Los procesos de aprendizaje de los estudiantes desde la perspectiva de los docentes
Get PDFThe purpose of the research consisted of analyzing the learning processes of students from the teachers' perspective; for this purpose, the interpretative paradigm was followed, with a qualitative approach and a phenomenological method. The sample consisted of 16 teachers, divided into 8 professors from a national university in Lima, Peru, and 8 teachers from a public university in Maracaibo, Zulia State, Venezuela. The technique used to collect the information was a semi-structured interview, as an instrument, a flexible interview guide with open questions was used, which consisted of 10 questions and were asked to the participants through the Zoom videoconferencing platform. Subsequently, the information collected was processed using the qualitative analysis program ATLAS.Ti, allowing the categorization of the interviewees' testimonies and the triangulation of the information. The respect and well-being of the participants was guaranteed, obtaining their informed, voluntary and conscious consent prior to the study. The results indicated that the mental processes involved in information processing and learning achievement as expressed by the teachers are attention, perception, metacognition, awareness and regulation. They also pointed out that the learning processes used by students are synthesis, reflection, application, connection of ideas, critical thinking, organization of information, creativity and student autonomy. It was concluded that teachers recognize the ways in which students learn; however, they must adapt their teaching according to their learning styles to meet the individual needs of each student.El propósito de la investigación consistió en analizar los procesos de aprendizaje de los estudiantes desde la perspectiva de los docentes; para ello, se siguió la ruta del paradigma interpretativo, con enfoque cualitativo y método fenomenológico. La muestra fue 16 docentes, divididos en 8 profesores de una universidad nacional en Lima, Perú, y 8 docentes de una institución universitaria pública en Maracaibo, estado Zulia, Venezuela. La técnica utilizada para recopilar la información fue una entrevista semiestructurada, como instrumento, se empleó una guía de entrevista flexible con preguntas abiertas, que constaba de 10 interrogantes y se realizaron a los participantes por medio de la plataforma de videoconferencia Zoom. Posteriormente, la información recopilada se procesó mediante el programa de análisis cualitativo ATLAS.Ti, permitiendo la categorización de los testimonios de los entrevistados y la triangulación de la información. Se garantizó el respeto y bienestar de los participantes, obteniendo su consentimiento informado, voluntario y consciente previo al estudio. Los resultados indicaron que los procesos mentales implicados en el procesamiento de la información y el logro del aprendizaje según lo expresado por los docentes son la atención, percepción, metacognición, conciencia y regulación. Asimismo, señalaron que los procesos de aprendizaje que utilizan los alumnos son la síntesis, reflexión, aplicación, conexión de ideas, pensamiento crítico, organización de la información, creatividad y autonomía del estudiante. Se concluyó que los profesores reconocen las formas en que aprenden los alumnos; sin embargo, deben adaptar su enseñanza en función de sus estilos de aprendizajes para satisfacer las necesidades individuales de cada uno de ellos
Riesgos toxicológicos por la exposición al metacrilato de metilo en trabajadoras de salones de belleza
Get PDFThe purpose of this article was to evaluate the toxicological risks associated with exposure to methyl methacrylate in beauty salon workers in West Panama. For this purpose, an exhaustive review of the scientific literature on this problem was carried out. The studies reviewed showed a high prevalence of methyl methacrylate exposure among salon workers, mainly during the application and removal of acrylic nails. This has been associated with various adverse health effects, such as respiratory irritation, coughing, wheezing, occupational asthma, and contact dermatitis. Occupational exposure levels have often exceeded recommended limits. The authors conclude that it is essential to conduct a study in West Panama to quantify exposure levels, assess respiratory effects in detail, and use biomarkers to inform the development of effective control and prevention strategies in this occupational sector. For the purposes of this article, the research line of public health and prevention, the area of occupational health and the thematic axis is occupational health.El propósito de este artículo fue evaluar los