A Study on the Establishment of “Nippon Shimbun”,a Japanese-language Newspaper in Brazil and its Early Management Structure
No full text本研究は、ブラジル日本移民史の研究資料としての邦字新聞の重要性に注目し、第二次世界大戦前のブラジルにて発行された『日本新聞』の概要を確認するとともに、その初期における、新聞の論調に大きな影響を与えた運営体制について検討することを目的とする。従来のブラジル日本移民史において、『日本新聞』は戦前三大邦字新聞に次ぐ発行部数を持ちながら、三大紙の陰に隠れてこれまでその資料としての特徴は十分に検討がなされず、また研究資料としても僅かにしか参照されて来なかった。本研究では『日本新聞』に関するブラジル日本移民史の主要情報源内の記述を比較検討することで、従来知られていたその概要の共通点と矛盾点を指摘する。さらに創刊前夜から創刊初期に関する同時代の邦字新聞各紙の記事を読み解くことで、『日本新聞』の概要を検証するとともに、従来の認識とは異なる、『日本新聞』の初期運営体制を明らかにする。This study focuses on the importance of Japanese-language newspapers as research materials for the history of Japanese immigration to Brazil, and aims to identify the outline of the "Nippon Shimbun" published in Brazil before WWII, as well as to examine its early management structure that had a significant impact on the tone of the newspaper. In the conventional history of Japanese immigration to Brazil, the "Nippon Shimbun" had the next
largest circulation after the three major Japanese-language newspapers, but it has been hidden in the shadows of the three major newspapers until now, and its characteristics as a source material have not been fully examined, nor has it been referenced as a research material in any way. This study compares and contrasts the descriptions of the "Nippon Shimbun" in major sources on the history of Japanese immigration to Brazil, and points out the commonalities and contradictions among its outline that were previously known. Furthermore, by reading articles in Japanese-language newspapers of the same period on the eve of and during the early years of its publication, this study will examine the outline of the“ Nippon Shimbun” and clarify its early management system, which differs from the conventional understanding.departmental bulletin pape
Distribution of mile-a-minute weed,Mikania micrantha,in the northern part of Okinawa Island, from Onna Village/Kin Town to Nago City/Motobu Peninsula,during 2020 to 2021.
No full textツルヒヨドリMikania micranthaは、熱帯のアメリカ大陸原産のキク科植物である。世界で最も悪影響のある草本の一つとされ、日本では特定外来生物に指定されている。日本で最初に分布が確認されたのは、1984年に沖縄島中部地域に位置するうるま市の天願川河口付近である。沖縄島では、中部地域を中心として南部地域や北部地域へ分布を拡大しているとされるが、分布に関する詳細で網羅的な調査データは不十分であり、自然生態系や農業等の被害の状況も十分に把握されていない。本研究では、自然生態系として比較的優れている沖縄島北部地域（恩納村・金武町以北及び名護市・本部半島以南）の６自治体でのツルヒヨドリの分布状況を明らかにし、分布の特徴及び分布拡大の要因について検討をした。６自治体全体で、1,724件のツルヒヨドリの分布ポイントが確認できた。分布状況は、西海岸の恩納村から名護市西海岸及び本部町が東海岸（金武町から名護市東海岸）よりも分布域が広く、分布ポイント数も多かった。また、分布の特徴として散在的な分布ではなく、特定の地区に集中的に分布していた。分布場所は、集落周辺や農用地、林縁、幹線沿い等の人の活動範囲が主であった。分布要因は農業等で栄養体を含む土壌の移動や綿毛種子の人等への付着による人為的な要因と多量の綿毛種子の飛散による自然分散の両方が考えられる。Mile-a-minute weed, Mikania micrantha, the family Asteraceae, is native to tropical America. It is considered one of the world‘s worsts herbs, and designated as Invasive Alien Species in Japan. The first distribution of the species in Japan was at the estuary of Tengan River, Uruma City, in the middle part of Okinawa Island, in 1984. The distribution in Okinawa Island is concentrated in the middle part of the island and has been expanding to both south and north. Due to insufficient details of its distribution, consequently, damage to the natural ecosystems and farms are not yet well documented. In this research, the distribution of the species in the northern part of Okinawa Island, Onna Village/Kin Town to the Nago City/Motobu peninsula, was revealed in order to consider distribution characteristics and the factors of expansion of the species. 1,724 distribution points were confirmed in the areas. Wider distribution and more points were in the west coast than the east coast. It was found that the distribution was concentrated in some certain areas.The concentrated areas were around communities, farm lands, edge of forests, and road sides, where mainly affected by human activities. It was considered that the factors of distribution were human cause, such as soil transference containing trophozoite for farming and papupus bearing seed attachment to human, and abundant pappus seed scattering as natural dispersal.departmental bulletin pape
