Names and their forms in Polish landed gentry – on the material of memories
No full textThe article is between onomastics and sociolinguistics. The author shows the informal forms
of names, which are used in Polish family of landed gentry in the beginning of XX century. The
author carried out a word-formation analysis of a large collection of these forms, selected
from three memory books. The article is an important contribution to the knowledge of the
riches of the diminutives, which Poles in different epochs and environments have addressed
themselves
Dialectal phrasemes in the Internet communication
No full textThe article discusses the way in which phrasemes of dialectal origin are transferred to the
colloquial Polish language. The material basis includes the utterances of the Internet users
posted on various kinds of forums and blogs. According to the analysis of the material, folk
phraseology is quite expansive and it enriches the colloquial language phraseology to a great
extent. Dialectal phrasemes have a specific stylistic value, they carry out assessments, they
express the author’s emotions, and sometimes they make a text a bit humorous. Due to
such values, they attract the readers’ attention, which is the most important objective in the

community. Stworzenie środowiska uczenia się i kultury współpracy to jedna z 6
cech różniących ten model od innych modeli funkcjonowania szkoły. Nauczyciele we
wspólnocie zgłębiają zagadnienia własnej codziennej praktyki oraz obserwują bieżące
osiągnięcia swoich uczniów. Planują i wypracowują rozwiązania oraz sposoby działania,
wdrażają je i oceniają ich skuteczność. Dążą do rozwoju nowych umiejętności
i kompetencji. Stopniowo zwiększona świadomość prowadzi do zmian postaw, przekonań
i nawyków. Prezentowane w artykule rozważania wpisują się w dyskurs pedagogiczny
o rozwoju zawodowym nauczyciela w miejscu pracy.The article presents the major underlying assumptions for the model of the
professional learning community. Creating a learning environment and a culture of cooperation
is one of six features that distinguish this model from other models of school
functioning. In the community, teachers study their own everyday practice and watch
their students’ progress. They plan and develop solutions and methods, implement
them and evaluate their effectiveness. They develop new skills and competences. The
gradually enhanced awareness leads to a change in attitudes, beliefs, and habits. The
issues discussed here are part and parcel of pedagogical discourse on teacher’s development
in the workplace

ukraińskiej, specyfika prac przygotowawczych do zatwierdzenia przez Radę Ministerstwa
Edukacji i Nauki Ukrainy oraz Zarządzenia Gabinetu Ministrów Ukrainy
nr 98 z 14.12.2016 r. w sprawie zatwierdzenia koncepcji realizacji polityki państwa w
obszarze reformy ogólnokształcącej szkoły średniej „Nowa szkoła ukraińska” na okres
do 2029 roku. Wyróżnione zostały składowe koncepcji, takie jak: kierunki oraz zadania
wdrożeniowe zgodnie z każdym kierunkiem. Zostały także przeanalizowane takie
obszary jak: znaczenie i treść głównych kompetencji absolwenta szkoły średniej (komunikacja
z państwem (język ojczysty w przypadku różnic) i języków obcych, umiejętności
matematyczne, kompetencje w zakresie nauk przyrodniczych i technologii,
kompetencje informacyjne i cyfrowe, umiejętności życiowe, kompetencje obywatelskie,
przedsiębiorczość, ogólne umiejętności kulturowe, znajomość środowiska naturalnego
i zdrowy styl życia). Opisano podejścia do rozwoju nowego standardu ogólnego
szkolnictwa średniego. Przedstawiono trzy główne etapy reformy, które zostaną
przeprowadzone w latach 2018-2029. Zwrócono uwagę na nową ustawę Ukrainy „O
edukacji” (2017).The main provisions of the Concept of the new Ukrainian school, peculiarities
of the preparatory work for its approval by the Board of the Ministry of Education
and Science of Ukraine and the Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No.988-p
of 14.12.2016 On Approving the Concept for the Implementation of State Policy in the
Field of General Secondary Education Reform “New Ukrainian School” for the period
up to 2029 have been revealed. The components of the Concept, directions, tasks of
implementation in accordance with each direction are highlighted. The significance
and content of the main competences of the graduate of high school (communication
with the state (native in case of difference) and foreign languages, mathematical literacy,
competence in natural sciences and technologies, information and digital competence,
life skills, social and civil competencies, entrepreneurship, general cultural
literacy, environmental literacy and healthy life) have been analyzed. The approaches
to the development of a new standard of general secondary education are described.
Three main stages of the reform, which will be carried out in 2018-2029 have been
described. The attention to the new Law of Ukraine "On Education" (2017) has been
drawn

