研究活動における不正行為への対応等に関するガイドライン

『秀明大学紀要』投稿規定
『秀明大学紀要』は、学内者、兼任講師のほか外部からの自由投稿を認める。
投稿された論文は、レフェリー制度を通じて選定のうえ編集される。審査については、編集委員会によって
指名された審査委員（2名）の審査報告に基づいて、編集委員会が掲載の可否を審議し、その結果を踏ま
えて学長が決定する。審査結果は、原則として2ヶ月以内に知らせる。
査読による評価はA、B、Cとし、掲載基準は原則として以下とする。
　AA：掲載可
　AB、AC、BB、BC：一部修正を条件として、掲載可
　CC：掲載不可
［形　　　式］
1. 用語は日本語、英語のいずれかを用いる。ただし、それ以外の言語あるいは特殊な文字および記号の
使用は編集委員会に相談のこと。邦文の場合には原則として当用漢字、現代かな遣いを用いること。
2. 論文等のジャンルおよび上限枚数は、以下のように区分する。手書きは認めず、A4紙を縦に使い、横
書きを原則とする。その他、参考文献の引用や注の表記方法は、前年度の『秀明大学紀要』を参考に
すること。
1）日本語論文
「論説」は16,000－20,000字以内、その他、教育実践報告、研究ノート、書評、学界動向、学界
展望、特殊文献資料の紹介等は8,000－12,000字以内を原則とする。本文について、フォントの大
きさは10.5－11.0、「MS明朝」を原則とする。
2）英語論文
ダブルスペースで「論説」は6,200－7,700ワード以内、その他原稿は3,000－4,600ワード以内を
原則とする。本文について、フォントの大きさは10.5－11.0、「Times New Roman」を原則とする。
3. 自然科学系は、投稿規定よりも短くても論説として認める場合がある。本紀要の投稿規定よりも短い論
文を論説として投稿する場合は、その旨を明記した上で、投稿の際に、当該分野の学会誌の投稿規定
に関する資料についても合わせて提出すること。
※字数制限はいずれも本文、注、参考文献、図表・写真・統計表等（別途作成）、改行に伴う余白を含む（写
真・統計表・図表等は『秀明大学紀要』の1頁にあたる大きさを1,600字と換算する)。
［制　　　限］
本紀要に投稿できる論文数は1年に1本までとする（共著も含む）。他の刊行物への二重投稿は認めない。
［そ　の　他］
1. 『秀明大学紀要』に掲載された論考の著作権は秀明大学に帰属する。
2. 原稿料の支払いは行わない。
［投稿手続き］
1. オリジナル原稿1部とコピー原稿2部、計3部を提出すること。表紙には本文の字数・行数・頁数を明
記のうえ（例：40字×40行、12頁、計19,200字）、氏名・所属・連絡先（メールアドレス）を記載
すること。
2. 原則として、投稿締め切りは9月末日とし、刊行は3月末日とする。
3. 原稿は下記の投稿先に投稿すること。学外の者は切手を貼った返信用封筒を添付して下記の原稿先に
投稿すること。

