Research of femtocell technologies for mobile cellular networks

    Get PDF
The purpose of writing this article is to present and study femtocellular technologies for mobile cellular networks. With the introduction of the fourth 4G-LTE and the fifth 5G generation of mobile cellular systems, the term femto cell began to be strongly mentioned. Femto cells are very small cells that provide mobile service users with a home base station to connect to the telecommunications operator's network. The femtocell technologies are mainly looking for ever higher data rates indoors, which most often leads to the implementation of UMTS / HSPA modules in the femtocell access point, as well as LTE and 5G

Personal data protection in the electronic communications sectors

    Get PDF
The right to protection of personal data is part of the rights protected under the European Convention on Human Rights, which guarantees the right to respect for private and family life, home and correspondence and defines the conditions under which limitations of this right are allowed. The development of communications and information technology in every public sector makes it increasingly easy to access and process personal data. This requires certain guarantees for the inviolability of personal information and privacy and at the same time implies the existence of clear rules to guarantee this protection. The specificity of data processing in electronic messages requires that, along with the general rules, additional requirements be introduced in the construction of networks and the provision of services

Legitimacy of the limitation on freedom of religion during imprisonment (in the light of polish and international regulations)

    Get PDF
This article is devoted to consider the legitimacy of restrictions on religious freedom during imprisonment, taking into account the nature of the sentence, the importance of religion in human life and in the life of the convict, as well as international and national regulations. The subject of the analysis is the Polish legal system, starting with the Constitution, which guarantees freedom of conscience and religion to everyone, and in particular Polish executive law, which declares respect for religious freedom in prison. It does not mean the guaranteeing unlimited access to religious practices and services, because imprisonment limits many human freedoms, also in such a sensitive area as religious freedom. In the course of the analysis, we considered the legitimacy of restrictions provided by criminal law, taking into account international standards for the protection of human rights and Polish regulations, which guarantee human rights and freedoms

Issues in the prevention of domestic violence

    No full text
The domestic violence is the “underwater”, latent, and poorly registered part of the violent crime, as by nature it takes place behind locked doors. The statistical data shows a serious spread of this type of violation in the Bulgarian society. Despite that, there is no sufficiently broad public discussion on the problem. In the background remains the activity of prevention of this particular type of crime. This article is dedicated to some issues related to the prevention and control of domestic violence

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the world dramatically. We will probably never see it again as it was before the appearance of the virus. We have all witnessed things that were very far away from us and have now become part of our daily lives. The virus has settled among us, and fear has settled in our hearts. We got used to hide in our homes or behind our masks, to avoid contacts, hugs. All happening around the virus started to excite me a lot from the first months of its appearance in Bulgaria together with the introduction of the state of emergency. I started asking myself different questions and looking for their answers. All topics around the coronavirus continue to be discussed until today – vaccines, restriction of fundamental rights, wearing personal protective equipment. With the research I did, I tried to answer some basic questions, referring to different regulations, as well as to give different points of view to practicing lawyers, opinions of the World Health Organization, as well as my own view

The role of the Constitutional court for the protection of the human rights

    No full text
Today in Europe there is a complex system of protection of individual rights based on different sources of law and respectively with a different procedure for their defence, but with common constitutional legal root. The “catalogue” of basic rights in constitutions served as inspiration for the drafters of the International act in the field of human rights, whilst in the constitutional legislative process usually the legislator turns to the established International Human Rights Standards. Constitutional courts participate in the promotion and development of human rights standards through their case-law. The references in the past 30 years, the amendments of chapter eight of the Constitution and the case-law of the Constitutional court of the Republic of Bulgaria show that it has a roles as human rights court. However, the system of constitutional review could be improved with the facilitation of the ordinary courts in the direct application of the Basic law on cases. One of the possible measures is the legal education in the field of human rights protection and the availability of scientific legal publications in service of the practicing lawyers

A comparison between traversiere and flute

    Get PDF
This article intends to analyze the differences between the ancient and the current musical praxis, highlighting the technical difficulties of both traversiere and modern flute. The difficulty of an eclectic approach in performing this sonata, consists in knowing how to realise a historically informed performance while inserting one’s own interpretation without being out of style. A further difficulty in performing the sonata with both instruments, consists in the awareness of technical and constructive differences, exploiting the strengths and masking the weaknesses. The enrichment resulting after this writing, will lead the performers not to be afraid to get involved in philological mistakes of praxis and to make them discover a critical approach to the text, inviting for a deeper reading of the score

Vocal difficulties for mid-career classical singers: A preliminary quantitative analysis

    Get PDF
In the penultimate chapter of her book Sängerische Begabung, the soprano and pedagog Kathrin Graf refers to a classical singer ending his or her solo career as a „taboo topicâ€, commenting that: „Just as in life, one seldom speaks of death, even though it awaits us all…the topic of how someone ends his singing career is hardly ever spoken about among singersâ€. So in the interest of full disclosure I would like describe my own vocal „near death experienceâ€. I hope through my research to develop a better understanding of this very difficult period in the professional  development of many singers. Why do so many professional singers seem to experience these crises, and what strategies can we use to deal with them? At the very least, this should provide valuable information for performers and teachers alike, even if the attrition rate amongst professional singers remains so high
