名桜大学構内で見られる植物の花ごよみ
No full text名桜大学内の花ごよみを作成するため, キャンパス内に見られる55種類の植物を選定し,2004年2月から2005年1月までの1年間, 毎週開花状況を記録した｡55種中,9種は観察期間内に開花が全く確認できなかった｡これは剪定等人為的な要因によると考えられるものもあるが,植物個体の成熟度や生育環境の状態が最適ではなかったため開花しなかったことも考えられる｡開花の見られた46種について花ごよみを作成した｡開花時期と期間は,植物によってそれぞれ異なり,通年開花の見られる種がある一方,短い期間に花を咲かせる種もあった｡種数でみた開花のピーク時期(17種以上が開花していた週)は,2月下旬－3月,4月下旬,5月下旬および12月下旬の4回あり,開花種数の最も少ない月は9月(8種)であった｡departmental bulletin pape
セーリングスポーツにおけるコミュニケーション・スキル評価尺度の作成と信頼性・妥当性の検討－セーリング経験による影響に着目して－
No full text本研究ではセーリングスポーツの実施によって生じるコミュニケーション・スキルを評価する尺度を作成することを目的とした。予備調査によって得られた項目をもとに15歳から45歳の156名のセーラーを対象にアンケート調査を実施した。因子分析により22項目からなる「他者理解」「関係構築」「自己主張」「自己表現」「他者共感」「相互協力」の6つの因子を抽出した。信頼性、妥当性の検討を行った結果、信頼性は確認され、乗員数との観点から、ある程度の妥当性が得られた。乗員数と「他者理解」｢自己主張」「他者共感｣、セーリング経験年数と「自己主張」「相互協力」因子には有意な差が見られ、セーリングスポーツにおけるコミュニケーション・スキルの特徴が示された。次にセーリング経験に着目し、一過性のセーリング体験がコミュニケーション・スキルに及ぼす影響を検討した。「関係構築」「相互協力」の2因子について有意な差が認められ、セーリング経験量によってコミュニケーション・スキルの獲得状況が異なることが明らかになった。The purpose of this study was to develop a scale to evaluate the communication skill used while engaged in a sailing sport (ECSS), and to test the reliability and the validity of the inventory of such a scale. 156 sailors completed a questionnaire, comprised of 22 items selected from a preliminary study. The result of the exploratory factor analysis revealed that the scale had 6 sub-scales (understanding others, constructing relationship, self-assertion, self-expression, sympathy, and mutual cooperation). Some indices indicated that the scale fit the data, and its sub-scale and total scale scores were found to be reliable and moderately valid. The results of the t-test showed significant differences between the number of crew members and "understanding others", "self-assertion", and "sympathy" respectively, and between the sailing experience and "self-assertion", and also "mutual cooperation". The effect of a transient sailing experience on "constructing relationship" and "mutual coo peration" was significant, and changes in the communication skill score were observed.departmental bulletin pape
沖縄県北部地区における遠隔看護支援システムに関する研究－遠隔看護支援システムの開発と看護教育・実践への応用－
No full text名桜大学は、離島・へき地を有する沖縄本島北部地域に位置している。沖縄県全面積の約37％に県人口の9.3％が北部地域に居住し、広大な面積に集落が散在している。高齢化率も高く診療所を中心とした医療体制の課題や研修会や、講演会などの参加が難しいなど教育効果上の課題も大きい。看護職者の生涯教育、学生の教育実習、市民の公開講座などにおいて、地理的課題を克服できる簡便な方法としてインターネット等を活用した遠隔看護支援システムを開発する必要がある。そこで、本研究では東京医科歯科大学との共同研究の中で、保健医療福祉における遠隔看護の位置づけを明らかにし、遠隔教育への応用を試みた結果、看護実習カンファレンス、看護実習報告会などで大学と実習施設間で双方向コミュニケーションが成立し、画像・音声ともに明瞭で対面式会議と同じ要領で実施できた。IT環境がよい地域では、離島であっても遠隔看護支援システムは使用可能であった。The northern part of Okinawa's main island, where Meio University is located,includes approximately 37 percent of Okinawa Prefecture's land area and 9.3 percent of the population, including a high proportion of elderly persons. Some areas and villages of the island are relatively isolated, as are some of the islands in the surrounding sea. Health services are provided from health clinics throughout the area, and health personnel working in them face difficulties in participating in continuing professional education. The university, working with telecommunications providers and Tokyo Medical and Dental University, used a web-based telecommunication system in developing support for the practicum programs for nursing students and life-long education programs and progress reporting for nurses. After testing the system and training local personnel in its use, we applied the system in remote education for nursing students and found it particularly effective when linked with conferences at practicum training sites. The system's very clear two-way audio and visual communications were very effective for presentations by the nursing students, and also for presentations by nurses in the field participating in continuing nursing education,progress reporting, and research.departmental bulletin pape

