    No full text
Firefighting is considered as a physically demanding job. The commander of the Fire and Rescue Brigade (FRB) is the person responsible for the work of the FRB completely, where command and control of the unit require many qualities that cannot be guaranteed by the rank alone. The focus of this study is risk assessment from the aspect of safety and health at work. Furthermore, various measures to reduce the adverse impact of the included dangers and harms for the position of the Chief Fire Officer were suggested. The assessment was made on the basis of research, conversations with the Chief Fire Officer, as well as on the basis of documentation provided for inspection by the Fire and Rescue Brigade in Novi Sad (Serbia). For the purpose of risk assessment, the Fine-Kinney method was used. After the risk assessment, different measures to reduce the risk were proposed, apropos, to maintain the risk at an acceptable level

Although the application of artificial intelligence in almost all areas is not new, in the last few years intensive work has been done on its legal regulation. Despite the fact that only initial steps have been taken, it is obvious that the European Union is investing great efforts and resources in order to play a leading role in this process. In April 2021, one of the most important legal documents in this area was adopted - the Proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council Laying Down Harmonised Rules on Artificial Intelligence (Artificial Intelligence Act) and Amending Certain Union Legislative Acts. The authors deal with the analysis of Article 5 of this Draft Regulation, which lays down the cases in which the use of artificial intelligence should be banned. Taking into account that there is still not enough knowledge and experience regarding the consequences of the use of artificial intelligence, available different attitudes are explored. The fact that the legislation of the Republic of Serbia should be harmonized with the legal regulations of the European Union, which corresponds to the goals stated in the Strategy for the Development of Artificial Intelligence in the Republic of Serbia for the period 2020-2025, also contributes to the special significance of this research

Soil quality of the modern apple orchard grown under different NPK fertilization systems

    No full text
In cnhancing agricultural productivity, one of the most important determinants is to choose the best fertilizer application system. Among different application systems. fertigation can have multiple benefits on the yield and quality of crops since it can significantly reduce costs and increase the profitability. However. inadequate, excessive application of fertilizers through fertigation and irrigation may lead to soil degradation and deterioration of soil fertility. resulting in a change of some physical and chemical parameters of soil. Thus, the aim of this study was to compare the effect of fertigation and conventional fertilization on the soil chemical characteristics. The experiment was designed to determine the effect of two different ways of fertilizer application (through two treatments: drip irrigation systemfertigation and classical way) and three different doses of NPK fertilizers on chemical parameters of chernozem soil type. in a modern apple (Red Jonaprince variety) orchard. From cach treatment. bulk soil samples were taken for the determination of soil pH, mineral nitrogen (N), readily available potassium (K:0) and phosphorus (P20s). Samples were collected in the spring, before fertilizer application, to determine the initial soil condition and in the autumn, at the end of the vegetation period. The pH in H:0 when the highest dose of fertilizer was applied by fertigation had a significantly lower value compared to the control. while in classical fertilization all three doses implicated a decrease of pH value compared to the control. The results showed that different doses of fertilizers significantly affected the content of N, K:O and P:0s. Furthermore, the obtained results were strongly affected by meteorological conditions, because in some months the application of irrigation was not necessary, due to a large amount of precipitation. To conclude, these results could serve as an indicator for further analysis of soil impact on yield and quality of apple fruit

Cirkularna ekonomija kao imperativ održivog razvoja u Severnoj Makedoniji i Srbiji

The circular economy is the antithesis of the current linear model of an economy based on uncontrolled exploitation of natural resources and flow of materials (factory - user - landfill). The principle of the linear economy has a take-do-throw base, while the circular economy has a wider take-do-fix-reuse-recycle base. There is a great need for a circular economy in the world, with recycling being considered the leading instrument of this model of economy. Therefore, the aim of our work is to show that the circular economy is imperative for sustainable development in North Macedonia and Serbia. The paper is conceived in three parts. The first part is based on the analysis of the advantages of circular economy in the countries of the European Union. The second part presents the circular economy as a chance for sustainable development of the Republic of North Macedonia, while the third part is based on the circular economy as a required condition for sustainable development of the Republic of Serbia. The methodology used in this paper is based on qualitative research techniques, i.e. analysis, comparative analysis, and synthesis. The authors conclude that it is necessary to urgently establish the circular economy model and create an appropriate legal framework in these countries, following the example of leading European countries.Cirkularna ekonomija je antiteza dosadašnjem linearnom modelu privrede baziranom na nekontrolisanoj eksploataciji prirodnih resursa i protoku materijala (fabrika - korisnik – deponija). Princip linearne ekonomije ima u bazi uzmi-napravi-baci, dok cirkularna ekonomija ima širu bazu uzmi – napravi - popravi - ponovo koristi – recikliraj.