riesgos toxicológicos asociados a la exposición al metacrilato de metilo en trabajadoras de salones de belleza en Panamá Oeste. Para ello, se realizó una revisión exhaustiva de la literatura científica sobre esta problemática. Los estudios revisados mostraron una alta prevalencia de exposición al metacrilato de metilo entre los trabajadores de salones de belleza, principalmente durante la aplicación y remoción de uñas acrílicas. Esto se ha asociado con diversos efectos adversos en la salud, como irritación respiratoria, tos, sibilancias, asma ocupacional y dermatitis de contacto. Los niveles de exposición ocupacional han superado con frecuencia los límites recomendados. Los autores concluyen que es fundamental realizar un estudio en Panamá Oeste para cuantificar los niveles de exposición, evaluar en detalle los efectos respiratorios y utilizar biomarcadores, a fin de informar el desarrollo de estrategias efectivas de control y prevención en este sector laboral. Fast Fashion: del aceleramiento del cambio climático hacia la moda sostenible
Get PDFThe purpose of the study was to analyze the impact of fast fashion on climate change, to understand the practices and dynamics of the fast fashion industry. The objective was based on analyzing the impact of Fast Fashion on the acceleration of climate change towards sustainable fashion in the Colombian textile industry. The methodology used consisted of a quantitative approach with a descriptive non-experimental design, the data collection instrument applied was the survey aimed at people between 18 and 35 years old to understand their consumption habits and their knowledge about fast fashion and sustainable fashion. The study determined that for the majority of respondents the main purchasing motivation is to follow fashion trends and buy from recognized brands, the majority buy clothes every 1 to 3 months and spend on average 550,000, these results provide a vision general consumer habits, whose patterns are influenced by the fast fashion phenomenon.El propósito del estudio estuvo en analizar el impacto del fast fashion en el cambio climático, para comprender las prácticas y dinámicas de la industria de la moda rápida. El objetivo se basó en analizar el impacto del Fast Fashion en el aceleramiento del cambio climático hacia la moda sostenible en la industria textil colombiana. La metodología utilizada consistió en un enfoque cuantitativo con diseño no experimental descriptivo, el instrumento de recolección de datos aplicado fue la encuesta dirigida a personas de 18 a 35 años para comprender sus hábitos de consumo y su conocimiento sobre fast fashion y moda sostenible. El estudio se determinó que para la mayoría de los encuestados la principal motivación de compra es seguir las tendencias de moda y comprar en marcas reconocidas, la mayoría compran ropa cada 1 a 3 meses y gastan en promedio 550.000, estos resultados proporcionan una visión general de los hábitos de consumo, cuyos patrones están influenciados por el fenómeno del fast fashion
Percepción de la población del distrito de Chitré sobre censo único de salud
Get PDFThe study of this article focuses on the importance of the Perception of the population of the District of Chitré on the Single Health Census, its objective is to describe the Perception of the population of the district of Chitré on the Single Health Census and its assessment as a future national project. The methodology was cross-sectional, qualitative and descriptive. A sample of 100 among the five townships of Chitré, people with different ages between 20 and 69 years of age, highlighting their crucial role in the promotion and well-being of people’s health, as the census helps to identify the health needs of the population, allowing better planning of primary care and the prevention of chronic diseases. The Single National Health Census in Panama would be a fundamental tool for making accurate decisions and for investment in future health platforms. The proposal is presented through a Scientific Article within the Semilla Cientifica Magazine, using a descriptive methodology that includes surveys to raise awareness among community authorities about the needs to implement a single Health Census at the National Level, deducing that with the description of Perception of the district of Chitré we have agreed that the respondents as a whole express the need for Panama to carry out a Single Health Census project, which will define many health situations such as budget, chronic or hereditary diseases within families, among other relevant and determining aspects.El estudio de este artículo se centra en la en la importancia de la Percepción de la población del Distrito de Chitré sobre el Censo