pada pemanfaatan potensi lokal secara berkelanjutan. Jenis dari penelitian ini adalah kegiatan pengabdian Masyarakat, metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development). Kegiatan ini melibatkan siswa kelas XII dengan total peserta 36 orang yang dibagi menjadi empat kelompok. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama 1 hari, kegiatan ini dirancang dalam beberapa tahap yang terdiri atas tahap Discovery, Dream, Design, dan Destiny. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan yang sangat bagus dalam pemahaman siswa mengenai kearifan lokal dan keterampilan membuat Amparan Tatak Ubi Ungu. Secara kuantitatif, tingkat partisipasi siswa sangat memuaskan dan siswa menyatakan kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat dalam meningkatkan kreativitas dan kemampuan berinovasi. Inovasi utama dalam pengabdian ini adalah penggabungan metode ABCD dengan pelatihan kewirausahaan, memberikan siswa keterampilan praktis yang tidak hanya melestarikan budaya lokal tetapi juga membuka peluang ekonomi. Kedepannya, produk yang dihasilkan diharapkan mampu menjadi produk unggulan yang dapat dikenal lebih luas dan menjadi insipirasi bagi pengembangan potensi lokal di masa depan.
Assistance in Implementing the Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile Project (P5) With the Theme of Local Wisdom: Innovation in Processing Amparan Tatak Made from Purple Sweet Potato at SMA Negeri 1 Loa Janan
Abstract
The purpose of this Community Service is to provide assistance to students in order to facilitate the learning process, including in terms of developing practical skills and cooperation. With this assistance, students can more easily collaborate in groups and can share ideas and learn from each other in P5 activities (Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project) which is designed with the theme of local wisdom through training in making Purple Sweet Potato Tatak Amparan to students of SMA 1 Loa Janan. This activity adopts the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach which focuses on the sustainable utilization of local potential. The type of this research is community service activities, the method used in this study is the ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development) method. This activity involved grade XII students with a total of 36 participants divided into four groups. This activity was carried out for 1 day, this activity was designed in several stages consisting of the Discovery, Dream, Design, and Destiny stages. The results of the activity showed a very good improvement in students' understanding of local wisdom and skills in making Amparan Tatak Yam Purple. Quantitatively, the level of student participation was very satisfactory and students stated that this activity was very useful in increasing creativity and innovation skills. A key innovation in this service is the incorporation of the ABCD method with entrepreneurship training, providing students with practical skills that not only preserve the local culture but also open up economic opportunities. In the future, the products produced are expected to be able to become superior products that can be known more widely and become an inspiration for the development of local potential in the future
Revitalisasi Konservasi Penyu Melalui Wisata Pendidikan di Desa Hadiwarno Pacitan
Desa Hadiwarno, Kecamatan Ngadirojo, Kabupaten Pacitan, merupakan kawasan pesisir dengan potensi besar untuk konservasi penyu, terutama di Pantai Taman yang menjadi satu-satunya lokasi bertelur penyu di Pacitan. Upaya konservasi yang dilakukan sejak 2012, namun, keberhasilan ini tidak diikuti oleh keberlanjutan partisipasi masyarakat, penguatan ekonomi pelaku konservasi, dan pengelolaan organisasi yang memadai. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan tujuan revitalisasi konservasi melalui pembentukan wisata pendidikan berbasis konservasi penyu. Langkah strategis dimulai dengan pembentukan tim khusus yang bertugas mengelola wisata pendidikan, penyusunan program kerja yang terstruktur, pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas anggota tim dan masyarakat, serta pembangunan wahana edukasi seperti pusat informasi dan museum mini. Wisata pendidikan ini tidak hanya bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat luas tentang pentingnya pelestarian penyu, tetapi juga menjadi sumber pendanaan yang berkelanjutan bagi kegiatan konservasi. Program ini berhasil meningkatkan partisipasi anggota hingga 85%, keaktifan kegiatan sebesar 82.5%, dan tingkat kepuasan pengunjung mencapai 77.5%. Meskipun menunjukkan hasil positif, evaluasi program mengidentifikasi perlunya perbaikan dalam keterampilan tim untuk memandu pengunjung secara lebih interaktif, pengadaan alat peraga edukasi, dan peningkatan fasilitas pendukung. Dengan pelatihan lanjutan dan evaluasi berkala, program ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model keberlanjutan konservasi yang mengintegrasikan pelestarian keanekaragaman hayati dengan pengembangan pariwisata berbasis edukasi. Melalui pendekatan ini, Desa Hadiwarno diharapkan tidak hanya menjadi pusat konservasi penyu, tetapi juga destinasi wisata pendidikan yang mendukung kesejahteraan masyarakat lokal dan memperkuat posisi Indonesia dalam pelestarian lingkungan secara global.