In line with its commitment to sustainable development, with an emphasis on environmental protection, climate change mitigation and social welfare, the European Union has proposed a Green Deal Platform (2019), including plans to boost the circular economy and create new jobs. Due to the global impact of the Covid 19 crisis, the EU has defined the EU Recovery Plan (2021), with developed mechanisms for the transition to a circular economy. while encouraging employment. The main goal of the paper is based on the need to, in order to successfully implement the planned activities. pre-assess trends in the labor market, which is influenced by a large number of various factors. A particular challenge is the analysis in developing European countries, which face large fluctuations in employment. Namely, these are countries in which certain foreign direct investments arc placed, but with an unknown impact on employment, while at the same time a large number of able-bodied people migrate from those same countries to EU countries, with an indefinite degree of migration from other parts of the world. For the purpose of comparison and for the purpose of gaining insight into the possible consequences of specific decisions of the state, in the sample, in addition to the countries of the Balkan Peninsula, Romania, there are also Turkey and Israel. The paper presents an assessment of the employment rate in relation to selected factors; foreign direct investment, inequality-adjusted Human Development Index, Total Debt and Migration Rate for the period from 2010 to 2019. The observed indicators were selected in accordance with the goal of the work, and they observe the trends in the period during the migrant crisis, which hit Europe in the mentioned period, and which can be expected in the future as well. The results showed that there is a medium correlation between the employment rate and the inequality-adjusted Human Development Index and a small correlation between the employment rate and the migration rate in the mentioned period for the observed countries. The paper indicates the changes that can be expected in the labor market with an intensive transition to circular economy, as well as indicates policy recommendations in this area. NT ae cad ci

The research included a total of 692 participants – preschool teachers and parents. It was found: 1) that Serbian folk lullabies are insufficiently represented in music education literature for preschool age; 2) that preschool teachers and parents are not sufficiently informed about the educational benefit and importance of folk lullabies. The paper contributes to the actualization of Serbian traditional folk lullabies, and their greater representation in music education literature and practice. The descriptive method was used in the research, as well as the analysis and synthesis method

Energy Security of the Republic of Serbia in the Conditions of COVID 19 Pandemic

    No full text
The Republic of Serbia does not have enough resources to satisfy its needs for energy. Thus, its energy security must be ensured by the energy imports. The starting hypothesis is that the disruptions in the functioning of the world energy market provoked by the COVID 19 pandemic, revealed the necessity for diversification of energy production. In a crisis situation, excessive reliance on imports is a big threat to macroeconomic stability. The aim of this paper is to show that in the long run the stability of the national energy system calls for the policy of energy imports substitution with domestic renewable energy sources

Mehanizmi i strategije upravljanja krizama u turizmu

    No full text
A koronavírus járvány következtében 2020-ban a világ szinte összes országában utazási korlátozások voltak érvényben, többségük teljesen lezárta a határait. A Turisztikai Világszervezet más szervezetekkel együttműködve több ajánlást is megfogalmazott a szektor újraindításához, amelyek nemcsak az ágazat helyreállítására alkalmasak, hanem az erősebb és fenntarthatóbb működés eléréséhez is.Globally, tourism is one of the most dynamically growing economic sectors, which has a significant impact on both the world economy and national economies. Tourism is the fourth largest export category of the European Union, which affects the economy as a whole. Tourism is also very important in the economy of our country. As a result of the coronavirus epidemic, travel restrictions were in force in almost all countries of the world in 2020, most of them completely closed their borders. In the meantime, the virus epidemic has subsided, international tourist traffic has started again, and the sector is now more prepared to respond to the appearance of another wave of epidemics through various crisis management mechanisms and strategies. The thesis first presents crisis situations in tourism, with a special focus on health crises, then summarizes the impact of the coronavirus epidemic on the tourism sector with the help of secondary data, and also presents the international and government measures related to the crisis. The World Tourism Organization, in cooperation with other organizations, formulated several recommendations for the restart of the sector, which are suitable not only for the recovery of the sector, but also for achieving stronger and more sustainable operation
