Pregled prakse Evropskog suda za ljudska prava od značaja za obradu podataka o ličnosti putem video-nadzora
Ubrzani razvoj novih tehnologija, uključujući i veštačku inteligenciju, koje se koriste u cilju obrade podataka o ličnosti predstavlja sve veći izazov za zakonodavca kada je reč o zaštiti prava na privatnost zajemčenog čl. 8, st. 1 Evropske konvencije, ali i čl. 42 Ustava Republike Srbije kojim se explicite jemči pravo na zaštitu podataka o ličnosti. S tim u vezi, standardi uspostavljeni odlukama Evropskog suda za ljudska prava u tumačenju obima i sadržine prava na privatnost i drugih prava i sloboda zajemčenih Konvencijom sastavni su deo unutrašnjeg pravnog poretka Republike Srbije. Ovi su standardi od posebnog značaja, imajuću u vidu da obrada podataka o ličnosti putem video-nadzora u našem pravu nije izričito uređena.
U radu je predstavljena praksa Evropskog suda za ljudska prava koja obuhvata ključna pitanja od značaja za obradu podataka o ličnosti putem video-nadzora, u svetlu standarda koje Sud primenjuje za ocenu legitimnog ograničenja prava na privatnost i drugih relativnih prava, uključujući i nedavnu presudu u kojoj se Sud prvi put izjašnjavao o obradi podataka o ličnosti putem video-nadzora sa opcijom prepoznavanja lica
Natural hazard risk analysis in the framework of water safety plans
The available literature on natural hazard risk analysis focused on the implementation of water safety plans (WSPs) is surprisingly quite poor, despite the significant increase in the number and severity of disasters and adverse effects on drinking water supply systems generated by natural hazards. At the same time, WSPs that conveniently account for natural hazards with a comprehensive approach ‘from source to tap’ are still scarce as they typically occur at larger spatial scales and adequate prevention, mitigation and adaptation require efficient inter-institutional collaborations. The aim of this paper is to highlight the main bottlenecks for water utilities to include natural hazards in the development of their WSPs. The research adopted a stakeholders-oriented approach, involving a considerable number of water utilities (168), water sectoral agencies (15) and institutions (68) across the Adriatic-Ionian Region through a stepwise process that generated joint SWOTanalysis, the development of a decision support system (DSS) focused on WSPs procedures and tabletop exercises. The final outcomes generated strategic documents (REWAS– Adrion Road map for resilient water supply) that highlighted the necessity for efficient cross-sectoral and inter-institutional cooperation in the development of well-founded and robust WSPs to address natural hazard risk analysis for water supply systems (DWSS)
The underpinning of the evaluation of aerobic endurance based on methods established in the late 20th century: A systematic review
This systematic review aims to analyze the validity (invasive and noninvasive protocols) of aerobic endurance evaluation methods established in the late 20th century and their practical application in creating training series in different sports events. The PRISMA system was used for systematic review. It was identified that high number of studies support the concept of the evaluation of aerobic endurance, i.e., aerobic threshold (AnT), in terms of its significance for the determination of training series and training intensity aimed at aerobic endurance improvement. During the protocol of testing and construction of the lactate curve (La – work capacity), the method based on sampling and measurement of lactate concentration in blood is given priority as a more valid instrument for AnT determination than the method based on ventilatory parameters and heart frequency. Authors note that the parameters based on which AnT is determined are expressed in different units of measure (m/min, km/h, ml/kg/min) so that AnT, as such, does not only represent the measure of aerobic endurance but also the measure of maximal oxygen consumption (VO2max) and mechanical efficiency. The results of the study indicate that terms related to AnT should be removed from official use. More precisely, researchers and coaches focus on a method related to the interpretation of the lactate curve (at a certain %VO2max) to determine whether there has been an improvement (or not) in aerobic endurance based on its displacement (to the right or to the left)

The academic success of primary school children in rural environments is
influenced by different factors encompassing cognitive, socio-emotional, and environmental
dimensions. This study explores these dynamics to understand their
impact on students’ educational outcomes. Cognitive factors such as memory and