Revitalization of Turtle Conservation Through Educational Tourism in Hadiwarno Village, Pacitan
Abstract
Hadiwarno Village, Ngadirojo District, Pacitan Regency, is a coastal area with great potential for turtle conservation, especially in Taman Beach which is the only turtle egg-laying location in Pacitan. Conservation efforts have been carried out since 2012, however, this success has not been followed by sustainable community participation, strengthening the economy of conservation actors, and adequate organizational management. This community service activity was carried out with the aim of revitalizing conservation through the formation of educational tourism based on turtle conservation. The strategic steps began with the formation of a special team tasked with managing educational tourism, preparing a structured work program, training to increase the capacity of team members and the community, and building educational facilities such as information centers and mini museums. This educational tourism not only aims to provide education to the wider community about the importance of turtle conservation, but also becomes a source of sustainable funding for conservation activities. This program succeeded in increasing member participation by 85%, activity activity by 82.5%, and visitor satisfaction levels reaching 77.5%. Although showing positive results, the program evaluation identified the need for improvements in team skills to guide visitors more interactively, procurement of educational props, and improvement of supporting facilities. With continued training and periodic evaluation, this program is expected to become a model for sustainable conservation that integrates biodiversity conservation with educational tourism development. Through this approach, Hadiwarno Village is expected to not only become a center for turtle conservation, but also an educational tourism destination that supports the welfare of local communities and strengthens Indonesia's position in global environmental conservation
Pendampingan Guru SDU Permata Mulia Malang dalam Mengembangkan Modul Ajar Berbasis Project-Based Learning
Sebagai sekolah baru, SDU Permata Mulia menghadapi permasalahan mendesak berupa belum tersusunnya modul ajar berbasis Project-Based Learning (PjBL). PjBL merupakan salah satu keunggulan yang ditawarkan oleh sekolah kepada orang tua sebagai bagian dari upaya branding dan keunggulan, namun demikian sekolah perlu pendampingan dalam implementasinya. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan penyusunan modul ajar berbasis PjBL yang sesuai dengan Kurikulum Merdeka untuk jenjang sekolah dasar. Pengabdian dilaksanakan di SDU Permata Mulia melalui pendekatan pelatihan dan pendampingan intensif. Pelatihan difokuskan pada penguatan konsep dasar PjBL, penyusunan modul ajar, dan implementasinya dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan dan pendampingan telah terlaksana dengan baik, menghasilkan sejumlah capaian penting, termasuk meningkatnya pemahaman guru terhadap konsep PjBL dan kemampuan mereka dalam menyusun serta mengimplementasikan modul ajar berbasis PjBL secara efektif. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah bahwa pelatihan dan pendampingan yang diberikan mampu membantu guru menyusun modul ajar yang komprehensif dan relevan, sekaligus meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran di SDU Permata Mulia, meskipun belum dapat dikatakan efektif karena hal ini membutuhkan riset/quasi-experiment. Program ini diharapkan dapat menjadi langkah awal dalam menciptakan ekosistem pembelajaran yang inovatif dan berbasis PjBL, mendukung pengembangan keterampilan siswa yang esensial di abad ke-21.