Único de Salud, tiene como objetivo describir la Percepción de la población del distrito de Chitré sobre el Censo Único de Salud y su valoración como futuro proyecto nacional. La metodología fue de corte transversal, cualitativa y descriptiva. Una muestra de 100 entre los cinco corregimientos de Chitré, personas con diferentes edades entre 20 y 69 años de edad, destacando su papel crucial en la promoción y bienestar de la salud de las personas, como el censo ayuda a identificar las necesidades de salud de la población, permitiendo una mejor planificación de la atención primaria y la prevención de enfermedades crónicas. El Censo Único de Salud Nacional en Panamá sería una herramienta fundamental para tomar decisiones precisas y para la inversión en futuras plataformas de salud. La propuesta se presenta a través de un Artículo Científico dentro de la Revista Semilla Científica, utilizando una metodología descriptiva que incluye encuetas para sensibilizar a las autoridades comunitarias sobre las necesidades de implementar un Censo único de Salud a Nivel Nacional, deduciendo que con la descripción de la Percepción del distrito de Chitré hemos consensuado que los encuestados en su totalidad expresan la necesidad de que Panamá lleve a cabo un proyecto de Censo Único de Salud, mismo que definirá muchas situaciones en salud como presupuesto, enfermedades crónicas o hereditarias dentro de las familias, entre otros aspectos relevantes y determinantes
Filosofía de la ciencia e investigación cualitativa: Un análisis desde las raíces del entendimiento profundo
Get PDFThe objective of this article is to reveal the connection between the philosophy of science and qualitative research, from a deep bibliographical review that starts from its history and foundations to the conceptions and contributions of current theorists. The methodological treatment was based on the hermeneutics, based on the documentary review, starting from the sources survey and the reflexive production of the author. With respect to the results, it was possible to recognize that the relationship between qualitative research and philosophy of science is complex but essential to understand the nature and purpose of research in the social sciences. Furthermore, it was revealed that, while qualitative research immerses itself in the deep understanding of social phenomena, philosophy of science provides the theoretical framework for evaluating the validity and nature of the knowledge generated. With respect to the acceptance of subjectivity and interpretation in qualitative research, it was found that it is aligned with constructivist and hermeneutic perspectives in the philosophy of science. It can be concluded that the relationship between qualitative research and philosophy of science is dynamic, marked by a complex interaction between the search for deep understanding and the need for scientific rigor. It is important to highlight as a product of this dissertation that both disciplines benefit each other, challenging and enriching the way in which research in the social sciences is conceived, executed and evaluated.El presente artículo tiene como objetivo develar la conexión entre la filosofía de la ciencia y la investigación cualitativa, desde una revisión bibliográfica profunda que, parte desde su historia y fundamentos hasta las concepciones y aportes de teóricos actuales. El tratamiento metodológico se fundamentó desde la hermenéutica afianzada en la revisión documental, partiendo desde el arqueo de fuentes y la producción reflexiva del autor. Con respecto a los resultados, se pudo reconocer que la relación entre la investigación cualitativa y la filosofía de la ciencia es compleja pero esencial para comprender la naturaleza y el propósito de la investigación en las ciencias sociales. Además, se logró develar que, mientras que la investigación cualitativa se sumerge en la comprensión profunda de fenómenos sociales, la filosofía de la ciencia proporciona el marco teórico para evaluar la validez y la naturaleza del conocimiento generado. Con respecto a la aceptación de la subjetividad y la interpretación en la investigación cualitativa, se pudo constatar que se alinea con perspectivas constructivistas y hermenéuticas en la filosofía de la ciencia. Se puede concluir que, la relación entre la investigación cualitativa y la filosofía de la ciencia es dinámica, marcada por una interacción compleja entre la búsqueda de comprensión profunda y la necesidad de rigor científico. Se hace importante resaltar como producto de esta disertación que, ambas disciplinas se benefician mutuamente, desafiando y enriqueciendo la manera en que se concibe, se ejecuta y evalúa la investigación en las ciencias sociales
