Pediatric Basic Life Support Training for Non-Medical Students who are Studying for an Occupation in Connection with Children
Get PDFapplication/pdfIn this research, training using pediatric basic life support (PBLS) (medical BLS) in pediatric life following the 2015 Japan Resuscitation Council Resuscitation Guidelines was conducted for students aiming to acquire qualifications as nursery school and kindergarten teachers. The grade of resuscitation skills, which can be mastered by one practice session for 56 students (9 males and 47 females), was evaluated by questionnaire. Student confidence in medical BLS was evaluated by a five-level Likert scale. More than 80% of the students had confidence in their cardiopulmonary resuscitation skills, but less than half of them were able to confidently remove a foreign substance in an airway by the abdominal thrusting method. Many students acknowledged the effectiveness of this training, but in order to maintain knowledge and skills of BLS more than two practice sessions will be required in the future
Required Ability Levels of Solfeggio for Elementary School Teachers

In this paper, we would like to do cross sectional and time-series analysis to clarify the nature of this indicator. Cross sectional analysis analyzes the disparities in each prefecture. Each prefecture is classified into six types depending on the nature of disparities. In the time-series analysis, the rate of change in the job openings-to-applicants ratio is broken down into the contribution of the number of active job openings and the contribution of the number of active job seekers. Again, we classify temporal changes into six types depending on their different nature

Making learning in each subject more reliable is required. Students in the elementary school teacher training course need to acquire not only leadership abilities in each subject but also leadership abilities in programming education. Therefore, in this study, we will consider the lesson content that organically links the instruction to foster programming thinking and the subject instruction in mathematics by verbalizing algorithms, and synergistically improving each instruction ability