Assistance of SDU Permata Mulia Malang Teachers in Developing Project-Based Learning-Based Teaching Modules
Abstract
As a new school, SDU Permata Mulia faces an urgent problem in the form of not having compiled a Project-Based Learning (PjBL)-based teaching module. PjBL is one of the advantages offered by the school to parents as part of branding and excellence efforts, however, the school needs assistance in its implementation. This community service activity aims to provide training and assistance in compiling PjBL-based teaching modules that are in accordance with the Merdeka Curriculum for elementary school level. Community service is carried out at SDU Permata Mulia through an intensive training and mentoring approach. The training focuses on strengthening the basic concepts of PjBL, compiling teaching modules, and implementing them in the learning process. The results of the activity show that the training and mentoring have been carried out well, resulting in a number of important achievements, including increasing teachers' understanding of the PjBL concept and their ability to compile and implement PjBL-based teaching modules effectively. The conclusion of this activity is that the training and mentoring provided can help teachers compile comprehensive and relevant teaching modules, while improving the quality of the learning process at SDU Permata Mulia, although it cannot be said to be effective because this requires research/quasi-experiment. This program is expected to be the first step in creating an innovative and PjBL-based learning ecosystem, supporting the development of essential student skills in the 21st century
Inovasi Pengolahan Tandan Kosong Kelapa Sawit menjadi Kompos untuk Mendukung Pertanian Ramah Lingkungan di Kelurahan Bangkal Kecamatan Cempaka
Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara penghasil kelapa sawit terbesar di dunia. Namun, keberhasilan ini juga menghasilkan tantangan berupa limbah biomassa, salah satunya adalah tandan kosong kelapa sawit. Desa Bangkal merupakan salah satu wilayah yang memiliki potensi akses terhadap limbah tandan kosong kelapa sawit dari perkebunan kelapa sawit di sekitarnya. Namun, penggunaan limbah ini di tingkat masyarakat masih sangat minim dan belum optimal sehingga potensi untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui pengelolaan limbah ini belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal. Akan tetapi Pupuk organik berbasis tandan kosong kelapa sawit mampu memperbaiki struktur tanah dan meningkatkan produksi tandan buah segar hingga 34% dibandingkan pemupukan standar. Pengabdian kepada masyarat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan pelatihan kepada masyarakat mengenai pemanfaatan tandan kosong kelapa sawit sebagai bahan baku pupuk organik yang ramah lingkungan dan bernilai ekonomis, serta mendorong pengelolaan limbah kelapa sawit secara berkelanjutan melalui penyuluhan, pelatihan dan praktik, serta evaluasi pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dilakukan melalui kuesioner yang diisi sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani di Kelurahan Bangkal mengenai pembuatan pupuk organik dari limbah seperti tandan kosong kelapa sawit meningkat setelah pelatihan. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini diharapkan kedepannya para petani di Kelurahan Bangkal dapat secara mandiri mengolah limbah organik seperti limbah pertanian atau perkebunan menjadi pupuk organik.
