Get PDFThe text is part of the discussions carried out by the project team "Gastronomy and Cultural Heritage Londrinense", which aims to recognize and explore references to the gastronomic memory of immigrants and their descendants in the colonization process of the city of Londrina. It stands as an attempt to approach the concept of Intangible Heritage, especially in the identification of dishes and culinary practices that could be considered in the category of “cultural asset”. The criteria used were the formation of the city of Londrina-PR, in the years 1930 to 1950, and its constitution by different ethnic groups, which made it known as the "International Colony".O texto está inserido nas discussões realizadas pela equipe do projeto "Gastronomia e Patrimônio Cultural Londrinense", que visa reconhecer e explorar referências de memória gastronômica de imigrantes e seus descendentes no processo colonizador da cidade de Londrina. Firma-se como uma tentativa de aproximação com o conceito de Patrimônio Imaterial, em especial na identificação de pratos e práticas culinárias que poderiam ser considerados na categoria de “bem cultural”. Origem e evolução do ensino de arquitetura no Brasil
Get PDFWith its roots strongly linked to European Architecture, the teaching of Architecture in Brazil went through several phases, being influenced, over time, by both conservative thoughts and more modernist trends. Therefore, this article aims to analyze the historical evolution of Architecture teaching in the Brazilian context and present a general overview of this trajectory. Through bibliographical research, we sought to establish a chronological line in order to show the origins of this teaching in colonial Brazil, as well as the main characters and the evolution of discussions on this subject up to the present day. At a time of great didactic-pedagogical changes, the article also seeks to review the past of Architecture teaching in Brazil, in order to support current reflections on possible paths to be adopted in the future.Com suas raízes fortemente vinculadas a Arquitetura da Europa, o ensino de Arquitetura no Brasil passou por diversas fases, sendo influenciado, ao longo do tempo, tanto por pensamentos conservadores quanto por ventos mais modernistas. Sendo assim, o presente artigo tem como objetivo analisar a evolução histórica do ensino de Arquitetura no contexto brasileiro e apresentar um panorama geral dessa trajetória. Por meio de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, buscou-se estabelecer uma linha cronológica de modo a mostrar as origens desse ensino ainda no Brasil colônia, bem como os principais personagens e a evolução das discussões sobre esse assunto ao até os dias atuais. Numa época de grandes mudanças didático-pedagógicas, busca-se também com o artigo fazer uma revisão sobre o passado do ensino de Arquitetura no Brasil, de modo a embasar reflexões atuais sobre os possíveis caminhos a serem adotados no futuro.

Possessing an odd number of electrons, the radicals try to bind itlsevesto other molecules in order to gain stability, causing oxidative stress. The damage caused by these reactions can be prevented through the antioxidants produced by the body and obtained through food and topical use. The antioxidants stabilize free radicals, preventing the cellular structures oxidation. The intake of fruits, vegetables, cereals, fibers and carbohydrates has a lot of antioxidants and has an antiinflammatory effect in the body. This paper gathered scientific information with the purpose of demonstrating how the vegetarian diet proves beneficial in the prevention of aging, by prioritizing the ingestion of plant foods, an antioxidant supply. However, the range of studies on the influence of the vegetarian diet on aesthetics is still very low, thus, there is a need for more in-depth studies on the benefits of this diet in the cutaneous aging prevention.A ação dos radicais livres está entre uma das principais causas do envelhecimento. Possuindo um número ímpar de elétrons, os radicais livres tentam se ligar a outras moléculas com a finalidade de ganharem estabilidade, ocasionando uma reação em cadeia de produção de radicais livres que leva ao estresse oxidativo. Os danos causados por essas reações podem ser prevenidos através dos antioxidantes produzidos pelo organismo e também obtidos através da alimentação e do uso tópico. Os antioxidantes estabilizam os radicais livres, impedindo a oxidação das estruturas celulares. A ingestão de frutas, vegetais, cereais, fibras e carboidratos dispõe de grande quantidade de antioxidantes e têm efeito anti-inflamatório no organismo. Este artigo reuniu informações científicas com a finalidade de comprovar como a dieta vegetariana se mostra benéfica na prevenção do envelhecimento, por priorizar a ingestão de alimentos de origem vegetal, fontes de antioxidantes. Entretanto, o número de estudos sobre a influência da dieta vegetariana na estética ainda é bastante reduzido, portanto observa-se a necessidade de estudos mais aprofundados sobre os benefícios da dieta na prevenção do envelhecimento cutâneo

Historicamente, o cabelo está relacionado à feminilidade e beleza das mulheres e a vitalidade e juventude dos homens. Cláusulas abusivas em contratos imobiliários de adesão: uma análise da responsabilidade civil e aplicabilidade de danos morais
