Event Data from Production Planning Simulation with Sustainability Considerations
Synthetic event data generated by an AnyLogic simulation for the evaluation of parameterized production planning scenarios with the consideration of both economic and sustainabiliy related KPIs.
The event data file is provided in the standard OCEL 2.0 SQLITE format (https://ocel-standard.org/). It can for example be opened with the following webapp: https://ocelot.pm/.
Additionally, there is a PDF file of a generated visualization included in this publication.
This dataset was produced as a side-product from the "Production Planning for Sustainability" app of CRD-B3.II within the Internet of Production (IoP) research project.

Description And Typification Of Low-Code Use Cases In Manufacturing Companies
As manufacturing companies increasingly embrace digitalization to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, the demand for IT specialists has surged. In response, companies are turning to low-code programming as a solution to alleviate the burden on their IT departments. Through the utilization of low-code tools, domain experts, who may lack IT-specialist credentials yet possess valuable insights and domain-specific knowledge, are empowered to develop applications. However, implementing low-code without proper governance can lead to shadow IT and associated risks, where IT activities operate in the background hidden from official IT management. This paper aims to lay a foundation for elaborating a low-code governance by identifying low-code use cases in manufacturing companies and typifying them.
Three types of low-code use cases for manufacturing companies are identified: "Development by Domain Experts," "Development by Domain Experts and IT Specialists," and "Development by IT Specialists." These types provide a basis for designing effective low-code governance principles, enabling responsible and efficient use of low-code development in the manufacturing sector

Ready4ESG: Nachhaltigkeitsberichterstattung für KMU / Ready4ESG : Sustainability Reporting for SMEs
The 'Ready4ESG' research project, conducted in collaboration between FIR at RWTH Aachen University and the International Performance Research Institute (IPRI), aims to make it easier for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to prepare ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) reports. In view of increasing sustainability requirements and the new EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which provides for a significant extension of the reporting obligation to around 15,000 companies in Germany, the 'Ready4ESG' project is developing a digital platform of the same name to support SMEs in ESG reporting. This platform will enable SMEs to record relevant sustainability data efficiently and to manage the complex requirements of ESG reporting with minimal use of resources. The Ready4ESG platform serves as a central solution to support SMEs in meeting regulatory requirements and the voluntary publication of ESG activities by simplifying and partially automating the preparation of ESG reports. GAIA-X-Reifegradmodell