The Innovation of Processing Palm Oil Empty Fruit Bunches into Compost to Support Environmentally Friendly Agriculture in Bangkal Village, Cempaka District
Abstract
Indonesia is one of the largest palm oil producing countries in the world. However, this success also creates challenges in the form of biomass waste, one of which is empty oil palm bunches. Bangkal Village is one of the areas that has potential access to empty oil palm bunch waste from surrounding oil palm plantations. However, the use of this waste at the community level is still very minimal and not optimal so that the potential to improve community welfare through the management of this waste has not been utilized optimally. However, organic fertilizer based on empty oil palm bunches can improve soil structure and increase fresh fruit bunch production by up to 34% compared to standard fertilization. This community service aims to provide understanding and training to the community regarding the use of empty oil palm bunches as raw materials for organic fertilizers that are environmentally friendly and have economic value, as well as to encourage sustainable management of oil palm waste through counseling, training and practice, and evaluation of participant knowledge and skills is carried out through questionnaires filled out before and after the activity. The results of community service activities show that the knowledge and skills of farmers in Bangkal Village regarding the manufacture of organic fertilizers from waste such as empty oil palm bunches increased after training. With this training, it is hoped that in the future farmers in Bangkal Village will be able to independently process organic waste such as agricultural or plantation waste into organic fertilizer
Penyusunan Rencana Induk dan Peta Jalan Pemajuan IPTEK Kabupaten Lamongan untuk Penguatan Ekosistem Riset dan Inovasi
Peningkatan ekosistem riset, inovasi, dan teknologi di Indonesia memerlukan perencanaan strategis yang sistematis. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun Rencana Induk dan Peta Jalan Pemajuan Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi (RIP JPID) Kabupaten Lamongan, sebagai dokumen kebijakan berbasis data yang menjadi panduan pengembangan IPTEK secara berkelanjutan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi analisis kebijakan, analisis tren nasional dan daerah, studi pustaka, serta studi lapangan untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan dan peluang IPTEK. Pendekatan partisipatif diterapkan melalui lokakarya dan forum diskusi guna memastikan keterlibatan pemangku kepentingan dalam merumuskan strategi yang relevan dan aplikatif. Hasil utama dari program ini adalah dokumen RIP JPID 2025–2029, yang mencakup visi, misi, sasaran strategis, serta tahapan implementasi untuk mempercepat penguatan IPTEK di Kabupaten Lamongan. Dokumen ini berfungsi sebagai acuan dalam perumusan kebijakan daerah, pengembangan program riset dan inovasi, serta peningkatan daya saing teknologi. Dengan adanya peta jalan ini, diharapkan kemajuan IPTEK dapat lebih terarah, efektif, dan selaras dengan kebijakan nasional.
Preparation of the Master Plan and Roadmap for the Advancement of Science and Technology in Kabupaten Lamongan to Strengthen the Research and Innovation Ecosystem
Abstract
The enhancement of the research, innovation, and technology ecosystem in Indonesia requires systematic strategic planning. This community service program aims to develop the Master Plan and Roadmap for the Advancement of Science and Technology (RIP JPID) of Lamongan Regency as a data-driven policy document that serves as a guide for sustainable science and technology (IPTEK) development. The methods used include policy analysis, national and regional trend analysis, literature review, and field studies to identify science and technology needs and opportunities. A participatory approach is applied through workshops and discussion forums to ensure stakeholder involvement in formulating relevant and applicable strategies. The primary outcome of this program is the RIP JPID 2025–2029 document, which outlines the vision, mission, strategic objectives, and implementation stages to accelerate the strengthening of science and technology in Lamongan Regency. This document serves as a reference for regional policy formulation, research and innovation program development, and technological competitiveness enhancement. With this roadmap, it is expected that science and technology advancement will become more focused, effective, and aligned with national policies
Re-Desain Pojok Baca berbasis CINTA (Cerdas, Inspiratif, Nyaman, Terpadu, Aktif), untuk Meningkatkan Minat Membaca Anak di Sanggar Bimbingan Muhammadiyah, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi anak-anak di Sanggar Bimbingan Muhammadiyah di Kampung Bharu Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia melalui re-desain pojok baca berbasis CINTA (Cerdas, Inspiratif, Nyaman, Terpadu, Aktif) serta menumbuhkan minat baca anak. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan pendekatan Participatory Learning and Action (PLA), yaitu metode pemberdayaan yang mengintegrasikan pembelajaran bersama dan aksi kolektif dalam komunitas. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui tahap : 1) Identify and prioritise problems ; 2) Plan strategies ; 3) Put strategies into practice ; 4) Evaluate Together. Partisipan yang terlibat dalam kegiatan ini adalah Anak didik di Sanggar Bimbingan Muhammadiyah di Kampung Baru, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. sejumlah 52 anak, usia 8-13 tahun dan 3 orang tutor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar anak (56%) lebih memilih membaca di rumah dibandingkan di sanggar (44%). Dari segi jenis bacaan, komik menjadi pilihan utama (66%), sementara hanya 15% anak yang membaca buku pelajaran dan 19% tidak menunjukkan minat terhadap jenis bacaan tertentu. Dalam hal sumber bacaan, mayoritas anak (72%) tidak secara aktif mencari bahan bacaan di luar sanggar dan hanya 28% yang memperoleh buku dari orangtua. Adapun dalam penggunaan waktu, 56% anak mengaku sering lupa waktu ketika membaca, 14% lebih banyak menghabiskan waktu untuk bermain game online, dan hanya 10% yang memanfaatkan waktu untuk membaca di sanggar.
