奄美大島瀬戸内町･古仁屋における学生調査と授業実践－ワークショップ型授業古仁屋たんけん隊－

Kagoshima. The class was a workshop-type and it was based on the students' field study of Amami-Oshima. ポルトガル語の視聴覚教材の作成について
No full text1998年から名桜大学で第２外国語としてポルトガル語が開講されて以来､毎年平均して約80名程度の履修者が受講している｡このニーズに対応すべき教材として､本土ではポルトガル語の文法書が挙げられるが､その視聴覚教材に至ってはほとんど数えるほどしか存在しない｡そこで､沖縄におけるこうしたポルトガル語の視聴覚教材不足に対応するため､名桜大学のポルトガル語カリキュラムの中でポルトガル語1の初学者を対象に､日本人が特に発音しにくい単語の発音表とポルトガル語の発音テープをブラジルのロンドリーナ州立総合大学の教育技術センターと共同で作製した｡Since the lecture of Portuguese was opened as the second foreign language at Meio University in 1998, approximately 80 students in average have been enrolled each year. Although there has been a growing need for the teaching material, only one or two Portuguese grammar books can be counted even in the main land Japan. Furthermore when it comes to audiovisual teaching materials, practically none exists. To save the lack of the Portuguese audiovisual teaching materials in Okinawa, the phonetic chart and the tapes for the pronunciation drill for the words specifically difficult for Japanese to pronounce were created in behalf of the beginner students of Portuguese 1 of Meio University, together with the joint work of the Educational Technical Center of Londrina State University of Brazil.departmental bulletin pape
シーカヤックによるまちづくりに関する調査報告
No full text近年,スポーツをまちづくりに活用している事例が数多く存在する｡また,豊かな自然環境を活かしたエコツーリズムの浸透により,その実践形態であるエコツアーにアウトドアスポーツが盛んに活用されるようになってきた｡そこで,本研究では,海という自然資源をフィールドに行われるシーカヤックを活用したまちづくりについて検討を加えた｡その結果,エコツーリズムがまちづくりのひとつの手法であることをふまえた上で,環境への配慮と十分な安全管理を行うことにより,まちづくりとして活用可能であると考えられた｡その効果として,地域住民による地域の再認識,メンタルマネジメント,コミュニケーションスキルの獲得など,得られる効果は多岐にわたるものと思われる｡Recently, there are many projects making use of sports for community improvement. Furthermore, outdoor sports have become more popular due to the spread of ecotourism which makes use of the natural environment. The aim of this report was to examine community improvement by use of the sea kayak. From the point of view that ecotourism is a means for community improvement, the use of sea kayaks can benefit such efforts, being safe to handle and environmentally friendly. The effects which can be achieved are many. These may include rediscovery of the area by local residents, mental management, and the acquisition of communication skills.departmental bulletin pape
沖縄県北部地区における遠隔看護支援システムの開発と実践的研究－ICT出前公開講座による人材育成と「健康いへや21」策定の中からコンテンツを探る－
No full text本研究は，平成19年度総合研究所一般研究「北部地区における遠隔看護支援システムに関する研究」に続く研究である。学外システムを利用した実験研究から，学内システム（遠隔会議システム）の導入へと大学独自の整備を行った。しかし，これらのシステムを活用できる人材育成と実践的教育が必要であることが示唆された。そこで，沖縄県北部地区離島・へき地に勤務する看護職者を中心とした保健医療福祉の関係者を対象にICT出前公開講座を実施した。さらに参加した保健医療福祉関係者とともに健康課題等について話し合い，課題解決に向けた看護実践を補完する遠隔支援の検討を行った。また行政ニーズとしての「健康いへや21」策定を行った結果，4つの基本目標とコンテンツが示唆された。To expand and build upon our use of web-based audio-video telecommunication to support remote nursing education in the field in isolated areas and islands in the northern region of Okinawa's main island, we found that remote-site users needed to become more skilled and comfortable in using the system. With a grant from Meio University Research Institute, we provided four hands-on training seminars in 2008 for health professionals in northern Okinawa's remote areas and islands. With on-site and remote support from our nurslng faculty members and IT specialists durlng the seminars, participants gained skills in using the system and became more comfortable and confident users. Subsequently, they and other remote-site health workers and community members participated with us in videoconference sessions during which we considered how the system could be used to conceptualize, develop and implement nursing practices and community activities to reduce some high priority health problems in those remote areas. The result was a proposed plan called "Healthy Iheya 21". Developed in keeping with national and prefectural initiatives to promote and improve community health, the plan has four themes: "Healthy lifestyles begin in childhood", "Preventing lifestyle related diseases in working-age people", "Active lives for the elderly on remote islands", and "Appropriate health services for all generations". We believe that the participatory approach to developing the proposed plans, with support from nursing faculty through webbased videoconferencing, has increased community ownership and understanding and therefore the likelihood of successful and sustainable implementation of the plans.departmental bulletin pape
観光関連大学におけるWebホスピタリティ情報の可視化・探索分析
No full text本論文は，全国の観光・ホスピタリティ関連の学部や学科，コースを学べる74大学のWebサイトを対象に，ユーザビリテイ（Usability）の観点から，大学別や項目別にWeb上の特徴を細分化しヒヤリング調査や内容分析を通して考察したものである。まず，ホスピタリティ情報（Hospitality Information）のカテゴリー構造に基づいて変数を抽出する。次に，分析の方法論として自己組織化マップ（Self Organizing Map）を用い大学別分類マップにより情報内容をクラスタリングする。最後に，大学におけるWebサイト構築の役割や課題，Web戦略指標の在り方と対策に関して考察する。The purpose of this study is to analyze the web site usability of 74 universities with tourism and hospitality-related departments, subjects or courses, using hearings and content analysis. Study 1 extracts variables based on the category structure of the hospitality information. Study 2 performs a cluster analysis of the universities, using self-organizing maps. 経営戦略におけるLanchesterの二乗法則の分析
