VOD streaming services and preferences of Bulgarian audience (HBO Max case)
In 2022, as part of a team participating in an international project aiming to analyse the role of media platforms in fostering or dismantling European identity, I was tasked with researching HBO’s streaming services in Bulgaria. Within the EUMEPLAT project our team had the task of researching the most popular video-on-demand platforms in Bulgaria. Part of the findings in that research has constituted the basis of this current paper. The document examines the fact that the last decade has seen video-on-demand and streaming services come from behind and establish themselves firmly in the home entertainment mix. The companies providing these services and their streaming platforms are today household brands (think of the likes of Netflix and AppleTV+), which actively form media consumption trends and tastes. One of the major players in Bulgaria is HBO with their HBO Max platform. The paper analyses preferences of HBO Max’s Bulgarian audience in terms of subscriptions, titles, popularity, genres, origin and age of content. Parallels are drawn, where possible with global audiences

Digital Transformation of CRM and Transition to e–CRM
The last two decades of the previous century and the first two decades of the current century enabled CRM to become ubiquitous in both global companies and small businesses. This process continues and changes. With this paper work we aim to identify and illuminate this transformation, which we identify as the transition from CRM to e-CRM. Therefore, at the beginning, we characterize the key concepts for the development, then discuss the similarities and differences between digitalization, digitization and digital transformation. We continue with an analysis of digital transformation and its main principles and processes. Here we emphasize, in parallel with many other transformations in the corporation/ organization, and on the need for it to become an “agile organization” and to adapt its specific digital culture. In this regard, we compare the features and identify the similarities and differences between CRM to e-CRM. To illuminate all this, we use case studies of companies - leaders in digital transformation and e-CRM. Finally, we end with a conclusion in which we focus on the need to run the digital transformation process in parallel with the digital adaptation process of the company/ organization
The cinefication of museums: from exhibitions to films. The case of Tate Modern
Since the end of the 20th century, museum institutions have been adopting the logic of communication, promotion, and administration typical of cultural industries, mainly Cinema. In 1994, Andreas Huyssen argued that the museum, as an elitist place of preservation of canon and high culture, gave way to the museum as a mass medium. Cinema became the paradigm of contemporary cultural activities whose new exhibition practices respond to the changing expectations of the public and their constant search for stellar events.Since the end of the 20th century, museum institutions have been adopting the logic of communication, promotion, and administration typical of cultural industries, mainly Cinema. Cinema became the paradigm of contemporary cultural activities whose new exhibition practices respond to the changing expectations of the public and their constant search for stellar events. This process is evident in the increasing use of banners, marquees, and all manner of resources aimed at promoting the temporary exhibitions gaining their place as the main attractions of art museums. Moreover, with the advent of social media, the phenomenon of cinefication of the museum has accelerated. Exhibitions are now titled, conceived, promoted, and distributed as films, while artists, adorned by the figure of the genius, are presented as parts of the art history star system. In order to highlight this phenomenon, we present an analysis of the programming and promotion of temporary exhibitions at Tate Modern, the paradigm of 21st-century museums. This institution not only titles its exhibitions in a cinematographic manner but also produces trailers and posts them on its website and social media. Our work focuses on one exhibition in particular: Picasso 1932, Love, Fame, Tragedy. To this end we observed both the curatorial discourse and the communication strategies applied by Tate. This paper is part of a research project that includes MoMA, Malba, Centre Pompidou, and Reina Sofia. The study of this phenomenon will provide an overview of the epochal style of modern art museums in the conception and communication of modern and contemporary art exhibitions.