Redesigning the Reading Corner Based on CINTA (Cerdas, Inspiratif, Nyaman, Terpadu, Aktif), to Enhance Children's Reading Interest at Sanggar Bimbingan Muhammadiyah, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Abstract
This activity seeks to enhance literacy at the Muhammadiyah Guidance Center in Kampung Bharu Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, by redesigning their reading corner according to the CINTA (Cerdas, Inspiratif, Nyaman, Terpadu, Aktif) concept, as well as fostering interest in reading. The Adopted method of teaching in this activity is Participatory Learning and Action (PLA), which is an empowerment strategy that combines teaching and learning with action in the community. The implementation of this activity includes the following steps: 1) Identify and rank the concerns; 2) Devise way of strategies; 3) Apply strategies; 4) Assess collectively. The participants in this activity were the students of the Sanggar Bimbingan Muhammadiyah, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which comprised a sample of 52 children with 3 tutors aged 8–13 years. The research results show that a larger number of children, which is 56%, prefer to read at home, while 44% prefer reading at the center. Regarding the type of reading materials, the most preferred are comics which account for 66%, while only 15% read textbooks, and 19% of children show no interest in any material. Looking at the means, the major part in 72% of the children did not actively look for means of reading outside the center and only 28% of the children received books from their parents. When it comes to aspects of time management, 56% of children confessed they frequently forget the time when they are reading, 14% devote more time to playing online games, but only 10% use their time to read in the study
Pemberdayaan Paguyuban Petani Hortikultura melalui Ketahanan Pangan Berbasis Technopreneurship untuk Meningkatkan Perekonomian Desa Karangsari Kabupaten Cilacap
Karangsari Village, located in Adipala Subdistrict, Cilacap Regency, is categorized as an area of extreme poverty where the majority of the population works as horticultural farmers. One of the main commodities is pokcoy, a vegetable with a fast harvest cycle. However, overproduction often causes prices to drop drastically, resulting in low farmer income due to dependence on raw product sales. This community empowerment program aims to increase the added value of horticultural products through a technopreneurship approach based on food security. The program was implemented through several stages: socialization, product innovation training, application of appropriate technology, digital marketing training, and business management assistance. The target partner was the Paguyuban Petani Hortikultura Karangsari (Karangsari Horticultural Farmers Association), which previously lacked product diversification, business legality, and effective digital marketing strategies. The program’s results showed a significant improvement in farmers’ knowledge and skills in processing pokcoy into innovative products such as pokcoy powder and pokcoy sticks, applying proper packaging and labeling standards, and utilizing digital media for promotion. The application of technologies such as food dehydrators, grinders, sealers, and the Canva app supported increased productivity and sustainable business development. Strategi Holistik Penanganan Anemia Remaja Putri untuk Mencegah Stunting Antar Generasi di SMPN 2 Singosari, Malang
Anemia pada remaja putri masih menjadi masalah kesehatan yang berdampak terhadap kualitas generasi mendatang dan berpotensi meningkatkan risiko stunting pada anak di masa depan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku remaja putri dalam pencegahan anemia melalui pendekatan holistik yang mencakup aspek biomedik, sosial, dan intervensi gizi di SMPN 2 Singosari, Malang. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui skrining kadar hemoglobin, penyuluhan kesehatan reproduksi, edukasi pentingnya konsumsi tablet tambah darah, serta pelatihan penyusunan menu bergizi seimbang berbasis bahan pangan lokal. Pendekatan sosial melibatkan guru, orang tua, serta kader kesehatan sebagai agen perubahan dalam mendukung keberlanjutan program. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta sebesar 82%, peningkatan kepatuhan konsumsi tablet tambah darah dari 40% menjadi 75%, serta peningkatan kadar hemoglobin rata-rata dari 11,2 g/dL menjadi 12,4 g/dL. Selain itu, partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam kegiatan gizi meningkat signifikan. Selain menghasilkan perubahan jangka pendek, program ini berpotensi mendorong perilaku sehat yang berkelanjutan melalui keterlibatan komunitas dan pemantauan rutin oleh sekolah serta kader kesehatan. Keberlanjutan program ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada penurunan risiko stunting di masa mendatang dan menjadi model intervensi terpadu bagi sekolah lain.
