Psychagogic art theory
The text represents a specific approach to Gorgias' Praise to Helen. Instead of considering it as a cradle of art theory of illusion (apate) or some kind of rhetoric acrobatic feat in which Gorgia praises the blameworthy, author considers Praise to Helen as first aesthetic text in European philosophy in which fine arts and poetry had been connected by means of one notion - notion of psychagogia, and looks upon it as a foundation of art theory that could be denoted as theory of psychagogia
Following the steps of Ibsen: Chinese Noras
У раду ћемо преко компаративне анализе неколико „драма о Нори“ и Лу Сунове приповетке Туга за прошлим
данима, с једне сране, и Ибзенове Луткине куће, с друге стране,
покушати да одговоримо на следећа питања: на који начин је Ибзенова Нора прихваћена у Кини у периоду Покрета четвртог маја
и како су кинеске Норе схватале породицу и друштво? Посебна
пажња посвећена је последицама Нориног одласка од куће и питању постизања стварне аутономије личности.Through the comparative analysis of several 'Nora plays' and Lu Xun’s short story Regret for the Past, on one side, and Ibsen’s A Doll’s House, on the other, this article tends to answer the following questions: in which way is Ibsen’s Nora received in May Fourth period’s China, and how do Chinese Noras perceive family and society? The article pays a special attention to the consequences of Nora’s leaving home, as well as to the problem of achieving the real personal autonomy
An ottoman order on the military destruction of Serbia from 1807
U radu je kritički priređena i objavljena naredba o vojnom uništenju srpske ustaničke države, izdata 13. jula 1807. During the war against the rebellious Serbian state, the Ottoman Empire tried to resolve the issue of Serbia in various ways, including diplomatic efforts, and the use of force. One of the letters, written on 13 July 1807, in the office of either Grand Vizier or another high-ranking official of Porta who had the vizier rank, indicated how the Ottoman authorities acted that year in order to conquer Serbia. The letter was critically arranged, along with the Serbian translation and transcription to the contemporary Turkish spelling. This resource contained information about an unsuccessful mediating mission of a Metropolitan of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, as well as on the decision to stop the uprising by force. Comparing it with other sources, it could be concluded that the Metropolitan was the Bishop of Ćustendil. As anticipated military measures were concerned, they were very cruel: enslavement of all vassals who abandoned him, looting and destroying their property. However, this proclamation could not be realized because in 1806 and 1807, Serbian uprising army won a series of victories over the Ottoman army. Then, Porta again turned to diplomatic means, but in 1813, the military solution was fully in accordance with the proclamations from this letter
Space and the story in Vladimir Pištalo's novel Venice
Many literary and social theories have seen human brain as a palimpsest. In the writings of Thomas de Quincey and Sigmund Freud human brain is viewed as a palimpsest in which experience could be written, erased and written over indefinitely. On the other hand Jacques Derrida sees text as a palimpsest in which all previous texts that have contributed to its making are inscribed in the shape of invisible, that is, unconscious traces. How the content of the inner human spaces is being projected on the outer or geographical space is described in Gaston Bachelard’s study The Poetics of Space. The aim of this essay is to describe the fictitious space of the novel Venice by Vladimir Pistalo, tracing the story, as its narrator does, along the elusive track between the private and public, or conscious and unconscious space of the city as a huge palimpsest
On nouns functioning as prepositions
U ovom radu govori se o konverziji imenica vrh, dno, put, kraj, duž, mesto, čelo u predloge. Analizira se modifikacija značenja ovih imenica do koje dolazi prilikom popredložavanja. Istražuje se semantički odnos između polazne imenice i dobijenog predloga i iznose se odgovori na pitanja zbog čega samo neke imenice mogu da se popredlože i zašto se ovako dobijeni predlozi gube iz savremenog srpskog jezika. This paper analyzes semantic transformations of nouns functioning as prepositions. The semantic characteristics of prepositions are discussed, and Belic’ concept of adverbial origin and meaning of prepositions is reviewed. Contrary to usual perception that prepositions have mere grammatical meaning, it is concluded in this paper that they also have lexical meaning, like adverbs. Cognitive linguistics has so far dealt with lexical meanings of prepositions, and it is up to contemporary semantics to further explore and evolve this approach. Based on this fact that prepositions have lexical meaning, it is argued that nouns functioning as prepositions retain that lexical attribute though with different semantic value, rather than it adopts grammatical characteristics. It is concluded that semantic meaning of those nouns used as prepositions could be broken into two segments: adverbial (place) and nominal (partitive). The nouns which upon occasions may function as prepositions in Serbian language as a rule denote place and they always are used with genitive case (mostly partitive), and as a consequence they often have partitive meaning. In the sentences with nouns functioning as prepositions, the act expressed encompasses the part of the localizator or it is performed on its bounds, or near it. Which meaning would prevail depends on the noun, or verb, or noun in genitive case. A noun and its related preposition are treated as two lexemes in Serbian descriptive dictionaries, independent but close in meanings, since the preposition originated from a noun in a process defined by Irena Grickat as grammar polysemy, i.e. a polysemy with the grammatical result. In some grammar books identical forms of a preposition and nominative and accusative noun forms are defined as homophoria, and those prepositions and nouns are called homophores. Since homophoria is a type of homonymy, and homonymy excludes semantic relation between lexemes, the term homophoria had to be discarded. It is suggested in this paper that only few nouns in Serbian language can function as prepositions due to fact that only those few have possibility to combine semantically high-productive spatiality with partitivity (rarely possessiveness), as a result of their obligatory usage with partitive (sometimes, possessive) genitive. The usage of nouns as prepositions in Serbian language is slowly going out because their semantics is imprecise, and in certain circumstances difficult to differentiate, which means that the process of transformation of nouns into prepositions was not complete. Thus, more frequent today are compound prepositions formed by a real preposition and a noun (navrh, uvrh, podno). Their semantics is more distinctive and more precise due to real preposition as constituents
Bloom ... Nietzsche ... Foucault ... Rorty Philosophical Assumptions of Antithetical Criticism
The paper examines the importance of Nietzsche's ideas for the genesis and development of Harold Bloom's theoretical conceptions. The focus is on revisionist foundations of the idea of "anxiety of influence", as well as on Bloom's polemic with contemporary theoretical orientations he pejoratively labeled as "School of Resentment". In addition, certain elements of Bloom's poetics are confronted with Nietzsche's legacy present in the work of two philosophers, Michel Foucault and Richard Rorty. Pointing out the similarities and differences - and also the related views of authors such as Gilles Deleuze and Paul de Man - the paper confirms that Nietzsche's opus, partly due to capacity for different interpretations, has those qualities that Bloom defines as "canonical"

Sredi osnovnyh sredstv verbalizacii funkcional'no-semantičeskoj kategorii ožidannosti/neožidannosti vydeljajutsja leksičeskie sredstva, v tom čisle narečija neožidanno i vnezapno v russkom, t.e. neočekivano i iznenada v serbskom jazyke.
