Re-formalization of facility location problem for cache fragments on distributed network
Get PDFapplication/pdfIn recent years, P2P network services is considered more worthful on broadband telecommunication environment which is spread widely. For these network services, proper location of data fragments (e.g. cache data) is important for data traffic, failure resilience and security. In this paper, I proposed an extension of k-Median problem. I named the problem as Γ-color collection problem. Here, Γdenotes an index set of a family of sets: each set gives the initial location of each color. I described some conditions for the problem to handle in the scheme of distributed algorithms
When false recalls do not occur: A replication of Brédart (2000) by using an additional procedure with recognition task
Get PDFapplication/pdfBrédart (2000) showed that participants who did not falsely recall a related lure were later likely to produce these items in a post-recall test where asked to recall words that were not presented but that had been identified as related to other words on the list. The purpose of the present study was to extend Brédart's (2000) findings by implementing an additional recognition test. In this test, participants were presented with related lures that they did not report either in the initial recall test or m Brédart's post-recall test. They were then asked to judge whether the related lures presented by the experimenter had actually come to their mind but were forgotten in the post-recall test or these items were never consciously evoked. It was shown that the recognition test after the Brédart post-recall test was useful to effectively detect related lures which were consciously activated during the experiment. The results generally supported Brédart's findings. However, the variability of the lists in activating related lures and in source monitoring was also indicated

Eight-hundred and seventy-nine names of Chirstians in the Takamatsu fieldom and Shodoshima from the first half of the 17th century to the beginning of the 19th century are listed in it.
The reasons for the tabulation of this list and its uses are first described. Then, through an analysis of the contents of the record, the actual lives of Chirstians and their relatives in the Thakamatsu fiefdom are described, and the history of the prohibition of Chirstianity and the formation processes leading to the development of the Shogunate system will be referred to
