Get PDFBased on analysis of the consequences of hurricane in 1552 hit the city of Veracruz and the island of San Juan de Ulua, the author studies the vulnerability of the cities of the Spanish colonies, wondering how to assess the damage and to quantify its effects, and in general, how to study natural disasters from the Social Sciences. In this way, it refers to other natural phenomena such as cyclones and tropical storms, of which there are records in the Spanish cities. The study of the explanations from the religiosity of the people of those times and his insistence on leaving record of all events are analyzed in detail in this paper.Partiendo del análisis de las consecuencias del huracán que en 1552 azotó la ciudad de Veracruz y la isla de San Juan de Ulúa, el autor estudia las condiciones de vulnerabilidad de las ciudades de las colonias españolas, preguntándose cómo evaluar los daños y cuantificar sus efectos, y en general, cómo estudiar los desastres naturales desde las Ciencias Sociales. De este modo, se refiere a otros fenómenos naturales, como los ciclones y tormentas tropicales, de los cuales hay registros en las ciudades españolas. El estudio de las explicaciones a partir de la religiosidad de los pobladores de esos tiempos y su insistencia en dejar registro de todos los sucesos se analizan con detenimiento en este trabajo

Get PDFThis article aims to demonstrate the possibility of a heideggerian ethic beginning with the being-toward-death. To this end, we have divided it in three sections. The first of these attempts to show the relationship that exists between being-in-the-world and ethics, starting from Heidegger’s understanding of this. In the second section, we take an approach to the everydayness of Dasein, indicating some of the implications of this everydayness with clear ethical repercussions. Finally, in the last section, we attempt to show how being-toward-death can come to be considered as a founding ethic.El presente artículo tiene la pretensión de mostrar la posibilidad de una ética en Heidegger a partir del ser-para-la-muerte. Para ello, lo hemos dividido en tres partes. La primera de ellas trata de mostrar el vínculo que existe entre el estar-en-el-mundo y la ética, partiendo de la comprensión que Heidegger tiene de ésta. En el segundo apartado hacemos una aproximación a la cotidianidad del Dasein, señalando algunas implicaciones que esta cotidianidad tiene con claras resonancias éticas. Para finalizar, en el último apartado, tratamos de mostrar cómo el ser-para-la-muerte puede llegar a ser considerado como un fundante ético

In these is defined the holidays of obligatory celebration and days of storage, similarly, it stablish the behavior of the citizens of Santa Marta, with the fulfillment of duties given their condition of catholics, apostolic and romans. In the same way, are reviewed the permanent confrontations of the civil and ecclesiastical authorities for the social and religious life control of the citizens, to the point that, Ecclesiastical Government used as pressure mechanism the excommunication to get imposed.Este artículo está orientado a examinar el papel que las fiestas religiosas llegadas en el calendario festivo ibérico, impuestas desde la conquista y fortalecidas en el siglo XVIII, cumplieron en las tierras americanas, a través de los anuncios que realizaban las autoridades borbónicas por medio de las conocidas Fiestas de Tablas. En ellas se definían las fiestas que eran de obligada celebración y días de guardar. De igual manera, establece el comportamiento de los samarios con el cumplimiento de los deberes dado a su condición de católicos, apostólicos y romanos. Igualmente, se revisan las confrontaciones permanentes de las autoridades civiles y eclesiásticas por el control de la vida social y religiosa de los samarios, al punto, que como mecanismo de presión el Gobierno Eclesiástico utilizaba la excomunión para imponerse