Get PDFThis scientific article proposes an in-depth analysis of abusive clauses in real estate adhesion contracts, focusing on the civil liability of the parties involved and the applicability of moral damages. Given the legal and social complexity that permeates adhesion contracts, especially in the real estate context, it is essential to examine contractual clauses that could be considered abusive and understand the legal and moral implications associated with these clauses. The research is based on a bibliographical review, jurisprudential analysis and case studies to investigate the contractual clauses that are commonly considered abusive in real estate adhesion contracts. This article explores current legislation and relevant case law to identify patterns and trends in the legal treatment of unfair clauses, highlighting the legal consequences for contracting parties. Furthermore, the study examines the civil liability of the parties, especially property suppliers, in the face of the inclusion of abusive clauses in adhesion contracts. The duty of information and transparency that falls on these suppliers is assessed, as well as the legal measures that consumers can adopt to protect their rights in the case of unfair clauses. Another crucial point addressed in this article is the applicability of moral damages in cases where abusive contractual clauses are present. Recent case law is examined to understand how courts have interpreted and applied moral damages in these contexts, considering the emotional and psychological impact that unfair clauses can cause to consumers. At the end, the article offers conclusions based on the analysis of the information collected, proposing suggestions to improve legislation and contractual practices in the real estate sector, aiming to effectively protect consumer rights and promote fairer and more equitable contractual relationships.O presente artigo científico propõe uma análise aprofundada das cláusulas abusivas em contratos de adesão imobiliários, com foco na responsabilidade civil das partes envolvidas e na aplicabilidade dos danos morais. Diante da complexidade jurídica e social que permeia os contratos de adesão, especialmente no contexto imobiliário, torna-se fundamental examinar as cláusulas contratuais que possam ser consideradas abusivas e entender as implicações legais e morais associadas a essas cláusulas. A pesquisa se baseia em revisão bibliográfica, análise jurisprudencial e estudo de casos para investigar as cláusulas contratuais que comumente são consideradas abusivas nos contratos de adesão imobiliários. O presente artigo explora a legislação vigente e a jurisprudência relevante para identificar padrões e tendências no tratamento legal das cláusulas abusivas, destacando as consequências legais para as partes contratantes. Além disso, o estudo examina a responsabilidade civil das partes, especialmente dos fornecedores de imóveis, diante da inclusão de cláusulas abusivas em contratos de adesão. Avalia-se o dever de informação e transparência que recai sobre esses fornecedores, bem como as medidas legais que os consumidores podem adotar para proteger seus direitos em caso de cláusulas abusivas. Outro ponto crucial abordado no presente artigo é a aplicabilidade de danos morais nos casos que se fazem presentes cláusulas contratuais abusivas. Examina-se recentes jurisprudências para entender como os tribunais têm interpretado e aplicado os danos morais nesses contextos, considerando o impacto emocional e psicológico que as cláusulas abusivas podem causar aos consumidores. Ao final, o artigo oferece conclusões baseadas na análise das informações coletadas, propondo sugestões para aprimorar a legislação e as práticas contratuais no setor imobiliário, visando a proteção efetiva dos direitos dos consumidores e a promoção de relações contratuais mais justas e equitativas

Desenvolvimento de interfaces voltadas a pessoas com deficiências visuais
Get PDFThe theme of this article is to address the methodologies used to develop interfaces for people with visual impairments, discussing the importance of designing interfaces suited to the needs of these people, as well as adapting to the assistive technologies present in everyday life, which help these people overcome technological barriers on a daily basis. In order to develop this project, a search was carried out for scientific articles and books, using a string search for design, interfaces, assistive technologies, visual impairment, user-centered design and affordance, carrying out a literature review, excluding those that were not directly related to the objective of the study and finally carrying out a careful reading. Emphasizing the creation of interfaces adapted to the needs of the user and the assistive technologies used by them, with the aim of addressing the importance of user-centered design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) principles and the application of W3C guidelines in the creation of accessible interfaces for people with visual impairments.Esse artigo tem como tema abordar as metodologias utilizadas para o desenvolvimento de interfaces para pessoas com deficiências visuais, discutindo a importância de projetar interfaces adequadas às necessidades dessas pessoas, bem como adaptar-se às tecnologias assistivas presentes no cotidiano, que ajudam diariamente essas pessoas a superar as barreiras tecnológicas. Para o desenvolvimento desse projeto foi realizada uma busca por artigos científicos e livros, através de uma string de busca por, design, interfaces, tecnologias assistivas, deficiência visual, design centrado no usuário e affordance, realizando uma revisão da literatura, excluindo aqueles que não estavam relacionados diretamente com o objetivo do estudo e por fim efetuando uma leitura criteriosa. Plano especial de recuperação judicial: solução para microempreendedores individuais endividados?