No full text情報の高速搬送路の普及に伴い､｢もの作りのスピードアップ｣と｢ホワイトカラーの生産性向上｣が可能になることが主張されている｡しかしながらその前程となるのは､従業員の個々の経営活動の状況が把握され､適切に対処できることが必要である｡最近の組織フラット化の傾向の中では､特に利益目標､顧客満足への貢献などという経営者的視点も加えて､判断を下せることが要求される｡このような観点から､経営活動情報､あるいは金額換算したものということでは経営活動会計情報の管理が重要になってくることを指摘したい｡As the high speed Information Highway has been propagated, it is expected that "the speed-up of production of goods" and "the productivity of the White Collar" will be accelerated. But in order to make that expectation material, each corporate employee's activity should be grasped and processed properly. In the light of the recent trend of decreasing layers of management, in particular, the employee's ability to make a judgement by paying attention to the management views such as profit objectives and customer satisfaction will become imperative. No full text中世に関する研究は魅力に満ちている｡その学問的成果は､中世と現代の接点を様々な視点で示し､両者の係わり方の本質を明らかにしてその豊かな恩恵に浴している現代の真の姿を浮かび上がらせる｡けだし現代は､中世の文化遺産を享受している我が身の実像を顧みず､時として事実誤認に基づく優越感を中世に対してひけからす｡この種の誤りは中世の封建制度を正しく認識したか否かに多々起因する｡ヨーロッパの場合､北と南では封建制度に格段の差異がみられる｡本稿では､北と南の差異を踏まえ､同時代にゆるやかな封建制度に彩られたイベリア半島のキリスト教世界とイスラム世界を概観し､そこで展開された知性の創造的営みについて考える｡Studies conducted on various aspects of medievalism show that we owe much to what was once accomplished in medieval times. and yet. unfortunately, we sometimes show our contemptuous and arrogant attitude toward elements deriving from the Middle Ages. This typically depreciative judgement of the outstanding cultural heritages once created by medieval people reflects the influence of an education that has placed excessive emphasis on the medieval mentality which played a decisive role in the creation of a rigid feudal system in northern Europe. Given this view, the paper examines the vital role played by Al-Andalus whose accumulated knowledge and skills of various kinds brought from the Middle East were much sought to revitalize certain regions of Europe that remained inactive in intellectual creative activities in the Middle Ages.departmental bulletin pape
Retrieval of Sub-pixel Linear Detail from Image Sequences
No full textThis paper considers the improvement of the resolution of images containing sub-pixel detail, whether they are from home videos or satellite-based photography, by processing the information available from a number of consecutive images. To model this situation, a series of scanned images progressively displaced by a fraction of a pixel are compared, and the evolution of individual pixel values analysed. First the response of the scanner is tested for linearity. We then consider the theory of retrieving the position, width and colour of monochrome linear objects narrower than a single pixel. It is shown that theoretically as few as three images suffice to determine these three data for a sub-pixel width horizontal object, subject to certain conditions. The theory is applied to an example from the field of optical character recognition.人工衛星で写った写真から家庭ビデオの映像までの幅広い対象の連続した画像を分析して、解像度を上げることがこの論文のテーマである。映像をモデル化するために対象の映像を1ピクセル幅より短い微小単位で動かしながら、連続イメージをスキャナで取り組む。ピクセルの値の変化を測定し、分析する。スキャナの線形特性を調べ、単色の、ピクセル幅より小さい、線形物体の正確な位置、幅と色を連続映像から導き出す理論を考えた。この物体を決める要素(位置、幅、色)は条件により理論上3コマのフレームだけで決定することができる。印刷文字を例にとり、測定データをもとに理論と実験の比較検討を行ったのでご報告する。departmental bulletin pape
AAA報告書における実現概念の展開
No full text近年、デリバティブに代表される多様で複雑化した取引および事象の増大によって、「原価・実現アプローチ｣を基軸とする現行の会計理論の限界が露呈している。このような状況の中で、各国の会計基準設定機関によって拡大された実現概念が提唱されている。実現概念を拡大した最初の公式文書としては、アメリカ会計学会(American Accounting Association;AAA)が1957年に公表した『株式会社財務諸表の会計および報告諸基準』がある。本稿は､1957年以降のAAAの2つの報告書を手掛かりにして、多様化・複雑化する会計環境を背景に、実現概念がどのように展開されているかを明らかにしようとするものである。Various complicated transactions and events such as the development of the derivative instrument betray the limitations of the historical cost and realization approach. As a result, the realization concept has recently been expanded by accounting standards-setting bodies in individual countries. The first official document which developed the realization concept was "Accounting and Reporting Standards for Corporate Financial Statements" issued in 1957 by the American Accounting Association (AAA). 人口減少下における沖縄のまちづくり
No full text人口減少化におけるまちづくりは,各地域が比較優位性を持つ地域資源を如何に見いだし,ストリー性をいかに創り出していくかといわれている。全国的な人口減少にもかかわらず,人口が増加している地方都市のまちづくりは,その対象者が,地域外者ではなく,現在,その地域に暮らす人々が如何に満足するかというまちづくりとなっている。このような取組みが地域外の人々を魅了し,人口が増加していることがヒアリング調査で判明した。本稿は,これらの調査を沖縄県,特に,普天間飛行場返還後の沖縄県外からの移住者を含めた沖縄本島のまちづくりに向けての提言をまとめた。A key to success in developing a town is to discover the town's comparative advantages and create a robust story to attract people from even distant regions or abroad under decreasing population trends. Despite the awareness of population trends in Japan, the regions with increasing populations still endorse bullish policies providing public services which satisfy mainly their own residents, rather than those who live outside the region. This paper outlines an appropriate proposal for Okinawa's urban development with regard to the continuing decrease in population in Japan and Okinawa.departmental bulletin pape
