Impact of new technologies and artificial intelligence in brand management

The topic of this article was chosen due to its relevance and the opportunity to explore various aspects of new technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) in marketing and customer service. Brand management plays a crucial role in modern business, as building, maintaining and developing a brand is essential for attracting and retaining customers. However, the integration of AI also raises important concerns about privacy, transparency and social responsibility, which are crucial for maintaining consumer trust. The article aims not only to show the innovative potential of AI, but also to highlight its role in building sustainable and successful brands. Existing practices are analyzed, as well as new opportunities that can be implemented as the technology continues to develop, the challenges and limitations of artificial intelligence, the risks and limitations associated with AI are examined, emphasizing the balance between automation and maintaining an emotional connection with customers

Political metaphors in the speech of parliamentary leaders

    No full text
The study traces conceptual metaphors in political speeches in Bulgarian. The corpus for the study comprises the parliamentary speeches given by the leaders of the major political parties represented in the 50th parliament of the Bulgarian National Assembly. The leaders announce their plans for the new season, which should represent the political principles embraced by the respective parties. Metaphor is defined following George Lakoff’s definition as a cognitive mechanism of making sense of the world. Specific reference is made to his classification of political metaphors of the state as a family. Where metaphors fall outside the scope of the American taxonomy - as can be expected of the Bulgarian context, new categories are introduced based on the empirical material. Conclusions are sought about each speaker’s conceptual system and the nature of the political ideas presented by them

Infanticide as Self-de-facement: Elizabeth Barrett Browning's "The Runaway Slave at Pilgrim's Point"

    No full text
Based on Elizabeth Barrett Browning’s The Runaway Slave at Pilgrim’s Point (1847), and trusting, at the same time, existential phenomenology and deconstruction, this paper aims at investigating a guilty individual’s impulse for self-authorization (and self-narration). It discusses infant mortality, motherhood, and suffering, in which Elizabeth Barrett Browning’s oeuvre abounds. Despite the unceasing critical interest in the poet’s abolitionist leanings, the ontological uniqueness of The Runaway Slave is yet to be explored, having been dominated so far by militantly politicized researches on women’s rights, the religious incongruities of Victorian culture, and the wavering solidarity that nineteenth-century England demonstrated for nations struggling under foreign despotism and illiterate self-government. Infanticide could be perceived as an act of self-de-facement, rather than of self-declaration. Considering muteness against the voicedness of the Face, this paper reveals the travail of a Self’s inevitable sacrificial exposure to an Other, and by extension, the foundational role of alterity in authorial intentionality

Hyperreal Replicas in Julian Barnes' “England, England”

    No full text
This article aims to examine Julian Barnes’ England, England through Jean Baudrillard’s influential concepts of hyperreality and simulation, illuminating profound resonances with the postmodern condition of contemporary Western societies. The novel portrays a world increasingly governed by models, signs and simulacra, challenging traditional notions of authenticity and reality. The theme park’s replication of English culture, history and identity exemplifies how simulations and hyperreal constructions have saturated domains like tourism, nationhood, historical narratives and media representations. The novel encapsulates Baudrillardian themes such as the blurring of reality/illusion, the eclipse of the original by replicas, and the commodification of culture into marketable experiences. This mirrors contemporary experiences where the virtual and artificial hold sway over the authentic, fuelled by forces like consumer capitalism and the media. The actors’ embodiment of historical roles reflects how mediated depictions shape public memory more than facts. Ultimately, the novel's vision of a hyperreal England supplanting traditional conceptions of nationhood resonates with contemporary anxieties about meaning and truth in a world dominated by simulations. By vividly fictionalizing Baudrillard’s philosophical perspectives, the novel offers insightful views on modern complications distinguishing reality amid our self-constructed simulations

Applications of 3D printing and digital transformation in aerospace engineering and telecommunication technologies

The aim of the development is to present the overall process of building functional prototypes for the purposes of aerospace engineering and telecommunication technologies, based on specific examples from the author's scientific and practical work. The scientific-applied contribution of the research is expressed in the correct selection and comparative analysis of compatible software products and devices for 3D modeling, digital transformation and 3D printing of objects from the space infrastructure and. in particular, of radio technical devices as key components of telecommunication satellites. The presented practical results are in the form of a final product that, if the criteria for precise modeling and the selection of a suitable material for 3D printing are met, can satisfy the quality criteria of the relevant industry for which it is intended

Interaction between the 4G - EPC core and the 5G RAN

The Radio Access Network - 5G RAN is designed to work seamlessly with the existing 4G EPC network infrastructure. This enables a smooth transition from fourth 4G to fifth generation 5G mobile systems, both for operators and end users. The radio access network - 5G RAN uses a new core network architecture - 5GC, which is designed to be more flexible and scalable than the previous EPC architecture. The purpose of writing the article is to analyze the methods of interaction between the EPC core of 4G networks and the 5G system core. To explore interfaces and interconnection protocols with an emphasis on roaming and non-roaming architectural models. To discuss the interaction between the 5GC core network and the E-UTRAN radio network associated with the EPC in terms of achieving this goal through non-3GPP access. Analysis of the methods of interaction between the EPC core of 4G networks and the 5GС, the study of interfaces and interaction protocols in different operating environments can be noted as contributions to the development of the article

Analysis of radio frequency spectrum planning and allocation for the deployment of new modern broadband networks and technologies

When analyzing the planning and distribution of the radio frequency spectrum on a global and European scale, the need to manage the radio frequency spectrum is taken into account, which is in accordance with the provisions of the Radio Regulations of the International Telecommunication Union, the decisions and recommendations of the European Commission and the Electronic Communications Committee of the European Conference by post and telecommunications. The analysis in the management of the radio frequency spectrum is also in accordance with the Bulgarian legislation, in which the principles of legality, predictability, transparency, publicity, consultativeness, equality, proportionality, neutrality in relation to the technologies used and/or the services provided and reducing the regulatory intervention to the minimum required. The basic principles of spectrum management and allocation involve a combination of technical, regulatory and organizational considerations. The purpose of writing the article is to analyze spectrum efficiency and the adaptation of spectrum management policies to evolving technologies and market dynamics