attention are crucial for comprehension and critical thinking, while socio-emotional
factors like intrinsic motivation and emotional well-being significantly influence
engagement and achievement. Socioeconomic disparities, including economic
conditions and parental education levels, further shape educational opportunities
and outcomes. The study also examines students’ attitudes toward school, extracurricular
activities, and their access to educational resources. Data was collected
through a survey among 71 students from rural elementary schools, focusing on
demographics, attitudes, educational material conditions, and socio-economic
characteristics. Results indicate a high interest in learning despite varying academic
achievements, influenced by familial support, access to resources, and engagement
in extracurricular activities like sports. Recommendations include enhancing
curriculum quality, improving resource accessibility, fostering parental involvement,
and diversifying extracurricular offerings to support holistic development
and improve academic outcomes in rural schools

In recent years, the dynamic development of information and communication technology has had a huge impact on marketing. Today, we are witnessing a new revolutionary transformation: artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing the world of business, education, healthcare, tourism, marketing, etc. AI is already an integral part of our present and can be applied in many areas. New opportunities are also opening up in the world of tourism marketing. In this study, some of the most important opportunities for the use of AI in marketing and tourism marketing are presented. Additionally, the situation in Serbia is discussed, i.e., the current state of AI use in the country in general and in the field of tourism marketing

This paper examines the political economy of populism, with a focus on Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries. Following the global financial crisis of 2008, Hungary and Poland developed distinct populist economic programs that have begun to influence other CEE countries, including Serbia. This paper explores the causes of populism, the transformation of post-crisis economic models, and the specific economic policies characterizing populist governments in the region. Through in depth case studies of Hungary, Poland, and Serbia, the research highlights how these policies are underpinned by economic nationalism, workforce activation, natalism, and sovereignty. Furthermore, the paper investigates the impact of these policies on attracting new sources of foreign investment, particularly from authoritarian states in the East.Ovaj rad istražuje političku ekonomiju populizma, s posebnim fokusom na zemlje Centralne i Istočne Evrope (CEE). Nakon globalne finansijske krize 2008. godine, Mađarska i Poljska razvile su specifične populističke ekonomske programe koji su počeli da utiču i na druge zemlje CEE, uključujući Srbiju. Ovaj rad istražuje uzroke populizma, transformaciju ekonomskih modela nakon krize, kao i specifične ekonomske politike koje karakterišu populističke vlade u regionu. Kroz detaljne studije slučaja Mađarske, Poljske i Srbije, istraživanje ističe kako su ove politike zasnovane na ekonomskom nacionalizmu, aktivaciji radne snage, natalizmu i suverenitetu. Effects of persistent organic pollutants and mercury in protected area „Obrenovački zabran”
This study aims to assess and monitor the health of an urban pro tected area by analysing the levels of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) and
mercury (Hg) in soil and sediments. Based on the results, the detected concen trations of organochlorine pesticides (OCPs), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs),
polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and Hg are above the threshold
maximum values for soils and the prescribed target values for sediments. In the
investigated protected area PCBs pose a very high ecological risk. The pre sence of 16 priority PAHs in analysed soils and sediments poses a moderate to
high cancer risk and Hg poses a considerable health risk to children. The res earch suggests that preserving urban protected areas is crucial for environ mental and urban sustainability. In urban environments these areas should be
evaluated in terms of their environmental, eco-geochemical, economic and
socio-cultural dimensions. The value of the existence of this natural oasis lies
in its aesthetic and psycho-hydrological impact, local climate regulation, resi dential isolation and significant art-architectural and horticultural shaping. The
interconnection between eco-geochemical and management practices, planning,
and urban green spaces policy should become an adopted innovation in the