A Holistic Strategy for Managing Anemia Among Adolescent Girls to Prevent Intergenerational Stunting in Junior High School 2 Singosari, Malang
Abstract
Anemia in adolescent girls is still a health problem that has an impact on the quality of future generations and has the potential to increase the risk of stunting in children in the future. This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of adolescent girls in the prevention of anemia through a holistic approach that includes biomedical, social, and nutritional intervention aspects at SMPN 2 Singosari, Malang. Activities were carried out through hemoglobin level screening, reproductive health counseling, education on the importance of consuming blood-boosting tablets, and training on preparing balanced nutritious menus based on local food. The social approach involves teachers, parents, and health cadres as agents of change in supporting the sustainability of the program. The results showed an increase in participants' knowledge by 82%, an increase in adherence to blood supplement consumption from 40% to 75%, and an increase in average hemoglobin levels from 11.2 g/dL to 12.4 g/dL. In addition, the active participation of the community in nutrition activities has increased significantly. In addition to generating short-term change, the program has the potential to encourage sustainable healthy behaviors through community engagement and regular monitoring by schools and health cadres. The sustainability of this program is expected to contribute to reducing the risk of stunting in the future and become a model of integrated intervention for other schools
Pengolahan Rempah dan Minuman Tradisional bagi PKK dan Kader Posyandu Desa Bengkaung Tahun 2025
Pemanfaatan rempah dan tanaman obat keluarga (TOGA) untuk minuman tradisional berpotensi memperkuat ketahanan kesehatan keluarga dan membuka peluang usaha rumah tangga. Namun, pengolahan di tingkat rumah tangga/UMKM masih menghadapi kendala dalam hal higienitas, keamanan pangan, dan kewirausahaan. Desa Bengkaung di Kecamatan Batulayar, Kabupaten Lombok Barat, yang kaya rempah dan TOGA, memiliki PKK dan kader Posyandu yang berperan penting dalam kesehatan masyarakat, namun belum memiliki keterampilan dalam mengolah minuman tradisional yang sehat dan aman. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas PKK dan kader Posyandu untuk memproduksi minuman tradisional berbasis rempah lokal yang higienis serta menumbuhkan orientasi usaha mikro. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pelatihan partisipatif dengan paradigma Participatory Action Research (PAR), mencakup analisis kebutuhan, penyusunan modul higiene-sanitasi dan prinsip HACCP sederhana, serta pelatihan kewirausahaan dasar. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-post test, observasi praktik, dan penilaian organoleptik produk. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta terkait manfaat rempah dan keamanan pangan, serta keterampilan teknis pengolahan dan pengemasan, yang mendorong inisiatif untuk mengembangkan minuman tradisional sebagai usaha mikro berbasis komunitas.