Shumei Journal Manuscript Submission Guidelines 
Shumei Journal accepts submissions from Shumei educational group affiliated staff as well as from 
contributors not affiliated with the Shumei educational group.  
Each manuscript is subject to a peer review. Two referees, appointed by the editorial board, examine 
submissions and complete evaluation reports. The editorial board then makes a decision based on the 
evaluation reports. Usually, contributors to Shumei Journal will be informed of the evaluation result within two 
months of submission. 
As a general rule, submissions will be graded from A to C by each referee resulting in the following: 
        AA: Accepted for publication*
        AB, AC, BB, BC: Accepted for publications once certain conditions or necessary revisions are met *
        CC: Rejected for publication
* Please note that the chancellor of Shumei University has final approval as to whether a manuscript will be 
published.
Format: 
All submissions must be word-processed using Times New Roman style with a font size of 10.5-11.0. 
Handwritten contributions are not accepted. Research papers should be within 6,200 to 7,700 words, and 
manuscripts other than research papers 3,000 to 4,600 words in length. The word limit includes all tables, 
figures, notes, illustrations, appendices and references. A word and page count should be included.
 For submissions within the field of natural science, the overall word count may be less than in the format 
guidelines outlined above provided Shumei Journal is informed in advance and the paper follows submission 
guidelines of an academic journal in the relevant natural science field. 
Shumei Journal accepts papers written in either English or Japanese. Please consult the editorial board for 
contributions in other languages. 
All papers should be fully referenced using APA 6.
Restrictions: 
Manuscripts containing material that substantially overlaps with any other existing or scheduled publications 
will not be accepted. 
Other: 
All papers published will remain under Shumei Journal copyright.
There will be no payment for accepted manuscripts.
No fees apply to submissions.
Submission procedure: 
Submissions should include in triplicate:
●　a cover page with the title, author’ s name and affiliation, 
●　an abstract (150 words) 
●　the manuscript
The deadline for manuscript inclusion in the annual March publication of the Shumei Journal is September 
31st of the preceding year.

　本学の紀要は、一冊に多様な領域の論考が含まれる点が特色です。
これは規模の大きくない本学が時を経るに連れ、内部の多様性を順調
に育み、各学部の内外で互いの境界を自然とまたぐ人的な交流を生ん
できた証でもあります。
　紀要の作成の過程においても代を重ねる中で、担当者達は常に改良
を試み、そうして定まってきた仕組みの中で一定の質をクリアする論考
が多く投稿されるに至ったことは間違いありません。それを踏まえて我々
がここに記すべきことは、これからも本学の紀要に投稿される論考に各
専門分野における質を求めつつ、出来上がった紀要が幅広く分野を超
えた研究交流のきっかけとなる期待も込めたいということです。
　ここには反省の気持ちもあります。投稿者・査読者各位とわれわれ編
集委員会が、分野による差異をどこまで現実的に把握し、共通の価値
を見出すべきか。そしてその違いをいかに己の領域の糧とするか。これ
からはこの点に向けて本学紀要のスタンダードをより整備し、焦らずた
ゆまず試み続けること、それが課題ではないかと考えるに至りました。
　懇切に査読をしてくださった先生方と、その査読に誠意を以って応え
た投稿者の先生方に深く感謝いたします。皆様のご尽力でここに完成し
た論文集が、本学の研究・教育に一つの指針を示していると思います。

　本学の紀要は、一冊に多様な領域の論考が含まれる点が特色です。
これは規模の大きくない本学が時を経るに連れ、内部の多様性を順調
に育み、各学部の内外で互いの境界を自然とまたぐ人的な交流を生ん
できた証でもあります。
　紀要の作成の過程においても代を重ねる中で、担当者達は常に改良
を試み、そうして定まってきた仕組みの中で一定の質をクリアする論考
が多く投稿されるに至ったことは間違いありません。それを踏まえて我々
がここに記すべきことは、これからも本学の紀要に投稿される論考に各
専門分野における質を求めつつ、出来上がった紀要が幅広く分野を超
えた研究交流のきっかけとなる期待も込めたいということです。
　ここには反省の気持ちもあります。投稿者・査読者各位とわれわれ編
集委員会が、分野による差異をどこまで現実的に把握し、共通の価値
を見出すべきか。そしてその違いをいかに己の領域の糧とするか。これ
からはこの点に向けて本学紀要のスタンダードをより整備し、焦らずた
ゆまず試み続けること、それが課題ではないかと考えるに至りました。
　懇切に査読をしてくださった先生方と、その査読に誠意を以って応え
た投稿者の先生方に深く感謝いたします。皆様のご尽力でここに完成し
た論文集が、本学の研究・教育に一つの指針を示していると思います。
今後ともよろしくお願いいたします。