cities in the future
Integrated Transboundary Tisza River Basin Management Reinforcement by Natural Water Retention Measures
Interdependency between river basin water retention capacity and different types of water erosion is well
documented and recognized by researchers and practitioners. Erosion adverse effects on sustainable water and land
management from local (catchment/ drainage scale) to river basin level are various and generated by natural and anthropogenic
drivers. The solutions and measures to address these issues span across Multilateral Environmental Agreements, sectoral
policies and legal framework. Consequently, the effective cooperation among different sectors, stakeholders and decision
makers is required from local catchment to transboundary river basin level. Natural water retention measures (NWRM)
multi-functionality in addressing water-related challenges by integrating different policy objectives at the river basin scale,
increased their relevance identification in river basin management plans. Selected NWRM with medium to high benefits
with respect to erosion reduction, sediment delivery, flood risk reduction, etc., are summarized. The main steps in flood risk
management, “win-win” measures identification by Tisza countries and NWRM included in the Integrated Tisza River Basin
Management Plan (2019) are presented. Well-structured data collection approach for different policies integration instead
of underlying differences and discrepancies is a good starting point for the productive shared river basins management and
governance. If the implementation of the NWRM have potential downstream cumulative effects on low flow water regime
the mechanism for evaluation of potential consequences has to be established and defined
Allium ursinum L.-A comprehensive review of ethnopharmacology, phytochemistry and pharmacology: from folk to modern medicine
Allium ursinum L. belonging to Liliaceae family, also called wild garlic, is perennial
herbaceous plant which grows up to 50 cm high and features elongated narrow bulbs. It has a
triangular stem and broad elliptical leaves. Clusters of white, star-like flowers grow from a
common stem. Wild garlic is spring geophyte naturally occurring in Europe and Asia. They
carpet shady sites in damp woods and by streams. The edible parts are collected in the wild;
the harvesting of leaves is carried out during early spring (April–May), before the appearance
of flowers, while the bulbs are collected in autumn (September–October). The plant smells
and tastes like garlic. Wild garlic held significant renown among ancient Romans, Celts, and
Teutonic tribes as one of the most ancient medicinal herbs. According to Greek mythology,
Odysseus famously utilized wild garlic as a protective charm to ward off the sorceress Circe's
enchantments, preventing her from transforming him into a pig. Its medicinal properties are
documented in the renowned "Papyrus Ebers," where over 800 therapeutic formulations are
detailed, with 22 specifically highlighting garlic as an effective remedy for various ailments
such as heart issues, headaches, insect bites, intestinal worms, and tumors. This versatile herb
found its place in the practices of ancient civilizations, including the Egyptian pharaohs who
valued it and the laborers who constructed the pyramids. References to wild garlic extend to
ancient Indian texts like the Ayurvedic "Bower Manuscript," where it was recommended for
its antiseptic properties in treating wounds and ulcers. Throughout the Middle Ages, figures
like Constantinus Africanus, Hildegard von Bingen, and Albertus Magnus featured garlic
prominently in their medicinal writings, highlighting its enduring significance in the realm of
natural healing. Wild garlic is characterized by a high content of biologically active
compounds (volatile oil, aldehydes, vinyl sulfide and vitamin C). It is valued as a natural
remedy in traditional medicine, usually used for the treatment and prevention of
gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, and respiratory diseases. Allii ursini herba and Allii ursini
bulbus have antiseptic, bacteriostatic and antiparasitic properties. Garlic extracts are also
reputed to reduce serum cholesterol levels, hypertension, vascular disorders, the incidence of
tumors and it increases blood coagulation time. Furthermore, it is also used in kitchen,
particularly its young leaves collected at the beginning of flowering season. Allium ursinum is
a valuable plant in both traditional and modern medicine, offering a wide range of health
benefits supported by scientific research. Its comprehensive phytochemical composition and
diverse pharmacological effects makes it a significant subject for continued study and
