“At The Time” and “At That Time” in the Poetry of Nakahara Chuya ~ Non-demonsrativeness of Demonstratives ~
application/pdfIn the appreciation and interpretation of the works of Nakahara Chuya, it is pointed out that many readers show a marked tendency to adopt a method, or an attitude, of appreciating and interpreting his works by making them and his life itself overlap over a method of appreciating and interpreting his works alone.
Why do the readers adopt such a method or attitude?
It is not only because of what might be considered, “a matter of the readers,” namely that the readers tend to appreciate and interpret his works by drawing them toward his life itself with worldly interest s, but mainly because of, “a matter of the works,” namely that his works themselves include the characteristics leading to such a method or attitude.
Another reason is can be seen in the following example: Nakahara uses “at the time,” “at that time,” “in that way,” or the like in his works, keeping their concreteness almost hidden, which could be named “Non-demonstrativeness of Demonstratives.” Consequently, it is thought that the readers left behind in his poetry tend to seek the appreciation and interpretation of the contents of the demonstratives in the writer’s life itself.
Moreover, such characteristics are those the whole Nakahara-poetry has even in his other works free from the use of the demonstratives like “at the time,” “at that time,” and so on. The world of the scenes and stories in each work are not described objectively, but described as “the demonstratives ,” which guide to Nakahara’s heart made up of his motif: “boredom,” “melancholy,” and “disappointment.
Game Analysis of University Team in Men's Handball
application/pdfThe principal aim of this study was to verify the data of official games after training and coaching based on the game analysis in our team’s training
matches. Furthermore, we will make an optimized training program for coaching by comparing our team’s official games and game analysis data with the latest data from the world’s top European teams. As a result, in the offensive phase, we have found significant correlations in the efficiency of goal throws, the efficiency of positioned attacks, the number of goal throws and goals in the court area ③, the number of IFB, the number of goals, the efficiency of attack completion between our team and the opponent’s team. These results tend to be the same for world’s top-level teams as well as for our team also in official games. In offence, it is important to shoot from the court area with high efficiency goal throws (e.g. the court area ③). In addition, although there was no significant difference in FB, which is said to be the key-element that makes the difference between winning and
losing, we need to make a numerically advantage with speed and accuracy. In the defensive phase, we found significant correlations in the efficiency of the goalkeeper between the victorious and the defeated teams, therefore we need to carry a shooter to the court area where there is a low efficiency goal throws, leading to the efficiency of the goalkeeper. Additionally, in order to win a game, it is important to induce the opponent’s team to make TO, and we need to connect to FB and to accumulate goals
A Survey on “Confidence in Teaching Science ”for Students Wishing to Take an Elementary School Teacher's License
application/pdfThis paper is based on the survey on “Confidence in Teaching Science at Elementary Schools” conducted by Shimoikura, Dobashi and Matsumoto (2014). We conducted a similar survey for students who aim to obtain an elementary school teacher’s license in the Faculty of Human Development of Takamatsu University. We made a close examination of the “Confidence in Teaching Science at Elementary Schools” of our students, and consequently found that our students’ awareness that they are not good at physics or chemistry leads to their lack of confidence in teaching science. We also found that they are worried about their lack of scientific knowledge and their lack of experience in observational experiments. Furthermore, we discovered that many students wish to learn more about science at elementary schools stated in the Course of Study, both superficial and concrete knowledge, through observation and experiment. This paper points out ways to conduct classes where students are able to have confidence in teaching science
A Development Of Communication Game To Acquire Programming Ideas
application/pdfThis research is related to the development of a guide game for learning programming ideas. The guide is to convey the route from the current
location to the destination to others and is often used in the field of information design to improve communication skills. The idea has something to do with the programming idea of emphasizing the path and process to reach the answer, not giving the answer.
Therefore, I started to make a game in which the lost child informs the guide of the current situation, the guide guesses the current location of the lost child from the information and instructs the route to the destination. The game itself still has many problems and is far from complete, but it has become possible to carry out a simulation. This is a report on that research

Therefore, the lessons were held while showing the practice of using childcare cultural propertie
Teaching Method of the Least Common Multiple in Elementary School Mathematics:Visually understand methods of the least common multiple of two integers that are not relatively prime
application/pdfTeaching Method of the Least Common Multiple in Elementary School Mathematics:Visually understand methods of the least common multiple of two integers that are not relatively prime Learning the "least common multiple" in "the properties of integers" in the fifth grade of elementary school leads to "addition and subtraction of fractions". However, there are some students who are not good at "addition and subtraction of fractions" because they cannot find the "least common multiple" quickly and appropriately. In particular, some students seem to believe that the least common multiple of two integers is the product of the two numbers. Therefore, teachers must consider how to help students visually understand the least common multiples of two integers that are not relatively prime, by "decomposing a number into the product of the two numbers" and "recognizing the product of the two numbers as the number of blocks",before learning "addition and subtraction of fractions"
Implementation of Structured Group Encounter Workshop by the Student Counseling
application/pdfStructured group encounters (SGE) were held as workshops in the Student Counseling Office for three years. Many positive effects were confirmed from students’ free writing after the implementation, such as deepening students' self-understanding and self-affirmation, and building understanding and trusting relationships with others. In particular, the experience of knowing their own strengths and complimenting each other from the perspective of others created warmth, leading to interaction across grades and a reduction in distance. On the other hand, there was also resistance every year,as indicated by such feedback such as “I was careful”,”I was embarrassed” and “It was difficult”. There were also students who found it difficult to disclose themselves. The background is the “resistance to composition” and “resistance to change” pointed out by Katano (2001) and it is thought that the immaturity of the group’s composition and self-concept that has been learned is the main factor. As Kobayashi and Miyahara (2012) explain, a lack of trust and positive self-concept may reduce self-disclosure motivation. In the future, it will be important to establish a support system by observers such as clinical psychologists to respond quickly and follow up on students who show resistance. In addition, it is essential to devise ways to increase the sense of trust that allows people to express themselves with peace of mind and to improve recruitment methods that allow diverse members to gather, which are essential for the continuous development of the program
