In order for childcare workers to create a desirable musical environment for children, they must be able to enjoy music themselves. The main aim of this class was to teach the necessary skills to sing and play music. At the same time, the class also aimed to help students develop the confidence to sing and speak in front of others without hesitation
Government Involvement in CSR － Focusing on CSR Policies of European Countries －
Get PDFapplication/pdfThe purpose of this paper is to compares the CSR policies in European countries and discusses the analytical framework for them. First, Matten and Moonʼs “Implicit/Explicit CSR” framework is applied to describe the characteristics of CSR in Europe. Secondly, based on the analytical framework by Lozano and Albareda, the policies are divided into four types. Then, four countries -UK, Denmark, Italy and Germany- are extracted as examples of each type in the Lozanoʼs framework, and the policies are surveyed.
Finally, this paper analyzes the current state of the CSR policy in Japan and explores what we learn from the experience in European countries

Moreover clarification is given to the ways the relocated daimyo in the Edo period controlled his territory, got legitimacy for his ruling infiltrated there, and built the foudations of his feudal administration
Budgetary Control (1922）by McKinsey and Budeting Systems of Government
Get PDFapplication/pdfThis paper analyzes the background of creating a budgeting system in the US. Therefore, at first, this paper considers the context of the installation of a new budgeting system in municipal governments in the US at the turn of the last century. A trigger of the installation of the new budgeting system was the progressive movement. This movement installed a new budgeting system based on scientific management, a concept of the standard interpretation of a control of expenditures for the rectification of the extravagant use of public funds. Then, the federal government considered this thought and enacted The Budget and Accounting Act of 1921.The budgeting system based on the law made an impact on Budgetary Control（McKinsey, 1922）. This paper considers a budgeting system by McKinsey, and then compares the budgeting system by McKinsey with the new budgeting system in government. This paper, finally, concludes that because of the progressive movement, scientific management affected the new budgeting system in government and then this system crucially affected the budgeting systems in ordinary companies
A Study of Mure-Gempei Ishiakari-Road
Get PDFapplication/pdf2014 marked the 10th anniversary of the Mure-Gempei Ishiakari-Road. This provided the perfect opportunity to conduct a survey of visitors to the event and do things like: determine general characteristics of the visitors, discover how well known the event is, find out how familiar people are with the art works, gauge the level of satisfaction of the visitors, and ascertain what plans should be made for the future development of the event. The survey yielded the following results: The majority of visitors were in their 30’s and 40’s, and were accompanied by their children. Two-thirds of the people attending were coming for their second time or more. Due to factors such as 95％ of the people saying that they were either “completely satisfied” or “highly satisfied,” it is clear that after 10 years the citizens in the community have established the Ishiakari-Road as a mainstay event. On the other hand, since only 4％ of the visitors were from outside of the prefecture, in order to promote future development, it has been determined that
it will be important to use various media to spread information about the event over a wider area of the country

Get PDFapplication/pdfWe are considered necessary that we would continue to accumulate measured data through the monitoring of heart rate variability in order to clarify that is useful as an objective assessment of the condition of the day-to-day for players and team in our team. Data was collected during about seven months using Hosand HRV system. 10 handball players（20.28 ±1.4 yrs.）in our university participated in the study. For our
handball team, it was attempted to collect the basic data for effective conditioning with heart rate variability.
As a result, it was possible to obtain many indications of the condition of each player. There were individual differences but monitoring autonomic nervous system activities, there were aspects of obtaining the maximum results from loading accurately. And it is possible to guess the condition of players in a competition. In other words, these data may protect players from the risk of overtraining. Get PDFapplication/pdfThe aim of this study was to examine attitude trends of nursery school teacher training course students toward persons with special needs. The authors conducted an online survey about attitudes, frequency of contact and involvement motivation to persons with special needs.
The authors analyzed whether the attitude trends differ depending on frequency of contact and involvement motivation. The result showed that students who are in daily contact with special needs children scored higher score rejective attitudes and confusion about interaction than students with low frequency of contact with special needs children
The Concept of “Sustainable” and Company A Study of Simple Thinking leads to Unsustainable
Get PDFapplication/pdfToday, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which is the successor to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), are attracting attention from companies, society, and members of society. The SDGs are international goals from 2016 to 2030, listed in the “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” adopted at the United Nations Summit in 2015, and include “17 goals.” However, the discussion of, "What does this concept of sustainability mean?” and "What can corporate and social members do for the future?" For example, from an environment-oriented perspective, it is possible to draw the conclusion that environmental protection sacrifices our living standards and the economic activities of businesses.
In this paper, we look at these questions from the perspective of a company: "What kind of action does a company contribute to a sustainable society?" and "What kind of action leads to unsustainable society?" In doing so, the author seeks clues from German economic and
business ethics (Wirtschafts- und Unternehmensethik). As we have shown in previous studies, this approach allows us to consider whether obtaining profits in a harsh economic environment is ethical.
In this paper, first, we will clarify the significance of economic and business ethics. At the same time, we will also point out that it is difficult to achieve a "sustainable society" with commonly discussed economics and legal/institutional approaches. Next, we will examine the concept of "sustainability,” and proceed with the issue of simple thinking that threatens sustainability and the emergence of this simple thinking in companies
Teacher Education Policies Using the Standard of the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) in the United States: With Focus on Developing Leadership Teachers
Get PDFapplication/pdfThe purpose of this study is to clarify the characteristics of teacher development policies using the standard of the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) in the United States. In particular, I focus on the development of leadership in teachers by professional employee organizations. First, in order to clarify why professional employee organization s came to support the NBPTS, I summarize the relationship between the NBPTS and these organizations. Next, I clarify the content of teacher leadership development policies that the NBPTS and the NEA emphasize. In addition, using the Washington Education Association (WEA), one of the NEA state affiliates, I clarify the content of teacher leadership development policies.
The findings from this study are as follows. First, the NBPTS and the professional employee organizations have maintained a good relationship since the foundation of the NBPTS, and are now working together on teacher development policies. Second, the standards and competencies for teacher leadership are formulated by complementing and developing the Five Core Propositions and Standards of the NBPTS. Third, the State of Washington has established a support system for National Board Certified Teachers (NBCTs) and a mechanism to develop teacher leadership skills