No full text販売競争などの競合する二つの経営体に対し､変数係数の連立微分方程式により経営戦略の時間的な強度変化をモデル化して､ランチェスターの二乗法則を議論し､二乗法則が修正された形式で成立することを示した｡変数係数の連立微分方程式に対する厳密解の表現のなかに､経常戦略の時間的強度変化を表現する関数が一般的な形で入っており､それらの関数の操作により二つの経営体の競合状態が詳細に表されている｡人員補給や販売教育､経営計画や分業などの販売員の増減などによる経営戦略は､相手側経営体との相互作用を考慮して最適な操作をする時において､販売力の増加を助ける要因となりえることが示されており､コンピュータ･シミュレーションなどによる解析をとおして､最適過程制御など､オペレーションズ･リサーチへの応用に役立てることができるものと思われる｡Modelizing two competing managerial enterprises by a system of variable coefficient differential equations, and taking time-varying strategic management into consideration, Lanchester's law is rediscussed and modified in this paper. The general solution of the diffrential equation includes functions to control strategic management, and considering interaction with the opponent managerial strategy by manipulating the functions, the optimal control of strategic management can be performed in terms of a personel supply and reduction, for example, a division of work, a business-planning, and so forth. The expression of the rigorous solution of two interacting managerial enterprises will be useful for the analysis of the computer simulations in operations research and optimal control of management.departmental bulletin pape

The Significance of Mononoke: Problems in Interpreting Uncanny Phenomena in Classical Literary Texts
No full textJapanese classical texts, especially The Tale of Genji contain rich narratives describing mononoke, possession by evil spirits. Scholars have interpreted mononoke phenomena in various ways, and this paper focuses on two critical approaches. One emphasizes the cultural perspective or "world view" of ancient Japanese. The other applies "universal" theoretical frameworks to interpret these phenomena. Although both approaches recognize mononoke as crucial to understanding Japanese classical texts, they pose different questions in their analyses.日本の古典文学作品､特に『源氏物語』において、モノノケ(物怪)に関する描写は多く､様々な現象が語り手や登場人物の視点を通して語られる｡物怪の諸現象は多数の論者によって多様に解釈されているが､本稿では主として二つの解釈的傾向に着目した｡第一は､現象描写の背景となる生死や心身等に関わる世界観の特殊性を強調し､第二は､ある｢普遍的｣理論の枠組みをこの現象の解釈に適用するものである｡両者とも物怪が日本古典文学作品の総体において重要な一要素であるとする点では共通するが､個別の問題点を有するものと思われる｡departmental bulletin pape
現代青年の価値の比較研究－Rokeach の価値尺度の分析と応用－
No full text本研究は､Rokeaeh価値尺度を用いて､(1)大学生の価値の序列構造を比較考察し､(2)同尺度の因子構造を明らかにし､(3)同尺度の応用可能性を探ることを目的とする｡(1)については､名桜大学生の価値観の比較検討が行われた｡目的価値として｢幸福｣｢真の友情｣｢家族の保護｣が上位を占めるなど､人生の目的が小市民化した印象を与えているが､｢自由｣や｢平和な世界｣が上位に位置するなど､普遍的価値が重視されている側面もまた判然としている｡道具的または手段的価値については､何が重視されているかよりも､何が軽視されているかに､強く訴えかけるものがみられる｡特に｢論理的な｣や｢有能な｣など重要な適応能力的価値が最下位に位置づけられている事実は､教育文化の問題としても見逃せない｡(2)についての本研究の結果は､Rokeach尺度の潜在的構造が､Rokeach自身が構想した理論的構造と一致することを裏付けるものであった｡(3)Rokeach尺度は､実施時の教示をいろいろ工夫することにより､多様な応用の可能性があることが示唆された｡The purpose of the present study is three-fold: (1) to determine the ordinal structure of the values of college students, using Rokeach's value scale, (2) to examine the factor structure of Rokeach's value scale, and (3) to explore potential applications of Rokeach's value scale. Two-hundred and ninety-four college students were tested, and the main findings were as follows: (1) Students tended to stress personally relevant, rather than socially relevant, values as terminal values, but at the same time, they valued highly such universal goal values as "freedom" and "a world at peace". The students tended to evaluate positively personality traits such as "loving" and "broad-minded" which are conducive to the realization of personally relevant goal values. The most poignant characteristic of the students' instrumental values, however, was that they regarded competence values such as "logical" and "capable" as least important. (2) Rokeach conceived of his scale as consisting of two parts, terminal and instrumental values, the former having two sub-parts, personal and social values, with the latter also having two sub-parts, moral and competence values. Factor analysis based on our limited sample lends substantial empirical support to his theoretical model, showing that the four independent factors extracted closely correspond to Rokeach's four theoretical sub-parts, and that moral values are negatively correlated with competence values, and also that personal values are negatively correlated with social values. There was no significant positive correlation, as expected by Rokeach, between social values and competence values, nor between personal values and moral values. (3) Rokeach's value scale is a useful and viable tool for both research and diagnostic purposes. It is proposed that the scale be used for a wider range of purposes by treating the instructions under which the scale is administered as the independent variable to be manipulated in a study.departmental bulletin pape