Processing of Traditional Spices and Beverages for the PKK and Posyandu Cadres of Bengkaung Village in 2025
Abstract
The utilization of spices and family medicinal plants (TOGA) for traditional beverages has the potential to strengthen family health resilience and open opportunities for household businesses. However, processing at the household/SME level still faces challenges in hygiene, food safety, and entrepreneurship. Bengkaung Village in Batulayar District, West Lombok Regency, rich in spices and TOGA, has PKK and Posyandu cadres who play an important role in public health, but they lack skills in processing healthy and safe traditional beverages. This community service activity aims to enhance the capacity of PKK and Posyandu cadres to produce hygienic traditional beverages based on local spices and foster a microenterprise orientation. The approach used is participatory training with a Participatory Action Research (PAR) paradigm, including needs analysis, the development of hygiene-sanitation modules, and simple HACCP principles, as well as basic entrepreneurship training. Evaluation was carried out through pre-post tests, practice observations, and organoleptic product assessments. The results show an increase in participants' knowledge regarding the benefits of spices and food safety, as well as technical skills in processing and packaging, which encourage the initiative to develop traditional beverages as a community-based microenterprise
Peningkatan Daya Saing UMKM melalui Pelatihan Desain Kemasan dan Pendampingan Legalitas di Desa WidasariKabupaten Indramayu
Kemasan memiliki peran penting dalam memengaruhi keputusan pembelian konsumen, di mana lebih dari 70% konsumen cenderung memilih produk dengan kemasan yang menarik dan informatif. Selain berfungsi sebagai pelindung, kemasan juga memperkuat identitas produk dan meningkatkan daya saing UMKM. Di Desa Widasari, banyak pelaku UMKM belum memahami prinsip desain kemasan yang efektif serta prosedur pengurusan legalitas usaha seperti Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB) dan sertifikasi halal. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas UMKM melalui pelatihan desain kemasan dan pendampingan legalitas. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan teoritis, diskusi interaktif, serta pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman peserta. Materi yang diberikan mencakup prinsip visual branding, pemilihan warna dan material, serta tahapan administratif pembuatan legalitas usaha. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman peserta, terlihat dari perbandingan nilai pre-test dan post-test, serta meningkatnya kemampuan pelaku UMKM dalam merancang perbaikan kemasan dan mengurus legalitas usaha. Sebagai tindak lanjut, peserta didorong untuk mengimplementasikan hasil pelatihan secara mandiri dengan dukungan pendampingan lanjutan melalui fasilitas CIC Hub, termasuk konsultasi desain kemasan dan asistensi pengurusan legalitas, guna memastikan keberlanjutan penerapan hasil pelatihan. Program ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan daya saing UMKM lokal dan mendukung pencapaian SDGs, khususnya pada aspek pertumbuhan ekonomi.
Improving the Competitiveness of MSMEs through Packaging Design Training and Legal Assistance in Widasari Village Indramayu Regency
Abstract
Packaging plays an important role in influencing consumer purchasing decisions, with more than 70% of consumers tending to choose products with attractive and informative packaging. In addition to serving as protection, packaging also strengthens product identity and increases the competitiveness of MSMEs. In Widasari Village, many MSME players do not yet understand the principles of effective packaging design and business legality procedures such as Business Identification Numbers (NIB) and halal certification. This community service activity aims to improve the capacity of MSMEs through packaging design training and legality assistance. The methods used include theoretical lectures, interactive discussions, as well as pre-tests and post-tests to measure the increase in participants' understanding. The material provided covers the principles of visual branding, color and material selection, and the administrative stages of business legality. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' understanding, as seen from the comparison of pre-test and post-test scores, as well as an increase in the ability of MSME players to design packaging improvements and take care of business legality. As a follow-up, participants are encouraged to independently implement the training results with continued support through the CIC Hub facility, including packaging design consultations and legal assistance, to ensure the sustainability of the training results. This program contributes to improving the competitiveness of local MSMEs and supports the achievement of SDGs, particularly in terms of economic growth