Agnieszki Ogonowskiej.Rozprawa doktorska oscyluje wokół zagadnienia (auto)biograficznych narracji transmedialnych twórców rockowych.
Niniejsza praca składa się z wprowadzenia, trzech rozdziałów i podsumowania. Pierwszy rozdział zatytułowany „O
(auto)biograficznych narracjach transmedialnych na przykładzie twórców anglosaskich” koncentruje się na analizie
publikacji o charakterze autobiograficznym prekursorów muzyki heavymetalowej. Analizie zostały poddane następujące
teksty artystów rockowych: Ja, Ozzy autorstwa Johna Ozzy’ego Osbourne’a i Chrisa Ayresa, Biała Gorączka Iana
Lemmy’ego Kilmistera i Janis Garzy oraz Iron Man: Moja podróż przez niebo i piekło z Black Sabbath Tony’ego
Iommiego i TJ Lammersa. Szczególną uwagę poświęcono w tej części zagadnieniu paratekstów (m.in. dedykacjom,
wstępom, tytułom, fotografiom). W rozdziale drugim rozprawy zatytułowanym „W kręgu tekstów interlokucyjnych
polskich muzyków rockowych” omówiono kwestie związane z „pamiętnikami mówionymi” współtworzonymi przez rodzimych
artystów (Marka Piekarczyka, Adama Nergala Darskiego) oraz dziennikarzy muzycznych (Leszka Gnoińskiego, Krzysztofa
Azarewicza, Piotra Weltrowskiego). W tym miejscu podjęto także refleksję nad tekstami interlokucyjnymi w kontekście
wybranych aspektów pamięci autobiograficznej. W rozdziale trzecim pracy analizie poddano wybrane teksty kultury
(okładki albumów, wideoklipy, teksty piosenek). Zwrócono również uwagę na rolę rockowych filmów dokumentalnych
(m.in. God Bless Ozzy Osbourne, Lemmy: The Movie) w procesie autokreacji wizerunku artystów.This doctoral thesis is focused around the issue of (auto)biographical transmedia narratives of rock musicians.
This dissertation consists of introduction, three chapters and conclusion. First chapter, entitled “About (auto)
biographical transmedia narratives based on Anglo-Saxon musicians” is focused on the analysis of autobiographical
books of heavy metal music precursors. Texts of rock musicians books: I am Ozzy written by John Ozzy Osbourne &
Chris Ayres, White Line Fever written by Ian Lemmy Kilmister & Janis Garza, and Iron Man: My Journey Through Heaven
and Hell with Black Sabbath written by Tony Iommi & TJ Lammers, were analyzed in this chapter. In this section
special attention was paid to paratexts (dedications, introductions, titles, pictures). Second part of
dissertation, entitled “In the circle of table-talks of Polish rock musicians” is focused on the analysis of
autobiographical texts written by polish rock artists (Marek Piekarczyk, Adam Nergal Darski) and music journalists
(Leszek Gnoiński, Krzysztof Azarewicz, Piotr Weltrowski). This chapter was also touched upon the reflection on the
musicians “table-talk” in the context of some aspects of autobiographical memory. Selected cultural texts (album
covers, music videos, song lyrics) were analyzed in third chapter. Attention was also paid on the role of rock
documentaries (God Bless Ozzy Osbourne, Lemmy: The Movie) in the process of creating the image of artists

society, its needs for successful growth, challenges and skills the worker should

Polish success of success in the light of lexicographical works and self-help books
No full textIn her article the author discusses “success” – one of most important words defining the
contemporary culture and people. She asks about the meaning of the word and compares
its use in self-help books with the definition found in dictionaries of the Polish language.
How is the contemporary “culture of success” created by those “new” meaning profiles?
The first part of the analysis concerns the semantics of “success” in selected historical and
modern dictionaries. K. Skowronek points out that the word has undergone the process
of amelioration: from a neutral element to a positive one. The second part of the article is
a narrative analysis. The author presents the semantics of the word in contemporary self-help
books. She highlights its individualistic and self-disciplining character. Nowadays, success is
synonymous with happiness and the meaning of life. It predominantly entails an obsessive
chase while not necessarily a real achievement
