Development of teaching materials for “head coverings”① Animal head coverings made from cardboard
Get PDFapplication/pdfStarting in 2021, the author taught a class called “Children and Creative Expression II” in the Department of Child Care. One of the assignments for this class is to make a “headgear”. The content of this assignment was enriched as the class progressed between 2021 to and 2023. This article is the first in the “headgear” assignment series and reports on the development of teaching materials for the 2021 assignment, “Creating Animal Headgear from Cardboard”. It looks back on the process of developing teaching materials through repeated prototyping, and reports and discusses the content and methods of lessons using the teaching materials, as well as considering future directions
