Model for Determining Noise Level Depending on Traffic Volume at Intersections
The negative external effects caused by traffic growth have been recognized as the main factors that degrade city quality of life. Therefore, research around the world is being conducted to understand the impact of traffic better and find adequate measures to reduce the negative impact of traffic growth. The central part of this research consists of mathematical models for simulating the negative consequences of congestion and noise pollution. Four non-linear models for determining noise levels as a function of traffic flow parameters (intensity and structure) in the urban environment were developed. The non-linear models, including two artificial neural networks and two random forest models, were developed according to the experimental measurements in Novi Sad, Serbia, in 2019. These non-linear models showed high anticipation accuracy of the equivalent continuous sound level (Laeq), with R-2 values of 0.697, 0.703, 0.959 and 0.882, respectively. According to the developed ANN models, global sensitivity analysis was performed, according to which the number of buses at crossings was the most positively signed influential parameter in Laeq evaluation, while the lowest Laeq value was reached during nighttime. The locations occupied by frequent traffic such as Futoska and Temerinska positively influenced the Laeq value
Improving the marketing potential of rural area through the cultivation of the industrial hemp
In presently, industrial hemp (Cannabis sativa L.) represents a controversial plant that is not researched enough. The aim of the study presented in this paper is to show that marketing of the rural areas can be done through the cultivation of industrial hemp. Hemp has a huge marketing potential which can be a tool of rural development in Serbia. Concrete results are given from the point of the view of three groups: people who reside in cities, owners of healthy food markets and producers. The author presented survey research which shows that the majority of people are not well educated about the difference between marijuana and industrial hemp. There is a common opinion that the production of industrial hemp itself is an advertisement of a rural area. The contribution and significance of herein presented results lies in the marketing of underdeveloped rural areas, redevelopment of cultivation of sidelined agricultural crops in order to strengthen the rural area
On the influence of software application for visualization in teaching double integrals
In this paper the authors described the influence of the computer-based environment on students' learning achievement of the multidimensional calculus, in particular double integrals. The research was conducted with the second year students at the University of Kragujevac, Serbia, with two groups of students: the experimental and the control one. During the learning process of the experimental group, the materials made in Wolfram Mathematica were used for visualization. Students from the experimental group used these materials in order to successfully solve their double integral tasks. In the control group, students did not use a computer. The students in both groups got the identical tasks in their learning process and for the exam. During the exam, the students from both groups were not allowed to use computers. The results of the students' exam tasks were analyzed, with the emphasis on influence of visualization using computer environment, in determining the domain and integration bounds within solving double integrals. It was shown that the students from the experimental group had better results in all the exam tasks and that the software application for the visualization of multivariate functions contributed to better students' achievements in determining the domain of integration and the integration bounds in order to solve double integrals
Economic Aspects of Smart City Development
Cities are the foundation of the civilized world, the incubator of human labor and economic growth. At the same time, cities as dynamic and complex systems due to the high concentration of activities and increasing urbanization may turn into a point of convergence of many economic,
demographic, social and environmental risks. Further development of cities is certainly unsustainable without innovative solutions and this is the main reason why smart city concept are becoming increasingly important. Smart cities are focused on people, sustainable development and quality of life, including technology which is a key instrument for their implementation.
Together with the digital transformation, a process that fully follows and enables the development of smart works, together they are gaining more and more economic significance. Worldwide, investment in smart urban technologies is estimated at over a hundred billion dollars per year,
building a brand new "smart city industry " that brings large investments directed to sustainable urban development. The main goal of this paper is to analyze smart cities from an economic point of view, in order to answer the question: whether and to what extent development of smart cities is
economically important? Research results shows that the economic impact is a very important aspect of smart city development, which can be multiplied if its outcomes are used wisely and be a powerful booster of economic growth. The Ninth International Scientific Conference on Climate Change, Economic Development Environment and People (CCEDEP), November 18th 2021, Shkoder, Albania, University of Shkodra “Luigj Gurakuqi”, Shkoder, Albania (2022

Konstrukcija akademskog identiteta, glas i autoritet: Autoetnografija jedne delatne zajednice
Contribution of trust, dialogue and cooperation between churches and religious communities in Serbia on national security
The study of trust, dialogue and cooperation between churches and religious communities in Serbia is of great importance, bearing in mind that the confessional structure of the population in Serbia in all its elements is extremely complex and heterogeneous. This can have a special impact on the national security of Serbia, considering that trust, dialogue and cooperation between churches and religious communities in Serbia are precisely those categories that are most susceptible to changes in accordance with current events in Serbia. Systematic monitoring and knowledge of churches and religious communities in Serbia ensures the national security of Serbia, its sovereignty and territorial integrity, and security is the basic functions and the most important elements of the statehood of each country and thus Serbia. The paper was created as a result of research conducted in Serbia, which describes trust, dialogue and cooperation between churches and religious communities as an important element of national security