Get PDFThe purpose of this article is to examine the specific judicial reorganization of the individual micro-entrepreneur (MEI). In light of the courts' recognition of the economic vulnerability of the MEI and the fact that they are individuals, the insolvency of the MEI entails a risk to their personal assets, given the absence of limitations of liability and the lack of separation of assets. This leads to the question of whether the special judicial reorganisation plan serves the interests of MEIs. The objective of this study is to examine the advantages and disadvantages of opting for the simplified procedure. The research is justified by the theoretical and practical interest in one of the most important sectors for the Brazilian economy. This is a theoretical, exploratory and critical study, developed using the scientific-deductive method and various methodological procedures, such as bibliographical and case law research. In summary, the results indicate that the special procedure granted to the MEI favours it. However, the mechanism is still not very viable for the segment, and requires legislative change to favour it.O tema do artigo é a recuperação judicial especial do microempreendedor individual (MEI). Reconhecida a sua vulnerabilidade econômica pelos tribunais e por ser pessoa física, a insolvência do MEI coloca em risco os seus bens pessoais, uma vez que inexiste limitação de responsabilidade e separação patrimonial. Assim, questiona-se: o plano especial de recuperação judicial atende aos interesses dos MEIs? O estudo objetiva analisar as vantagens e desvantagens da opção pelo procedimento simplificado. Justifica-se a investigação pelo interesse teórico e prático em um dos setores mais importantes para a economia brasileira. Trata-se de pesquisa de cunho teórico, exploratório e crítico, desenvolvida à luz do método científico-dedutivo e que conta com variados procedimentos metodológicos, como pesquisa bibliográfica e jurisprudencial. Em resumo, os resultados são: o procedimento especial franqueado ao MEI lhe favorece. Nada obstante, o mecanismo ainda é pouco viável ao segmento, necessitando de alteração legislativa para favorecê-lo
Direito e educação democrática: aspectos legais, históricos e filosóficos
Get PDFConsidering the complexity of Brazilian society, as well as the inequalities and contradictions that permeate us, there is an urgent need to provoke discussions about public policies that are universal in nature, through which it is possible to reflect on these inequalities, as is the case with education. In this context, the aim of this study is to reflect on the possible relationships between Democracy and Education, pointing out paths and possibilities for intertwining these poles, seeking to answer how to overcome the challenges of promoting an education that contributes to equity and social justice. As a possible way forward, we point to the need for education that promotes democracy as a way of life. For this discussion, a bibliographical analysis of the works of Freire (2005; 2019) and the Federal Constitution (Brazil, 1988) will be carried out. The discussions will cover historical, legal and philosophical aspects.Considerando a complexidade da sociedade brasileira, bem como as desigualdades e contradições que nos permeiam, é urgente a provocação de discussões acerca de Políticas Públicas que sejam de caráter universal, através das quais é possível a reflexão acerca dessas desigualdades, como é o caso da Educação. Nesse contexto, o presente estudo tem por objetivo refletir sobre as relações possíveis de se estabelecer entre Democracia e Educação apontando caminhos e possibilidades para o entrelaçamento desses polos, buscando responder como superar os desafios de promover uma educação que contribua para a equidade e a justiça social. Como caminho possível apontamos a necessidade de uma Educação que promova a democracia com modo de vida. Para tal discussão será realizada análise bibliográfica das obras de Freire (2005; 2019) e da Constituição Federal (Brasil, 1988), a análise é de caráter qualitativa. O sagrado e a violência na fronteira da Lei
Get PDFIn the absence or ineffectiveness of the State in the large outskirts of Brazil, a parallel power led by factions or militias has been taking on the functions of public power, creating its own “laws” to govern such urban spaces. In these territories, religious communities are located, which need to adapt to the rules established there and also maintain friendly relations with the leaders of these armed groups, who even appropriate symbols, vocabulary and rites, biblical or evangelical, as power strategies. Hence the use of terminologies to identify them: “Evangelical drug dealers” or “God’s new bandits”. The article also analyzes the relationship between belief and violence in other moments in the history of Brazil, which occurred on the border of the Law. The approach to this theme is relevant, especially due to contemporary discussions about tolerance, respect for diversity and the growing propensity to treat violence as something habitual, even capable of being combined with sacred practices.Na ausência ou inoperância do Estado nas grandes periferias do Brasil, um poder paralelo capitaneado por facções ou milícias, vem assumindo funções do poder público, criando “leis” próprias para governar tais espaços urbanos. Nestes territórios, estão situadas comunidades religiosas, que precisam se adequar às regras ali estabelecidas e também manter relações amistosas com chefes destes grupos armados, os quais, inclusive, fazem apropriação de símbolos, vocabulário e ritos, bíblicos ou evangélicos, como estratégias de poder. Daí o uso de terminologias para identificá-los: “Traficantes evangélicos” ou “Os novos bandidos de Deus”. O artigo também analisa a relação entre crença e violência em outros momentos da história do Brasil, ocorridos na fronteira da Lei. É relevante a abordagem dessa temática, sobretudo pelas discussões contemporâneas sobre tolerância, respeito à diversidade e a crescente propensão de se tratar a violência como algo habitual, passível, inclusive, de ser conjugada com práticas sagradas
